Welcome to St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend Welcome to the Isaac region’s premier eco-tourism, culinary and First Nations event. St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend’s success was certainly not made overnight. This is thanks to many, many years of hard work. Council’s hardworking team behind the scenes look forward to continuing the special relationship into the future with our First Nations peoples, community groups, our volunteers, government, business and tourism stakeholders. Historic St Lawrence is one great part of the evolving Isaac story. We look forward to enjoying this 2022 chapter with you.

Matt Golinski is a highly regarded, professional chef with a passion for creating cuisine using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. Well known as one of the original team members of the popular ‘Ready Steady Cook’ television series, Matt has worked as executive chef at some of Queensland’s leading restaurants and founded his own catering company. Matt has been a guest Chef at the St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend for a number of years.
Costa Georgiadis Gardening Guru
Costa Georgiadis is Australia’s most famous landscape architect and TV presenter who has an allconsuming passion for plants and people – he knows how to bring out the best in both of them, and takes great pleasure in bringing them together. His holistic approach is all about gardening, the soil, and the soul.

Join with artist Margaret Burgess and work on life-sized dolphins and dugongs made out of recycled synthetic fabrics. If textiles are your jam, visit with artist Tracey Robb and play with threads doing some slow stitching or macrame.

CAMPING & GLAMPING Camping, Glamping & Caravanning Information Enter via Gate 3 at the Recreation Grounds just on the edge of St Lawrence. All camping, glamping and caravanning bookings will require an event entry ticket along with your camping, caravanning or glamping ticket to attend the event.
