The Goal of this Project My project has been designed to support Upper School students in ISA who are having difficulties suiting themselves to the school community. It has not only been designed to get better grades, but to maximize the potential of the students to have them learn in the best quality community. I would like to create a community where it enables students to use best of their abilities.

11 ways to become an effective student The significance of number 11 [Number Eleven possesses the qualities of intuition, patience, honesty, sensitivity, and spirituality, and is idealistic. (Finney)]

1. Self decisions A student should be able to make a decision based on his/her ideas. A thoughtful choice that is based on his/her knowledge or value, not just following what the other people are doing. Teachers are interested in the ideas of the individuals 2. Positive thinking Based on the survey results, it appeared that many teachers would like positive thinkers. A student who is able to react positively to his/her stress, and could encourage him/herself to study. 3. Devoted to work An ideal student is someone who is able to do best of his/her ability and is committed to every work he/she does.

4. Courteous An ideal student will act politely to teachers and students. It not only makes the teachers and the students feel better, but also makes the entire school community a comfortable place. 5. Communicative Participating in class discussions enables students to widen their views. By cooperating with others, they are able to learn something new. They should also seek help when needed. 6. Organized Better organization will lead to the improvement in learning skills. For example an effective use of agenda is one way to organize the school life. 7. See the essence Of course, teachers do except students to get good grades, but what they are more looking for is the essence of the work. One teacher said that his/her ideal student is someone who cares about ideas, more than grades.

8. Curiosity Teachers prefer to have students who show interest in their fields. Ideal students represent enthusiasm and furthermore, enjoy the subject. 9. Punctual Students should arrive to classes punctually and well prepared with all homework done. All assignments should be handed in before the deadlines, and should review for tests if necessary. 10. Respect Respecting the other people is one of the important factors, especially here in ISA. Since we all come from different cultures, we should respect each other’s value. The cultural difference is not the only thing, but we should also respect the service from teachers, and the education we receive. 11. Challenging A student should keep on challenging something that is difficult. Try to take risks. By committing hard work, student is able to maximize his/her potential.
