ssue number 7 of our magazine has a theme that we hold very dear: the world of children and more generally entertainment at the Isaholidays Villages, both by day, but especially by night. Our target has always been families and our mission is to make our little guests have a great time, so their parents get to enjoy a relaxing, carefree holiday. If you will, this is an easy task, and almost already completed. The real challenge these days is to involve and engage the difficult group of teens and upwards, the generation of "young adults" who© ll still come on holiday with mum and dad as long as they find everything they expect: a group of kids, social events, sports challenges, music, Wi-Fi, aperitifs, parties and evenings hanging on the beach with a guitar...and all the rest. Reflecting on all that gave us the idea of creating places, services and events at our Villages especially for them, or more generally for people who enjoy those aspects of a seaside holiday too, besides the beach and waterparks. So places that up until a few years ago were only popular during the day have become places to hang out and socialise for young and not-so-young adults. The beach becomes the venue for incredible Hawaiian parties where you can enjoy a dance and a drink with your friends into the small hours. Parties were the big thing in summer 2016, right up until the final weekend of the season, when the grand Closing Party was held in all the villages, now an unmissable tradition. Nighttime entertainment continues well past quiet time, outside of the village limits so as not to disturb the guests. In Barricata it© s at a pretty little bar and disco down on the seafront. At Isamar it© s at the Cabana, a venue that turns into a proper nightclub after a certain time of night. In recent years Barricata Village has been getting more and more popular with young people, thanks to a series of events like the hip hop gathering in June, a week of street dance that attracts famous international artists. Or kitesurfing, a sport that is spontaneously creating a surfer community on the beaches of Barricata. All of our resorts hold all kinds of kids©gatherings and sports camps every year. This year, Isamar will be hosting its second Rugby Camp run by Mauro Bergamasco, which is an important event, because both we and their staff share the idea of training kids in life values through fun, games and healthy competition. All of these events have echoed on after the summer thanks to the buzz on social networks, which was a powerful bonding tool for all those who shared photos and videos of so many holiday moments. In short, we© re doing our best to win this challenge too. And the proof that we© re on the right track is the sheer volume of positive feedback flooding in through Facebook posts, so lovely that they should be mentioned. One last snippet of important information: this year, whoever is looking for the biggest, most luxurious holiday home in our range of accommodation will find it at Barricata and it© s called Saturno XXXL. Nummer 7 van ons Tijdschrift heeft speciaal thema, dat ons na aan het hart ligt: de wereld van de jeugd, of meer in het algemeen, vooral het nachtelijk vertier in de Vakantiedorpen Isaholidays. We richten ons altijd al op het gezin en zien het als onze taak om onze jongste gasten te vermaken en hun ouders zodoende een leuke, onbezorgde vakantie te bieden, vol ontspanning. Maar deze opdracht is eigenlijk best "eenvoudig" en kan nauwelijks falen. De laatste tijd vormt de werkelijke uitdaging echter het kieskeurige tienerpubliek, dat zich moeizaam ergens bij laat betrekken, nl. de " jonge volwassenen" die nog graag met vader en moeder op vakantie gaan, maar op voorwaarde dat aan al hun wensen wordt voldaan: groep leeftijdgenoten, socialisatie, sportuitdagingen, muziek, wifi-verbinding, aperitiefjes, feestjes, avonden op het strand met de gitaar e.d. Hierop is het idee gebaseerd om in onze Vakantiedorpen ruimtes, diensten en evenementen te creëren speciaal voor hen of meer in het algemeen voor al degenen die ook deze aspecten van een zeevakantie waarderen en niet alleen voor strand en waterpretparken kiezen. En zo zijn plekken die tot voor enkele jaren alleen overdag werden bezocht, geworden tot een trefpunt waar jongeren en ook volwassenen © s avonds gezellig samenkomen. Het strand wordt het toneel van prachtige "Hawaiaanse" feesten, waar met vrienden wordt gedanst en gedronken tot diep in de nacht. Party© s waren het belangrijkste thema van zomer 2016, tot het laatste weekend van het seizoen, toen in alle vakantiedorpen het grote Afsluitfeest plaatsvond, een onmisbaar evenement dat zo onderhand traditie is geworden. Het nachtelijk vertier duurt vervolgens voort tot in de vroege uurtjes buiten het dorp, om de gasten niet te storen: in Barricata in een geweldige discobar aan zee , in Isamar in La Cabana, een club die rond een bepaalde tijd © s nachts in een ware disco verandert. Villaggio Barricata valt de laatste jaren steeds meer in de smaak bij de jongeren, ook vanwege een reeks evenementen zoals de hiphop-bijeenkomst in juni, een week lang straatdansen, met bekende buitenlandse artiesten. Of kitesurfen, een sport die hier op de stranden van Barricata spontaan door een groep fans wordt beoefend. In al onze structuren worden jaarlijks, voor elke sporttak bijeenkomsten en kampen georganiseerd. Isamar organiseert dit jaar voor de tweede keer het Rugbykamp van Mauro Bergamasco, een belangrijke ontmoeting, want wij zijn het volkomen met hen eens, nl. dat jongeren moeten worden gevormd volgens normen en waarden door middel van vertier, spel en heilzame sportbeoefening. Al deze evenementen vonden afgelopen zomer hun weerklank in de activiteiten via de social networks, waar foto© s en video© s van vele vakantiemomenten werden gedeeld. Met andere woorden, we doen ons uiterste best om ook deze uitdaging te trotseren. En het bewijs dat we de goede richting zijn ingeslagen leveren de vele posts op Facebook, werkelijk zo prachtig dat ze geciteerd zouden moeten worden. Nog even een belangrijk bericht: de grootste en meest luxueuze woning van ons volledige gamma vindt u dit jaar in Barricata, nl. Saturno XXXL. Polesine Special

An area that "looks good on camera"

More than 40 films, documentaries and videos have been shot in Polesine over the last 40 years, making the area between the rivers Po and Adige a top cinema set

ow many people know that the 6th episode of Roberto Rossellini's "Paisan", one of the films that made Italian cinema history, was shot in Porto Tolle? The marshes and canebrakes - where partisans and ex-American POWs hide out in the second world war, fighting the Germans who come upriver on armed boats - are the ones in the Basson lagoon area, a stunning natural setting on the Po Delta at Pila. A few years earlier, in 1943, another famous top film director Luchino Visconti, shot "Obsession" in Occhiobello. The story of clandestine passion between Chiara Calamai and Massimo Girotti

was banned by the Fascist regime and snubbed by film critics because of the realism of many scenes that had created a scandal at the time. “Obsession” brought atmospheres typical of the Polesine area to the screen - the hot, oppressive air, chirping cicadas and the humidity smothering the bodies and lives of the main characters of this murky affair. An affair that is kindled in the little restaurant owned by the Braganas, in the Polesella area, e and played out along the levees of the Po near Ferrara. Further referencing great directors, Michelangelo Antonioni also opted for Polesine as a location that embodied strong sentiments when he set “The Cry” with

Alida Valli there. The film was supposed to be shot around Pontelagoscuro, Occhiobello, Ca’ Venier and Punta Maistra, but the course of the Po river in 1956 meant cuts were made in the screenplay and that there was a general rethink of all the locations. Veneto film-maker Renato Dall’Ara's 1961 half-documentary, half-fiction, "Scano Boa", cannot miss out on a mention. It is a fictional account of the life of fishermen on the island that sits between the lagoon and the sea, the ideal habitat of all kinds of birds, where the only trace of human life are the the bamboo fishermen's huts. The landscape again echoes strong emotions here, which

are sometimes tinged with a more sinister side. The unusual atmosphere of these areas actually also inspired many thrillers and crime films like "The House With Laughing Windows" by Pupi Avanti, which became an actual cult film, with lots of sequences shot in Ca' Venier and the fishing inlets of Scardovari. Or films like "Italian Night" which marked the 1987 debut of the Paduan director Carlo Mazzacurati, who recently passed away. Filmed entirely on the Po Delta, the film portrays a story of property speculation and illegal methane extraction. "The Right Distance", filmed ten years later by the same director, is also set in Polesine. It deals with the topic of integration via a

love story involving a Tunisian mechanic and a young teacher from Tuscany whose job has brought her to the Po Delta. Shot around Porto Tolle and Porto Viro, it showcases views of the Delta like the famous pontoon bridge in Santa Giulia, the water pumps and rural apartment blocks, the expanses of canebrakes and many other locations dotted along the levees. We also glimpse some footage of Contarina, a hamlet of Porto Tolle, in "Vacation" (1971), one of the first films by Tinto Brass featuring Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero. Before concluding this quick round-up, we want to remind you that the stunning beauty of these places has also enchan-

ted major contemporary music stars. Zucchero filmed his video for "Voci", one of the most evocative tracks on his latest album, "Black Cat", right here, between Caâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; Vendramin and Barricata. Shots of flamingoes taking flight over the lagoon, a motorbike racing down a road along the Po levee at Goro and endless stretches of beach unfold one after the other, merging with the unmistakeable timbre of the singer's voice, in a return to his deepest blues roots with this album. It is therefore inevitable that it leads to the creation of shared imagery linking the Po to the Mississippi, another wide, mysterious river that features in unforgettable Hollywood films.

De moerassen en rietgewassen - waar tijdens de tweede wereldoorlog partizanen en Amerikaanse ex-gevangenen ontsnapten en op de Duitsers stuitten, die gewapend de rivier opvoeren - behoren tot de Basson-lagune, het natuurlijke en suggestieve decor nabij de monding van de Po di Pila. Enkele jaren eerder, in 1943, nam een andere grootheid uit de filmwereld, Luchino Visconti, in Occhiobello de film “Ossessione” op. Hij vertelt het verhaal van de gehei-

me liefde tussen Chiara Calamai en Massimo Girotti; de film werd gecensureerd door het fascistische regime en afgekeurd door de recensenten vanwege het realisme van velerlei scènes, die destijds veel ophef veroorzaakten. in zijn hoofd als toneel voor zwaarmoedige gevoelens, om “Il grido” met Alida Valli op te nemen: Oorspronkelijk zou de film opgenomen worden in de buurt van Pontelagoscuro, Occhiobello, Ca’ Venier en Punta Maistra, maar vanwege de stroming van de Po in 1956 werden er scènes uitgeknipt en werd de volledige locatie gewijzigd. De bijzondere sfeer in dit gebied heeft namelijk ook heel wat kunstfilms, thrillers en misdaadgenre geïnspireerd, b.v. “La casa delle finestre che ridono” van Pupi Avati, een ware cultfilm, waarvan veel scènes zijn opgenomen in Ca’ Venier en in de viskwekerijen van Scardovari. Of een film zoals “Notte Italiana” uit 1987, het debuut van Carlo Mazzacurati, de onlangs overleden regisseur uit Padua. De hele film speelt zich af in de Po-delta en handelt over speculatie in de bouw en illegale aardgaswinning. Ook "La giusta distanza" van dezelfde regisseur tien jaar nadien speelt zich af in de Polesine-streek: de film handelt over integ-

ratie, het verhaal van de liefde van een Tunesische monteur en een jonge Toscaanse onderwijzeres, die beiden naar de Po-delta zijn gekomen om te werken. De film speelt zich af in de buurt van Porto Tolle en Porto Viro en onthult beelden van de Delta, b.v. de bekende bootbrug van Santa Giulia, de pompinstallaties en plattelandswoningen, de uitgestrekte rietgewassen en vele andere locaties langs de oevers. Enkele kiekjes van Contarina, gemeente Porto Tolle, treffen we ook aan in “La vacanza” (1971), een van de eerste werken van Tinto Brass, met als hoofdrolspelers Vanessa Redgrave en Franco Nero. van de hedendaagse lichte muziek betoverd zijn door de schoonheid van deze streek: Zucchero heeft dit gebied, namelijk de omgeving van Ca’ Vendramin en Barricata uitverkoren voor de videoclip van “Voci”, een van de meest suggestieve stukken van zijn recentste album “Black Cat”. Flamingo's die over de lagune vliegen, een motorrit langs de Po di Goro, eindeloze stranden, die overgaan in de overduidelijke stem van de liedjesschrijver, die met dit album weer terugkeert naar zijn oorspronkelijke bluesgenre. En dan kan het niet anders of er ontstaat een denkbeeldig verband tussen de Po en de Mississippi, een van die andere grote, mysterieuze rivieren, hoofdrolspeler in onvergetelijke films van het universum van Hollywood...

One of the founding fathers of Italian Neorealism, he directed legendary films including “The Earth Will Tremble" (1948), “The Wanton Countess” (1954), “The Leopard” (1962) and “Death in Venice” (1971).

Scenarioschrijver, theater- en filmregisseur en een van de belangrijkste artiesten en cultuurmensen van de XXe eeuw. Hij is een van de grondleggers van het Italiaanse Neoliberalisme en regisseerde bekende films zoals “La terra trema” (1948), “Senso” (1954), “Il Gattopardo” (1962), “Morte a Venezia” (1971).

The director disappeared from public life.

In 2016 all of the ISAholiday Villages' bars and restaurants were completely renovated in the name of quality, tradition and the local area, with typical dishes and locally sourced products. So, joining the parade are fish risotto,

"Bisato" (eel), "Sarde in saòr" (sardines in a sweet and sour sauce), "Baccalà mantecato" (creamed Venetian style cod fish), bigoli pasta, squid in ink sauce and plenty of typical products that represent the Venetian lagoon and the Po Delta. From Sacca di Scardovari mussels and oysters to violet artichoke from Sant'Erasmo island, "Rosa from Chioggia": red radicchio and Po Delta melon, Po Delta rice and "Moeche" softshelled shore crabs, under the protection of Slowfood.

In the Venetian lagoon, the smell of the sea intertwines with the aromas of Oriental spices, which have over the centuries mingled with the oldest traditional Venetian cooking. Rice has come all the way from distant lands to become a staple element of Veneto cooking and gave rise to one of the most typical dishes, "Risi e bisi" (rice and peas). The famous dish of "sarde en saĂ˛r" also hides a curious history, since saĂ˛r is actually a condiment from Constantinople. This mixture of vinegar, onion, sultanas and pine nuts was an excellent way of pickling healthy and delicious fish during the long voyages of the Venetian merchants.

If you move towards the Po Delta ,Venetian food culture blends with that of Ferrara, creating a mix of the valleys, the sea and the river which create unique dishes, like "Risotto polesano" made with Po Delta rice, eel, grey mullet and sea bass, filleted and poached in a white wine stock. The origins of this dish are clearly the Venetian lagoon. It sits alongside a recipe whose traits are distinctly from the Po Valley, "Faraona in tecia" (guinea-fowl stew). Along the Po river boundary, Ferrarese cooking begins to appear with "Salama da sugo" (pork sausage), "Cappellacci di zucca" (pasta suffed with pumpkin) and "Stracotto d'asino" (donkey stew).

In 2016 is het restaurantconcept van de Vakantiedorpen ISAholidays volledig herzien qua kwaliteit, traditie en territorium, met streekgerechten en nul-kilometer producten. En nu worden in onze restaurants dus visrisotto geserveerd, bisato (paling), sardienes in "saòr" saus, smeuïge kabeljauw, bigolipasta, inktvis in inktsaus en vele andere typische producten uit de

Venetiaanse lagune en Po-delta. Van de mosselen en oesters van de Sacca di Scardovari tot de paarse artisjokken van het eiland Sant’Erasmo, de Rosa di Chioggia (rode radicchio-sla), de meloenen uit de Polesine-delta, de rijst uit de Po-delta en de molechekrab met het "Slow food Presidium" merk. In de Venetiaanse lagune wordt de geur van de zee verstrengeld met het aroma van kruiden uit het Oosten, die zich eeuwenlang vermengd hebben met de gerechten van de alleroudste Venetiaanse traditie. De rijst uit deze verre streken wordt een fundamenteel element van de keuken uit de Veneto-regio en vormt

de basis van een van de meest typische gerechten, risi e bisi. Ook de herkomst van de bekende Sarde en saòr is curieus: saòr is namelijk een saus afkomstig uit Constantinopolis. De ingrediënten van de saus zijn azijn, uien, rozijnen en pingels, een gezonde en smaakvolle basis om vis te conserveren tijdens de lange reizen van de Venetiaanse kooplui. Verder richting Po-delta komt de eetcultuur in aanraking met die van Ferrara en omgeving, waardoor er een combinatie van platteland, zee en rivier ontstaat, hetgeen resulteert in unieke gerechten zoals de risotto polesano, bereid met rijst uit de Po-delta paling,

Saturn is built using natural materials, guaranteeing a solid, well-insulated construction. The exteriors are clad in wood grain finish PVC slats. The roof and floor are wooden. It's a luxuriously designed, innovative holiday home, with comfortable, technologically advanced interiors. SATURNO's distinctive feature is the living area with large windows on 2 sides, looking out onto the large 20 sq.m. terrace, again on 2 sides, which becomes the natural openair extension of the living room.

A layout with a clear divide between the sleeping and living areas guarantees privacy. The living area consists of a spacious L-shaped kitchen with breakfast bar, free-standing fridge, dishwasher and microwave. A comfortable corner sofa becomes an extra bed for 2 people. The furnishings are all in typical marine colours of azure, white and blue. The sleeping area consists of 3 large bedrooms, 2 double and 1 triple rooms, and designer bathrooms with shower, WC and bidet.

Word of mouth has turned it into a favourite destination, and young people are now arranging to meet up and explore this stunning area, which has enchanted famous singers like Zucchero - who filmed his latest video here - or hip hop stars like Jimmy Yudat Zelou, who posted one of his videos filmed at the village on Instagram, getting record views.

Hip hop was one of the hottest themes of the summer: for one week, street dance lovers from all over Italy congregated here to stage the ALL IN ONE URBAN KAMP 2016, a full-on event all about hip hop, freestyle, parties, workshops and contests.

Hiphopdansen is hĂŠt onderwerp van de zomer: hier kwamen van de zomer gedurende een week straatdansliefhebbers uit heel ItaliĂŤ bij elkaar voor het ALL IN ONE URBAN KAMP 2016, een ware onderdompeling in hiphopdansen, free-style, vertier, party's, workshops en wedstrijden.

Barricata beach has recently become the place to be for kitesurfers. You only have to scan the horizon on really windy days to see the sky fill up with coloured sails dancing around in the air. The first kitesurfers to come were locals from surrounding towns, but word soon got around and drew in lots of other kitesurfers. And all the time more young people are getting into this extreme sport, which combines the powerful energy of the sea and the wind. When the wind dies down, you have to find something else to do, and people have fun wakeboarding, in calm waters, towed by a speedboat. Alternatively, the surfboard makes a great picnic table!

Men hoeft op dagen met veel wind maar naar de horizon te turen en een schouwspel met kleurrijke, in de lucht dansende vliegers is gegarandeerd. Als eersten kwamen in het verleden surfers uit de naburige steden, maar al snel zorgde de mond-tot-mondreclame voor vele anderen. Steeds meer jongeren beoefenen deze extreme sport, die de kracht van zee en wind met elkaar combineert. Als er weinig of geen wind is moet men afleiding zoeken en dat gebeurt met wakeboarden, in rustige wateren, getrokken door een motorboot. Als alternatief kan de plank altijd nog als eettafel dienen!

TUTTOCAMPO CUP

May 2016: Barricata Village is invaded by a tide of pink. They are the regional finalists of the TuttocampoCup women's 5-a-side football championship. It's a spectacular event with more than 400 footballers ready to battle it out and 600 supporters ready to cheer on their favourite ladies. These are incredible numbers, requiring supremely diligent organisation, expertly handled by all of the village staff. It was an unforgettable event to watch, a moment of sport and entertainment that people will find hard to forget.

Mei 2016: een roze vloedgolf stroomt Villaggio Barricata binnen. Namelijk de regionale finalisten van de TuttocampoCup, het voetbalkampioenschap 5 vrouwen. Een spectaculair evenement: meer dan 400 sportvrouwen, klaar voor de strijd en 600 fans die hun lievelingen toejuichten. Indrukwekkende aantallen, organisatorisch gezien een hele opgave, voortreffelijk gecoĂśrdineerd door de volledige staf van het vakantiedorp. Een onvergetelijk schouwspel, een sportief en vermakelijk gebeuren dat de deelnemers nog lang zal heugen.

“I am really enthusiastic about this project. Every year I meet kids from different backgrounds and countries whom I share the same passion for rugby with. It is amazing to be able to grow together through this discipline, which is not just a sport, but a model for life". “The Rugby Camp is one of the various projects that I am promoting as a trainer, making myself a spokesman for the principles of solidarity, tolerance and fair play that I have learnt through playing”, says Mauro Bergamasco.

“Ik ben werkelijk enthousiast over dit project. Elk jaar word ik geconfronteerd met jongeren uit allerlei landen en milieus, met wie ik mijn hartstocht voor rugby deel. Het is geweldig om samen te groeien door middel van deze discipline, die niet alleen een tak van sport is, maar ook een levensmodel”. “De Campus is een van de projecten die ik als instructeur promoot en waarbij ik de principes van solidariteit, tolerantie en fairplay probeer uit te dragen, die ik al spelend heb opgestoken” aldus Mauro Bergamasco.

The aim of the camp is to communicate the values of rugby to young people, both Italian and foreign, between 10 and 15 years old. Training consists of three sessions in different environments: water, sand and earth, along with other activities that are complimentary to rugby, geared up to socialisation: a creative/experiential workshop, rugby theory and history, and video/film showings. All training is conducted by a team of professionals.

De campus heeft als doelstelling de sportwaarden door te geven aan de jeugd, zowel Italianen als buitenlanders, in de leeftijdsgroep van 10-15 jaar. De training bestaat uit drie sessies in verschillende omgeving: water, zand, aarde, in combinatie met overige acties ter aanvulling op rugby en met het oog op socialisatie: werkgroep creativiteit gebaseerd op ervaring, theorie en geschiedenis van het rugby, video- en filmprojectie. Dit alles staat onder leiding van een groep professionals.

Given the success of last year's event, we're expecting a large turnout of participants and rugby fans. It will be a stimulating, highly educational experience for the kids. Put to the test on the pitch, they will "live and breathe" team spirit, they will learn to respect and stick to shared rules, and they will learn to get along with their peers, on a course that develops their rugby skills, but above all their human and relational skills.

rom dawn till dusk in Isaholidays Villages, there are infinite ways of having fun and relaxing, from the waterpark to the beach, or the tranquillity of your accommodation.

The entertainment staff turn into acrobats, singers, magicians and dancers, ready to get guests involved in evening shows, where anyone can become the star of the show if they want.

But as night falls, when the street lights come on in the roads and walkways, everything looks different and you enter a new dimension. The energy ramps up and so does the desire to meet people, go dancing and have some fun...

n de vakantiedorpen Isaholidays zijn er van de vroege ochtend tot de late avond tal van mogelijkheden tot vermaak en ontspanning, het waterpretpark, het strand of de rust van de eigen woning.

Maar tegen de avond, wanneer de lampen aangaan op de wegen en in de stratjes, ziet alles er anders uit en krijgt een andere dimensie, de energie neemt toe en men krijgt zin om elkaar te ontmoeten, te dansen en plezier te maken.... De anima-

teurs worden omgetoverd in acrobaten, zangers, goochelaars en dansers en staan klaar om de gasten te betrekken bij spectaculaire avonden, waar men naar wens de hoofdrol kan spelen.

Want het ware vertier begint pas na zonsondergang. Men begint met een aperitief bij zonsondergang op het strand, alvast om in de stemming te komen. Dat is het mooiste moment van de dag: het begint te schemeren, het briesje en geluid van de branding zorgen voor de ideale omgeving om samen met vrienden het glas te heffen. De eerste avond is gewijd aan de kinderen: om 20.30 komen ze met tientallen samen op de piste om te babydansen, terwijl hun ouders geamuseerd toekijken.

En dan, als het echt donker is, gaan de lichten van het Teatro Tenda aan en begint de Show. De zitplaatsen zijn nooit genoeg en de allerjongsten verzamelen zich onder het podium, attent en vol spanning. Elke avond is er een andere voorstelling: de allermooiste musicals, cabaret, spelletjes met het publiek.

Because the real fun starts when the sun goes down.

It starts off with an aperitif at sunset, on the beach, just to warm up the atmosphere a little. It's the loveliest time of day. Soft light, the breeze and the sound of the sea provide the perfect setting for a drink with friends. Early evening is dedicated to the kids: at 20:30 scores of kids get up on the dance floor for baby dance, under the entertained gaze of the adults.

Then, when it gets dark, the Teatro Tenda lights come up and the Show gets under way. There are never enough seats and the little ones sit right down by the stage, absorbed and excited. Every night sees a different show - the best musicals, cabaret and games with the audience.

But the nighttime scene of our villages doesn't stop with theatre. The absolute highlight of the week is the beloved Beach Party, under the stars, with music and dancing.

Maar tijdens de nachtelijke vertoning in de vakantiedorpen blijft het niet alleen bij theatervoorstellingen: het langverwachte moment waar eenieder naar uitkijkt is de wekelijkse Beach Party, onder de sterrenhemel, met muziek en dans.

And since the night is long, when it really is time for lights out in the Village, those who haven't had enough yet can always find a place to keep dancing, or have one more drink.

En aangezien de nacht lang, is blijft er voor degenen die er maar niet genoeg van kunnen krijgen altijd nog een plek over om verder te dansen of van het allerlaatste glaasje te genieten wanneer in het dorp de lampen werkelijk uitgaan.

Het gaat dan om een schooltje dolfijnen, een stuk of twaalf, die steeds weer een onvergetelijk schouwspel te zien geven voor degenen die op het strand van hun ontspanning genieten. Het voorbijtrekken van dolfijnen is in Isamar met een zekere regelmaat te zien, vooral in de maand juni: het komt steeds vaker voor en kondigt als het ware de komst van de zomer aan. De dolfijnen naderen de kust op ongeveer 150 meter, waarschijnlijk gelokt door de inktvissen.

It's a small pod, a dozen or so, which however affords those who decide to treat themselves to a little relaxation on the beach an unforgettable performance every time.

At Isamar dolphins swimming by is not an unusual sight to behold, especially in

the month of June. It's an increasingly frequent occurrence and now almost heralds the start of summer. Dolphins come in about 150 metres from the shore, probably attracted by cuttlefish. One of the explanations for this phenomenon is the quality of the waters around Isolaverde, awarded the Blue Flag along with Sottomarina in 2015, certifying a holiday where the sea is clean.

When you mention dolphins, you immediately think of kids. And here's the best bit. Last year, Isolaverde beach was given another important award: the Green Flag - child-friendly beach award. The award was handed out by the Italian Association of Paediatricians who every year before the summer season draw up a ranking of beach resorts with the best facilities for families and children. Besides the actual beach area and other natural features like the sand or shallow waters, paediatricians have chosen the sites that guarantee an adequate lifeguard service in case of emergencies. The "green flag beach" also has to have food outlets and recreational areas for children and adults nearby. The beach area, fine sand, shallow waters, well-run lifeguard service and suitable facilities make ISOLAVERDE the ideal resort for family holidays.

De prijs is toegekend door de Italiaanse vereniging van kinderartsen die elk jaar, bij aanvang van het zomerseizoen, een ranglijst opstelt van de badplaatsen met de beste accommodatie voor gezinnen en kinderen. Niet alleen het zandstrand en overige natuurlijke kenmerken zoals de samenstelling van het zand en de ondiepe kustlijn worden door de kinderartsen in aanmerking genomen, maar ook de plaatsen waar in noodgevallen een goed georganiseerde reddingsdienst bestaat. Het strand met de "Groene Vlag" moet bovendien zijn uitgerust met horecapunten en speeltuinen voor het vertier van groot en klein. De ondiepe zandkust, het fijne zand, de goed georganiseerde reddingsdienst en de accommodatie maken ISOLAVERDE tot de ideale plek voor een gezinsvakantie.

he Isamar, Isaresidence and Barricata end-of-season event was an unforgettable evening. As tradition now dictates, on 16th September at Barricata and 23rd September at Isamar, staff and guests bid farewell to summer with a huge party.

The Isaholidays Villages summer was chockfull of unforgettable moments, that deserve to be rounded off with an amazing end-of-summer party.

Doing the honours for the establishment, the Village directors, all the Isaholidays staff and entertainment teams led the evening with awards, music and dance. The main attraction of the evening was an almighty barbecue which served up delicious meat, accompanied by a sumptuous buffet of local specialities provided by our restaurants.

For our most loyal customers, the Party is an unmissable event, which coincides with the last week of the season, a really special week of holidays with its super-cheap prices and the chance to upgrade your stay to the most luxurious accommodation.

in Isamar en Barricata Vakantiedorpen e avond ter afsluiting van het seizoen van Isamar, Isaresidence en Barricata was onvergetelijk. Zoals onderhand gebruikelijk is, hebben Barricata en Isamar, respectievelijk 16 en 23 september, met alle gasten tijdens een grote party de zomer uitgeleide gedaan.

De zomer in de Vakantiedorpen Isaholidays had tal van onvergetelijke momenten, die bekroond zijn met een knalfeest als afscheid van de zomer.

De honneurs werden waargenomen door de Directeurs van de vakantiedorpen, de volledige Staf van Isaholidays en het Animatieteam, dat de avond heeft opgevrolijkt met prijsuitreikingen, muziek en dans. Het hoogtepunt van de avond, een reusachtige barbecue met heerlijk vlees en een rijkelijk buffet met plaatselijke specialiteiten uit onze restaurants.

Voor de vaste klanten is het Feest een onmisbaar gebeuren, dat plaatsvindt tijdens de laatste week van het seizoen, en wel een zeer speciale week dankzij de zeer gunstige prijzen en de mogelijkheid tot upgrading naar de mooiste woningen.
