Bhindi Fry Ingredients ▢3 tbsp oil ▢15 bhindi / okra (chopped) ▢1 tsp cumin / jeera ▢2 onion (cubed) ▢¼ tsp turmeric / haldi ▢½ tsp red chilli powder ▢½ tsp coriander powder ▢½ tsp salt ▢¼ tsp Granny’s Spice Mix ▢½ tsp coriander leaves

Method 1. Add 3 tbsp oil to a heated Kadhai and 1tsp jeera. 2. One the cumin seed pops, add 2 onions chopped and sauté on medium flame cooking all the sides. 3. once the onion changes colour and cooks completely, add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp salt. 4. sauté on low flame till it turn aromatic. furthermore, keeping the flame on low, add 2 tbsp of Granny’s Spice mix. 5. mix well till everything combines well with masala and starts to release oil. 6. Add in the sliced bhindi and give a good mix. 7. cover and simmer. 8. finally, serve bhindi fry with coriander leaves on top.

Masala Paratha

Method 1. firstly, in a large bowl take 2½ cup wheat flour and add ¾ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp Granny’s Spice Mix, ¼ tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp cumin powder. 2. Also add 1 tbsp kasturi methi, 1 tsp ghee and 1 tsp salt. 3. Crumble and mix well making sure the spices are well combined. And add 1 cup hot water and mix with the spoon. 4. knead the dough well-adding water as required and grease the dough with oil and rest for 15 minutes. 5. knead the dough again slightly and pinch a ball sized dough and dust with wheat flour and roll to small disc. 6. spread 1 tsp ghee and spread uniformly. 7. form a bundle forming a ball sized dough, roll it in a slightly thick circle like chapati or paratha. 8. Now on a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute. 9. furthermore, when the base is partly cooked, flip the masala paratha. Also, spread ½ tsp oil / ghee and press slightly both the sides. 10. flip again once or twice till both the sides are cooked properly. finally, serve masala paratha with raita and pickle.

Cauliflower Fry

Method 1. Add 3 tbsp oil or ghee to a heated Kadhai on low flame followed by 1tsp cumin seeds. 2. One the cumin seed pops, add separated florets of one whole cauliflower and sauté on medium flame cooking all the sides. 3. once the cauliflower florets changes colour and cooks completely, add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp salt. 4. sauté on low flame till it turn aromatic. furthermore, keeping the flame on low, add 2 tbsp of Granny’s Spice mix. 5. mix well till everything combines well with masala and starts to release oil. 6. cover the pan with lid and simmer. Add some chopped coriander leaf and give a good mix. finally, serve the hot Cauliflower fry.

▢ 1 cauliflower (separate the florets in small sizes) ▢½ Kasthuri Methi ▢3 tsp Ghee or oil ▢¼ tsp turmeric / haldi ▢½ tsp red chilli powder ▢salt to taste ▢½ tsp Granny’s spice mix ▢½ tsp coriander powder ▢2 tbsp coriander leaves

Tips for healthy lifestyle! 1.Choose whole-grain bread and not refined bread. 2. Drink plenty of water in a day. 3. Add Greek yogurt to your diet. 4. Avoid eating too much oily food or junk food that contains unhealthy grease. Say yes to baking than oil frying. 5. Increase your protein intake for the day. Add healthy supplements like dal, pulses, grains that are rich in proteins. 6.Try at least one new healthy recipe per week. So, that you don’t get bored of eating just a single recipe in a week. 7. Aloo-Ki-Sabji 20 Minutes to Cook | Makes 4 Servings | 10 Minutes to Prep Great cooking is about being inspired by the wholesomeness of the spices, when you combine herbs and spices with your dish ingredients, that would be the best dish you'd ever cook! Granny’s Spice Mix | 12


Method 1. Firstly, in a pressure cooker take 5 potatoes to boil, and add 1 tsp salt and enough water. 2. Cover the pressure cook for 3 whistles or until the aloo is cooked . 3. Cool the boiled potatoes completely, peel the skin and mash slightly. keep them aside for a while. 4. In a large kadhai heat 2 tbsp oil. add 1 bay leaf, 1 inch cinnamon, 1 tsp cumin and 2 chillies to sauté until the spices turn aromatic. 5. Further, add 1 onion and sauté well until onions turn golden brown. 6. Keeping the flame low, add ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder and ¾ tsp Granny’s Spice Mix. 7. Add 2 tomato and sauté until the tomato turns soft and mushy. 8. Add boiled potato, 1 tsp kasuri methi and 1 tsp salt and sauté for a minute until the aloo is coated well. 9. further, add 1½ cup water and mix well adjusting the consistency. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the oil separates. 10. Add 2 tbsp coriander leaf to garnish. finally, enjoy aloo-ki-sabji .

Bread Tikki

Method 1. Use any bread (Brown or White) of your choice. Firstly, cut the sides of bread. 2. Further, crumble the bread slices as small as possible using the knife. 3. Add finely chopped onions and mashed boiled potatoes to the mixture. 4. Furthermore, additionally add 1 tbsp salt, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ Kasthuri Methi, ¼ tsp turmeric / haldi, ½ tsp red chilli powder and mix well. 5. Add 2 tbsp coriander leaves and some water or ghee to adjust the consistency 6. Combine well to form a dough. Add in more bread or bread crumbs if there is too much moisture. 7. Use your hands to knead the dough and make sure to have a non-sticky dough. 8. Further, make round shaped tikki greasing hands with oil. as they help to prevent from dough sticking to hands. 9. Deep fry or pan fry on the pan using oil or ghee. Alternatively, bake them if you are diet conscious. 10. Stir occasionally without breaking the cutlets and fry till the cutlets turn golden brown on medium flame. Finally, serve bread cutlet with tomato sauce or mayonnaise.

Pav Bhaji 15 Minutes to Cook | Makes 4 servings | 20 Minutes to Prep

Method 1. Firstly, in a large kadai heat 1 tbsp butter and add vegetables then cook by covering the pan with lid and mash well. 2. Now add 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp Granny’s spicemix, 1 tsp kasturi methi and 2 tbsp coriander leaves. 3. heat a tbsp of butter and add ¼ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp Granny Spice mix. 4. Also add 1 tbsp coriander leaves, 1 chopped onion and sauté well. 5. Now add boiled and mashed potatoes and cook well for 5 minutes. Add some water to adjust the consistency of Bhaji. 6. finally, bhaji with butter toasted pav, sliced onions and garnish with coriander leaf.

▢1 tbsp + 1 tbsp butter ▢3 tomatoes (finely chopped) ▢¼ cup peas ▢½ capsicum (finely chopped) ▢2 potato (boiled & mashed) ▢1 tsp salt ▢1 tsp + ¼ tsp i red chilli powder ▢¼ tsp turmeric / haldi ▢1 tsp + ½ tsp Granny’s Spice Mix. ▢1 tsp + 1 tsp kasuri methi. ▢2 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped) ▢1 tsp ginger garlic paste ▢1 onion (finely chopped) ▢½ lemon juice ▢water to adjust consistency To Toast Pav: ▢8 pav / bread roll ▢4 tsp butter ▢½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder ▢4 tsp coriander

Dal Fry

Method 1. Firstly in a pressure cook add ¾ cup yellow moong dal and 3 cup water and give 5 whistles to the cooker on medium flame. 2. Now in another kadhai heat 1 tbsp ghee and splutter 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp jeera, 1 dried red chilli, few curry leaves and pinch of hing. 3. Add in 1 onion (finely chopped) followed by 1 tsp red chilli powder and sauté well. 4. Further add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp Granny’s spice mix and ½ tsp coriander powder and sauté on low flame till it turns aromatic. 5. Additionally add 1 chopped tomato and sauté till it turns soft and mushy. 6. Add the cooked dal along with 1 tsp salt and give a good mix.

Ingredient s ▢¾ cup yellow moong dal ▢3½ cup water ▢1 tbsp ghee ▢1 tsp mustard ▢1 tsp cumin seeds ▢1 dried red chilli (broken) ▢few curry leaves ▢pinch of hing ▢1 onion (finely chopped) ▢¼ tsp turmeric / haldi ▢½ tsp red chilli powder ▢½ tsp coriander powder ▢1 tomato (finely chopped) ▢1 tsp salt ▢¼ tsp Granny’s spice mix. ▢1 tbsp chopped coriander ▢1 tsp kasturi methi

7. Simmer for 5 minutes or till dal turns smooth and absorbs flavour. 8. Now add ¼ tsp coriander and 1 tsp kasturi methi. Finally, serve dal fry with hot jeera rice.
