A CUP OF HISTORY

We are proud to exclusively serve Julius Meinl coffee at Isleworth. Its origins began in 1862, when Julius Meinl opened a spice shop in downtown Vienna, Austria, where he sold green coffee beans, cocoa, tea, spices, rice and sugar. His son, Julius Meinl II, developed a coffee roasting process where the beans no longer came into contact with coal gases, freeing the coffee of aftertaste and keeping its full, natural aroma. Over time, Julius Meinl became the largest coffee roaster and importer of Europe and is now selling coffees and teas in more than 70 countries, including the United States. Its original motto, "How may I serve you?" remains to this day and fifth generation family members are still actively in the business.
