A Wooden Luggage is the icon of travel in the past, indicate the premium, well suited people that have a lot of important things inside the luggage. Snoobrew carries the old fashion value of the famous Wooden Luggage and make a little twist with modern, clean and minimalist value, make the luggage is suitable for young people that wanted to look different, prestigious, exclusive but still not look as old as the wooden luggage used to be.

This project is about exploration of material, production process, and increasing the sense of fashion aesthetic that both functional and beautiful for people to wear in daily life’s.
Revisit Revive Old Minimalist Happy Friendly Nature
By using reverse engineering an existing luggage to know the component of a bag/ trolley bag, learn stitch patterns, leather crafting, and other manual modelling. The project requires the designer sensitivity for fashion aesthetic with engineering capability for production by using reverse engineering and simple design method to help find a direct solution and market opportunity for the product.

Today, Radio listener moved to more futuristic technology like smartphone or music provider. But, radio listener is more specific and loyal to their media player because 2 things, effort and random, sub-conciously people who listen radio prefer the simple & little effort, sometimes like to wait for random things that just go through their time & ears. As today, radio in our home not had special place like TV and others Multimedia Player, making something that almost forgotten to be more appealing & attractive, but at the same time it blends well with the surrounding and become unobtrusive decoration for today. MOC Radio carrying the value of simplicity & random by removing the analog dial display, tuning by only use the user feeling of “good channel & music� they wanted to hear. At visually clean and calm with wood accent to make more attractive but also not obtrusive for the room.

About the Project
This project is about making an object that can contain the value of user, place, and experience in the function it self. The design concept is from the user perspective, experience, and opinion that the designer collected using deep interview method. Beside the design concept, the engineering process/thingking is developed through the teardown process of existing radio, the teardown is to choose the basic platform for the enclosure such as, dimension and assembly process. With the project objective is to design the radio enclosure based on the component of an existing old radio that had been teardown, and combining it with a value of the user, including behaviour, taste and their perspective of the radio it self.

We know that kid’s are proactive and dynamic, their mind is not like the adults, what today’s lack of child development is the kid’s ability to Socialize and Teamwork with the other’s, that factor is to prepare the children to face better future and more complex life as an adult. A Kindergarten is a perfect place for early child development, but sometimes the school not give any attention to their school equipment, especially the furniture, it lack’s the teamwork and socialization medium from the table and the chair, makes the school activity totally static and boring without any dynamic & active learning. Saturday Kindergarten Furniture Set is made from Rattan, safe with rounded edges, and gentle curves of the rattan itself made kindergarten fresher and with its modularity feature the class not just gonna be watching a chalkboard, but the student will find their friends working together for better future.

About the Project
Understanding Human Activity and Behaviour
Sketch Process
This project is about bringing positive change in human activity, through furniture, the value of better behaviour and more productivity is the point the designer want to give to society.
The Shadowing method used by Saturday Design Team to understand deeper the kindergarten school activity and student individual behaviour in using class furniture.
The sketching process from the design team is used to explore the shape idea, manufacturing capabilities, and determine the final design concept.
The furniture itself isn’t just a room decoration and filling, but it also the things that attach and connected to every human in the room. if it’s an adult, it’s gonna be easy, but children ? the unpredicted and dynamic imagination made their behaviour somehow unique and a lot of potential to develop. This project goal/objective is to design rattan furniture (rattan is the requirement that lecturer semester theme) that can have human behaviour changing value better than before, in this particular user, a kindergarten student is unique and challanging for designer to open new perspective and overcome the skill limit.

Surabaya is one of the most crowded and largest city in Indonesia, making life more complex than living in suburban, people of Surabaya facing numerous challenge, especially in mass transportation. As buses became more unreliable in this modern age because the on-demand transportation is taking over with all new fancy feature, a refresh concept of a bus is needed because the main concept of mass transportation is about using less vehicle unit but carry more people in every trip available. IONA - Articulated City Bus is a solution to new developing city like Surabaya to become more advance city. Articulated Bus with Hybrid Technology will provide more efficiency and solution to traffic jam while also reducing the Carbon Footprint in every trip.

The Route Analysis
This project is about understanding the complex situation & characteristic of urban society, especially the relation of city dynamic activity and the public transportation. The perspective from the government, unit development area, and the route situation are the main issues and background problem to be solved within this project.
From the help of the goverment (Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya) vision, the design team can understand the current issue and relatable solution to the possible problem.
From the design team research data and government pilot project, the articulated bus is picked not just because the capacity, but the efficiency in energy, available route, and demand for better bus upgrade.
The Design Team must acquire reliable data about current condition and what the possible future can the team create from their perspective with a logical parameters that the project can be applied in real life. Overall objective of this project is to Design Transportation Vehicle Concept that can be a solution to existing issue and problem, the overall concept must be presented with a scale model of the vehicle, route detail, and operational illustration.
The chosen route is from Purabaya Bus Terimal to Jembatan Merah Plaza, with 42 Bus Stop, 15 of them arleady exist. The bus turning radius is also not a problem to the city like Surabaya, especially in the center of the city. Alternative Route 1 Purabaya - JMP

Dining room is a place where the whole family activity came together, a complex room that required certain lighting that could bring the warmth of the family more close together.
Fogbloom is the result of how simplicity of family meets the warmth of the mother nature, bring unobtrusive hanging lamp that emmit light without disturb the dining room activity, no sensual
shape or over sensational emotion, the lamp act like the true functional but beautiful object, bringing a unique character than other dining room lamp before.

The competition already decided the type of lamp the participant can choose, with the design consideration and matching the type of lamp used in the competition, the minimalist approach to the dining room lamp is fogbloom used to reduce the production cost, but still using

a great unique material like laminated bamboo for the body, and bamboo cotton for the lamp diffuser, the lamp for the dining room doesn’t require a direct strong light, but more like a subtle and bright enough to light the entire room activity, especially above the table.
The fogbloom lamp is a truthfull object that not disturb the room with a sensational and over beautified decoration, it bring the warmth atmosphere with a elegance, humble, and modesty to dining room.

As the world now realize the concern about environmental health, DeCube team decide to take the same action and came up with Idea of Papermesh Lamp, as the shape of
the cube are stack and sculpt like Pixel Art inspired object, the light from decube lamp shine through the cube hole making the nice ambient warm light for the room.
This project are pass the funding selection for the Student Creativity Programm held by Kemenristekdikti to explore further research.

The Process to making a single lamp is begin in 3D Modelling brainstorming, gathering the idea and the shape for the lamp, the base, and the size of the modular cube.
As the Paper Cube created using secret material blended with Paper Mesh molded using acrylic case and let it dry. Assembly proses & quality controis the last step for making the lamp working properly.

(Let’s Talk), this packaging bring another experience in how you communicate with each other, bring a new concept about tea time and talk experience using sticky memo and hanging tea bag to boost a fun and excitement in tea time.

From the moment you bought the packaging, the triangle shape is eye catching and colourful in sariwangi design DNA. When you open it, you welcomed by hanging tea back, that similar to cloth hanger, just pull the tea bag without having to messing up the whole tea bag in the box. Tear the upper sheet to get to the tea, and put it in your glass filled with hot water, the reminder is inside the rest of the sheet, the sheet can be used as sticky memo with built in adhesive. The door in triangle packaging can be used as a board in the wall or in the desk to stick the notes you already write it down, and wish that the one who you write it for read the memo.

A Tamarind Candy is a traditional candy from Indonesia especially from Java Island, the Sweet and Sour candy is one of the cheapest and delighful snack that can easily found and enjoy at anytime, sometimes we found the candy in a simple plastic wrap without any branding,
this packaging purpose to elevate and bring a new face to this candy, carrying the cheap value but not dirty street food with simple aesthethic and recognizable graphic design to get more love from the customer.

The Silhouette of Tamarind Candy is presented as the face of the packaging, with minimal, simple, unobtrusive typography. The nature speaks about themself, the human only admires and ask why the god can create such a beautifull world.
DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURER AND ASSEMBLY (DFMA) METHOD PROJECT
The term “design for manufacture” (or DFM) means the design for the ease of manufacture of the collection of parts that form the product after assembly and “design for assembly” (or DFA) means the design of the product for the ease of assembly. Design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) is a combination of DFA and DFM. DFMA also refers to design activity that is based on minimizing the cost of production and/or time to market for a product, while maintaining an appropriate level of quality. A primary strategy in DFM involves minimizing the number of parts in a product. Bicycle Tail Light is one of many product that helpful to people are like to ride bicycle, this product is using solar energy for rechare the battery inside so the lamp can be used over-and-over without changing the battery inside it, even when the user using it at night. it’s a perfect object to be redesign using DFMA Method.

MOON JELLYFISH CLAY SCULPTURE
As an early stage in design, it is very important for designers to train their gradual exploration of shape. This topic invites students to look at the surrounding objects and take them as subject matters, explore its unique shapes and properties, then implement them in the form of sculpture. Students are also trained their thinking methods and craftmanship skills. The Moon Jellyfish is a unique animal that very potential and not a lot people think of this animal, because of it’s emptyness in every context, no exact volume, no exact volume, activity and etc. The Designer take this advantages and give the jellyfish a context of depth, value, and emotion. transforming the subject from 2D beautiful water creature to become more wild, uncertain, and have depth and dimension, tighten the value of living creature to the real world and real structure. The Sculpture is called, Chaos of Emptyness.
