Benjamin A. Loomis The founder and President of Amble Resorts, Benjamin Loomis has two decades of experience in the architecture, construction, and real estate industries. Mr. Loomis graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development and a Masters of Science in Architectural Studies. Immediately prior to starting Amble Resorts, he worked with InterCapital Partners, LLC, where he managed the development of over $200 million of residential and mixed-use projects spread over multiple geographic markets and product types. Prior to that, he worked as an architect in Chicago for Tigerman McCurry Architects and other firms, as well as in construction in his home state of Alabama.

Isla Palenque contains almost a mile and a half of beach, ranging from intimate sandy nooks and private pebble beaches to exotic, zebra-striped volcanic sand.
Educational Tours Gain a deeper understanding of the island’s history, wildlife, geology, and the sustainable practices implemented to keep it pristine. Classes will rotate throughout the year as specialists and biologists visit to do research and educate.
Whale Watching Dolphins and whales migrate to the warm waters of the Gulf of Chiriqui to mate and breed each year. Watch 100 ton whales arch straight out of the water and acrobatic dolphins spin.
