PAPARINOLA Currently many Mexican children lack the father figure presence, since they migrate North or simply work all day. This lack of presence affects them in a short and long term. This object communicates that male presence which is essential in the child´s growth development. With the paparinola they create a link object - father/ºson/daughter-feelings. By representing a child on his father’s shoulders.

CHAC MOOL The main purpose was to create a pozole (mexican traditional dish) bowl representing the thanking of eating . Sensitize them on the importance of food as well as its development, making the act of eating an act of reflection. “Chac Mool� is the messenger of the Mayan gods, who gave offerings to them. I wanted to represent that offering via this plates, in order to be thankful because theres s o m e thing to eat.

NATURA
Natura is a modular fence, which can be used both at home and parks. It consists on modules, which allow the user to adapt it and accommodate it to its needs in terms of height and width. We also took into account the re-use of waste which helps reduce manufacturing costs and gives more functionality to the object. In our case, the waste is used as a bicycle parking.

AMPLIDO
Amplido is a practical foldable pocket size sound amplifier designed for cell-phones. It fits perfectly in your pocket so you can take it anywhere you go. The assignment was to design and produce a give away for Interieur week 2012 in Kortrijk, Belgium. Since we needed 500 gadgets laser cutting was the best solution, since its manufacture process is low cost and precise and fast.

I wanted the plate to hold different types of aperitifs. By making it depper it allows the product itself to be more useful. Aperitifs are small portion of food offered before the main course. This shape will allow the user enjoy and eat delicious treats no matter what food is inside them.

PIRAMIDE
Piramide is a multifunctional, adaptable kid’s high chair. Its shape allows the product become objects in one. Once the kid grows the high chair becomes a table and a low chair. Its meant for young parents who like to optimize space and kids accessories. The back seat is also adaptable allowing the child grow with it and give it as much use as possible.

COCOON Cocoon Garden is a gardening path designed for people who enjoy spending time outdoors and of course taking care of their plants. Its oval shape makes it an interesting solution since it protects the plants from direct sunlight and provides shade while working inside. This project was made during an intensive program workshop at Howest , where we needed to develop a solution for our clients problem. In our case an elderly woman named Anna who loved taking care of her plants.

ACQUATECH SAVER Modular and intelligent device for recovery, monitoring, debugging, and reuse of soapy water in the clothing washing machines. The general objective was to design the case of the “Aquatech Saver� system, taking into account existing products and new approaching trends. This project proposes the development of a technological product adaptable to different washing machines, with the function of recycle, filter and reuse the soapy water from the rinse cycle of a washing machine, in order to save up to 50% of the water destined for this use.

CROCI TILE COLLECTION The Croci Collection derives it´s essence from the Art Deco period of the 1920’s and 30’s. A period inspired by the decorative and ornamental aspects of geometric elements, forms, motifs and their variations. This era brought beauty, grace, elegance and functionality to art, architecture and material goods. The Croci collection captures the outstanding artistry of this period’s reflection on modernization. Designed in Mexico, produced in Spain.

The company was asking for a cooking book for their 70 year anniversary Develop a proposal for a image of a recipe book for products cooked mabe, which provide added value for the user, facilitating the use of the products, as well as food processing.
