1. HOSTS / HOSTESSES Afair works with pleasant and presentable personalities with a wide range of communicational skills who project themselves into any situation and are of benefit each time. In word and deed, they stand side by side with guests and organizers of events. All staff is trained by Afair internal trainers who themselves are very experienced hosts and hostesses (supervisors). Please find attached a number of set cards of some of our hostesses for a first general impression of the content of our hostess file. Our staff contains of these profiles: ¾

Hosts / hostesses A big smile, hospitable, presentable, in one word: amicable people. They are your contact with facilitating services on the spot and know their way around in exhibitionand conference centers and event locations. In short: people who take care of any ractical burdens you may have.

Sales promoters As energetic, motivated, commercial and professional employees they will become one with your company, product or service. In stores, at fairs and events they demonstrate all the ins and outs with flair and captivate their audience into this atmosphere of enthusiasm. Our employees demonstrate and actively sell with or without sales targets.

Organization assistants Experienced, capable and versatile on all fronts. Professional coordinators, active people with pragmatic talents who can be deployed anywhere. They have extensive knowledge of not just the building or terrain in question but also of the city hosting the event. They function as receptionists and operators and refer visitors or participants to the right person to be contacted. They manage agendas and are the contact person for exhibitors. They are the indispensable support for organizers of fairs, conferences or events

Supervisors Authentic supervision with a strong natural presence through years of experience. Guiding, directive and supporting. When a large number of host(esse)s is operating at the same time, our supervisors will ensure a smooth channeling of affairs whilst constantly monitoring the quality of staff and means. They check on working hours and allocate breaks. Also if you decide to employ your own people, a short briefing of one of Afairs experienced supervisors will be sufficient to guarantee optimal results.

Translators Presentable multi-linguist hostesses or hosts with a pleasant personality. Translation with flair and fluency into Dutch, English or the required foreign language. Besides the language our host(esse)s will be adverse with the culture of your customers in order to get the message across as you originally intended. In this manner Afair covers any targeted group at all events.

Surcharges Project management 10% hostess hours 10% of hostess hours Lunch expenses*: To be provided by the exhibitor* Dinner expenses**: To be provided by the exhibitor** Travel expenses for events within Amsterdam € 18,25 *** Uniform rental expenses (including dry-clean) € 14,75 Language fee (other than Dutch and English): € 2,30 Per hour per language *Lunch is mandatory at 4 or more working hours starting before and ending after 12.00 hrs. The hostess is allowed a half hour lunch break. If this is not the arrangement, Afair will charge € 10,50 for lunch costs. **Dinner is mandatory at 4 or more working hours starting before and ending after 18.00 hrs. The hostess is allowed an hour dinner break. If this is not the arrangement, Afair will charge € 15,00 for dinner costs. *** Per day per person Working hours A minimum shift of four consecutive hours per day per hostess is required. The working hours stated in the confirmation letter are binding. It is possible for shorter or longer hours to be worked up to a difference of one hour per day. Deviations of more than one hour are only possible with prior agreement of the hostess. Briefing The hostess(es) can be briefed in advance. The briefing will be charged against above mentioned rates. Request time span / Cancellation Requests for a hostess need to be submitted four weeks before the start of the event. In case a request is placed within those four weeks, Afair will (depending on the availability of hostesses) charge a last minute fee. In this case conference will take place before order confirmation will be made. In case of cancellations within four weeks to one week prior to the start of the event an amount of 50% of the invoice will be charged. In case of cancellations after this date an amount of 100% of the invoice will be charged (with deduction of lunch, dinner, uniform and travel expenses). Payment 100% of the advance invoice has to be settled one week before the beginning of the event. The remainder (in case of overtime) has to be paid within 14 days after the event.
