ISELA EDITH LOPEZ ( ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN PORTFOLIO )

TWO THOUSAND FOURTEEN

( ABOUT ME )

MY NAME IS ISELA LOPEZ. I AM A GRADUATE FROM THE ENVIRONMENTAL + DESIGN PROGRAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO, WITH AN EMPHASIS IN ARCHITECTURE. AS A YOUNG DESIGNER, I HAVE PRIMARILY DEVELOPED MY SKILLS AS AN ARCHITECT. MY EDUCATION AT CU ALLOWED ME TO IMMERSE MYSELF IN VARIED DISCIPLINES, SUCH AS URBAN PLANNING, RESEARCH-BASED DESIGN, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHIC DESIGN. I AM FIERCLY PASSIONATE ABOUT ALL THINGS DESIGN. I BELIEVE STRONGLY IN LOOKING BEYOND THE ARCHITECTURE. I STRIVE TO CREATE STRONG RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN FUNCTION, EXPERIENCE AND DETAIL. I AM ADAPTABLE, MUCH LIKE MY DESIGNS, AND AM COMFORTABLE WORKING OUTSIDE OF MY COMFORT ZONE. I BELIEVE, AT MY CORE, THAT THE BEST RESULTS OFTEN COME FROM UNEXPECTED AND/OR UNCONVENTIONAL MEANS. I FIND FUFILLMENT IN GUIDING PROJECTS FROM THEIR CONCEPTUAL STAGES THROUGH TO COMPLETION AS DETAILED, FUNCTIONAL DESIGNS. I HOPE YOU ENJOY MY WORK.
