ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
SELECTED WORKS 2010 - 2020
Hello. My name is Isabela and I am an architect. I graduated in Brazil, in the University of Maringa, where I studied from 2008 until 2012. On april of 2018 I finished a master at Politecnico di Milano. Professionally, I believe I can work both independently or in a team with a good time management. Moreover, I have a deep passion of improving personal and professional skills, despite of the field, weather a new language or a new architectural design software. My personal characteristics go from being a dog lover till having an easy-going personality that makes it effortless to relate well with people.

INTERNSHIP PROJECT 2018 HYPNOS STUDIO DI ARCHITETTURA
The masterplan for the new Lorenteggio library gives us the idea of building from scratch over one of these green spaces: an unattractive park, actually a banal dog area, but still natural space, precious draining soil!
Biblioteca Lorenteggio Internship Project 2018
Our choice is radical: to save all the natural surface, bringing the green area back to the roof of the future building.

FORNACE
11/20
The main purpose of the studio was to work in four farms of the municipality of Abbiategrasso in the Province of Milano. Historically, those farms belonged to the Ca’Grande Hospital. Nowadays, they are rented for local farms. Each farm has specific products and Cascina Fornace currently is breeding cows while cultivating hay and wheat for them.
MASTER STUDIO PROJECT URBAN REGENERATION STUDIO CAMPUS POLITECNICO DI MILANO 2016 IN CO-OPERATION WITH MARIA AKLIMANDOS, VALENTINA BERTANI, SANDRA CALLEGARI
The group proposed two future interventions for this specific farm. The first one is the cultivation of wheat, its harvesting, milling and end product storaged and selled, as well as rehabilitate an abandoned Fornace Building (reusing it not for making bricks, but for baking products from the wheat) and open the Cascina for Educational Purpose. With this first intervention, we hope that the economical value of this farm would be increased in order to persue the second internvention, which is gathering the wheat harvested from the surrounding Cascinas, and milling, storing and selling them as well. Meanwhile, in order to atract people, a Trattoria will take place in the main building in the center of the farm and cooking classes will be carried out.

Back in 1930, the Naviglio connecting to Milan was closed for streets construction, stopping the activity of transportation of goods through Bereguardo Channel. Nowadays, Cascina Fornace is mainly being used for Beef Herd breeding, which was as well one of the activities carried out in the past.

WORK EXPERIENCE IN BRAZIL 2013-2015 ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF HOSPITAL, UNIVERSITIES AND PUBLIC SPACES
Brazil is one of the countries in Latin America with the highest mortality rates for women and newborn children, a serious public health problem. From local studies in Cascavel, it was found that the structure of the Hospital Universitário do Oeste do Paraná is insufficient to meet all specialties, especially maternal and child. Thus, this work aimed at the elaboration of the Architectural Project for the new Maternal and Child Ward of the Hospital Universitário do Oeste do Paraná, located in the city of Cascavel - Paraná, in order to contemplate the demand of patients in the West region of Paraná. As a result, a project with the following characteristics was completed: 38 maternity beds, 26 beds for the obstetric center, 29 beds for the neonatal ICU and 18 beds for the neonatal ICU in a total built area of 5,127.54 m²
