The GPA is based on a 4-point scale with a premium of 1.0 for IB Diploma Higher Level subjects reflecting their status as Honours courses. Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated at the end of G11 and 12. The GPA is calculated by dividing the number of GPA points by the number of courses taken. The final GPA is the weighted mean of the two GPAs.

Please note that ISL Qatar does not utilize a letter-based grading scale or percentages. The equivalences provided above are additionally not universally recognized or accepted and, instead, are provided to help outside educational institutions gain an appreciation of our 1-7 grading scale. PREDICTED GRADES This year, ISL Qatar has changed their predicted grade policy to ensure greater accuracy. All predicted grades are empirical and determined through a collaborative process.
