Intimate Artist’s Loft in a historic 1870 East Village building that was renovated by two celebrated photographers and a well know model/actress. The Italian owned loft is located in East Village, a trendy neighborhood on the East Side of Lower Manhattan. Tompkins Square Park (shown opposite) is just one block or three minutes walk away.
NEIGHBOURHOOD:
One of the most iconic neighbourhoods in Manhattan, East Village is filled with a creative community spirit and vintage vibes. If residents aren’t perusing vintage stores or boutique shops, they’re experiencing the neighborhood’s popular dive bars, pubs, and thriving culinary scene. On the lower end of Manhattan, East Village is known for its very happening nightlife scene and incredible variety of businesses to explore.
The public transportation in East Village is something to envy, with so many bus stops and subway stations to get you where you need to be in the city. Residents love being outdoors at running paths on the East River and enjoy the neighborhood’s largest green space, Tompkins Square Park, a historic space complete with, live music and a local farmers market. Though the neighborhood doesn’t house high rises, it’s known for its pre-war walk-ups, giving this neighborhood a historic, architecturally trendy vibe for renters looking in East Village.
