Given site offer limited perimeter with 225 sqm to design a ‘sandwhich’ building or in between exisiting building. The built elemtsn are mix of structural components of timber and concrete shear wall to create visible layered of components .

Within these 3 storeys of building , its allows the idea of dualism between void and solid , creating transparency of public and private between the library itself. The void plays as primary core of the building to stimulate the program more efficience. The interplay between program and building components creates the free flowing of circulation and seperation of spaces more delightfully.

Primary intention is to merge recreation park and indoor activites as one hierachy. Ideally , the crucial design norms are to allow open plan offering maximum space for the sports program and faclities to be fully fuction. Spatial intersection of spaces to

In Germany the topic of economic production is in the news,because housing cost have risen enormously. In metropolitan area, such as Berlin, Munich or Hamburg people can’t afford to rent or buy homes anymore. The cities have grown and subsequently became denser and denser, this is where housing is becoming scarce and expensive. Thus the need for affordable housing is rising, while the cities have limited resources of land.

Experimenting with a new type of social housing, adding homes on top of commercial base that integrates live-work units. The construction consists primarily of Kerto LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) structure to distribute the weight of the new building on top of the old building. A careful analysis of the foundations lead to a strategy for underpinning to counterweight the load of the on-top-building. The Kerto LVL technology offer flexible and rapid installation of flooring panels system that gently sits on top of roof level. This installation offers an independent structure that allow subdivision of space in between of open plan, interplay between shared spaces and individual units. The qualities that focus on collective space to enhanced the richness of community from different background.

The prefab structure are conveyed by trailer from the industrial manufacture to the site to be assemble. In this huge project proposal, that consist of 3 storey-extension within 875sqm, a multiple delivery of stages are required to be transported to arrange a logical sequence. Structure are lifted by mobile crane and minimal man power are required to assemble building anatomy, refraining using heavy machineries equipment that generates loud noise to local neighbourhood.

With the given 105 sqm of spaces , it was maximum compact and difficult to fit 40 dekstop , counter table , sofas and admin room. Choice of suitable furniture need to take into account aswell , the selection of desktop table need to be less than 1100m width to reduce the plot of area occupied.
