QUIET TIMES

Please do not make excessive noise after 11:00 pm.

SMOKING

Absolutely no smoking or vaping is allowed inside the unit, on the balcony, or in the common areas of Pier 57. This policy is strictly enforced.

BALCONIES

Please do not hang beach towels or clothing over the balcony railings to dry.

SAFETY INFORMATION

EMERGENCY EXIT

There is a staircase leading up to the rooftop and down to street level. When exiting our apartment, turn left. The stairs will be on your right.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

A hand-held fire extinguisher is located in the utility closet on the shelf above the washer and dryer. Larger fire extinguishers are located next to the elevators in each floor.

GAS AND WATER SHUT-OFF VALVES

The gas and water shut-off valves for unit 502 are located in the alcove almost directly across the hall from the unit’s front door. The yellow valve handle is for gas; the orange is for water. The valves are open when the handles are lined up with the pipes, and closed when the handles are perpendicular.

SMOKE & CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR

A Nest Protect smoke and CO2 detector is located on the ceiling in the entry way. If it detects a hazard, a voice will clearly call attention to the danger and a loud alarm will sound. The detector is battery-powered, so will not be affected by a power outage.
