CENTRO COMUNITARIO APODACA

Proyectado sobre un parque en malas condiciones, se propone la conservaci贸n de la mayor 谩rea verde posible y mantener la escala de menos de dos pisos dentro de la zona suburbana. El conjunto consiste en un sistema abierto alrededor de un patio central, cuyas entradas se alinean a las calles existentes. El volumen que contiene los centros deportivos cuenta con sus 谩reas de servicio fuera del bloque, como transici贸n a la escala que dicho elemento requiere. The site is located on the suburban area of Monterrey City, and functions as a park, but due to the lack of maintenance and solar protection it remains empty during all the day instead of being an element to enforce community gathering. The solution consists on an open system which volumes revolve around a central patio, while the entrances are aligned to the existing streets. The classrooms are two story buildings order to respect the context scale and are surrounded by trees to provide shade to the complex.

MULTIFAMILIAR OBISPADO

La biblioteca consiste en 3 volúmenes del mismo tamaño rotados de tal suerte que se adapten a la irregularidad del terreno y queden rodeados por área verde. El volumen del centro es solo una cubierta, el espacio es transitable y permite la vista tanto del sitio histórico del Obispado como vistas de la ciudad.

The library consists of 3 volumes, rotated in order to adapt to the city and be surrounded by gardens. The central volume is raised in order to appreciate the views to the historical monument to the east and the city to the west.

En planta baja, el terreno es dividido en 5 franjas transversales, que consisten en un patio frontal, la sala, un patio central, área de esparcimiento y el patio trasero, sobre las cuales destacan dos bloques que albergan los espacios privados de la casa. El esquema mantiene la fluidez espacial en la planta baja y el contacto con áreas verdes entre los espacios.

El terreno está cercano al casco histórico de la ciudad de Monterrey, cuenta con dos árboles de altura considerable, colinda con edificios de dos a tres plantas de altura y se encuentra con una calle transitada al frente. Dado que el terreno es angosto y cuenta con más del doble de profundidad, se elige ordenar todos los elementos a partir de una viga que cruza el terreno longitudinalmente, sobre el cual recaen los elementos estructurales. Se propone una terraza en la planta alta, el frente da hacia la calle, motivo por el cual se elige separar la casa de la calle a través de una rejilla recubierta por enredaderas; la losa es perforada para mantener el árbol.

The solutions consist in two transversal volumes on the upper level in order to maintain a fluent space on the lower one, which is divided into five zones.

The site is surrounded by 2 to 3 store houses. Due to the traffic on the street in front, the serviced places are separated from it by servant spaces, while on the second floor; those are separated by a terrace, which isolate the outside noise. The indoor space is ordered by a beam which longitudinally crosses the terrain, which supports all the structural elements.
