We have had a great summer in the Community Education office! We have wrapped up many of our summer programs and are in the process of finishing our fall program guide. With the revamping of the High/Middle School parking ramp it has been interesting to get into those buildings. We first and foremost want to thank you for your patience throughout the summer with that process. We have been able to offer many different options of recreation, enrichment, and trips but we would love to be able to offer more. If you have an idea of something you would like to offer to the community please let the Community Education office know. With everyone wanting to get back together we are looking for some new ideas to be able to offer.
The Litchfield Community Theatre presentation of Cinderella was a great success! We were able to host over 900 people in the Bernie Aaker Auditorium during the four shows. We will be hosting a show this winter as well and are looking forward to this production! Our office has had some tough goodbyes as of late as our Programs Coordinator Janaye Prieve and our Community Education Secretary Emily Bratz have both accepted new positions. As they both move on to their new adventures we should all say thank you. We have hired Ashlyn McGraw as our Community Education Secretary, and she has been doing great in her transition from working in the Middle School. We are in the process of hiring a new Programs Coordinator so you can look forward to seeing someone new in the office the next time you stop in. Thank you all for the great summer and we look forward to seeing you this fall. Grant Solem Director of Community Education
