Program Day 1 Arrival and settling into hotel in the Alessandria area for 4 nights. Dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 2 - Alba, Langhe The first stop on this tour is the famous Langhe, the extraordinary hillside landscape full of vineyards, farms, castles and fortresses which makes for a truly unforgettable experience. In the morning, a visit to Alba, the city of one hundred towers and the heart of truffle territory. The afternoon will be spent discovering the hazelnuts of Piedmont with a visit to a rural production with its crops. Tasting session with hazelnuts and home-made cakes: "Nocciola IGP Tonda Gentile delle Langhe". Roasted hazelnuts, hazelnuts covered in chocolate (from October to March), hazelnut cakes and biscuits produced locally.

Dinner in the hotel and overnight accommodation.

Day 3 After a large breakfast in the hotel we set off to discover Monferrato, another vine-clad area of Piedmont, to immerse ourselves in the tasty, striking atmosphere of the Canelli wine cellar, also known as the "Underground Cathedral" where sparkling wine is produced, using the traditional production method from Piedmont.

Stop at a traditional distillery nearby with an opportunity to taste grappa.

Dinner at a family restaurant in the countryside with wine tasting.

Return to the hotel and overnight accommodation.

Day 4 After a large breakfast in the hotel we leave on a guided tour that takes us to Casale Monferrato where we can admire the Cathedral, the monuments from the Renaissance and one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe. We then continue until we reach Desana, the rice centre of Piedmont. Visit to a rice field with lunch. Excellent rice is grown in the farm, such as Carnaroli, Baldo, Vialone Nano and Balilla. After the visit, an obligatory traditional Risotto is on the menu to keep our appetites at bay.

Day 3 Half day guided tour in Turin - In the morning we admire the center of Turin on a city sightseeing. The capital of the region Piedmont is the Italian capital of Baroque style and has so many attractions that you simply must have been there once in your life. When they built the impressive baroque palaces, that make the old town a true openair museum, Turin had, however, only about 50,000 inhabitants, but it was the residence of the powerful Duke of Savoy. Seize the opportunity to discover marvelous squares, such as the elegant Piazza San Carlo, dating back to the 16th C. and magnificent coffeeshops with the typical Belle Epoque atmosphere.

The afternoon is at leisure. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 4 Full day tour guide Sestri Levante with Rapallo and Portofino Breakfast and departure for Sestri Levante, a charming village located between the exclusive Portofino and the Cinque Terre UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 2 Departure for the fishermen village Camogli, famous for its lovely marina and the old fishing boats. From Camogli we take the boat and reach the secluded bay of San Fruttuoso with its enchanting seashore Abbey, founded in the 10th century by Greek monks. After discovering the abbey and its interesting history we continue by boat to Portofino. Once a lovely fishermen village, Portofino is now an exclusive location, the place to be for the international jet set. The island is dominated by a beautiful Baroque palace, with a lush Italian garden , laid out on ten top-down terraces. Followed by transfer to Isola Pescatori. The only Borromeo island to be inhabited all year round, with a small village of fifty inhabitants full of narrow, winding alleys. As its name tells us, fishing is still an important activity. Novara is in an area that has grown rice for centuries, and is not far from the famous "Colline Novaresi" vineyards. After visiting the town rich in shops and coffee bars, with roads that still have their Roman layout and traditional porphyry paving, a coach will take you to Ghemme/Sizzano for a trip through the courtyards, roads and alleyways of a Castle; to end with a tasting of wine, cold cuts and the typical cheeses of the Novara and Ossola areas.. Day 4 After breakfast, departure by coach to the charming Lake Orta, showing you breathtaking views of hills and mountains and on to interesting monuments and medieval and Renaissance architecture. Visit of romantic Orta San Giulio and then on by boat to Pella, small village on the western shore of the Lake. Departure by small train to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso standing on a rocky granite cliff spur over the lake called "The Cusio balcony". At a historic shipyard on the banks of the Lake, a tour of the collection of vintage boats by "Riva", a brand that is renowned for its prestigious, elegant boats and luxury yachts. The shipyard was inaugurated in 1842 by shipwright Pietro Riva and became popular with wealthy clients of the calibre of Brigitte Bardot. It was considered to be one of the best examples of Italian high-end products.

There follows a trip to Sulzano, where a private boat will leave for a 50-minute panoramic tour of Lake Iseo' s three islands: Monteisola, S.Paolo and Loreto. A stop is scheduled at one of the villages on Monteisola, the largest lake island in Europe. After the visit, return to the hotel.

The journey by funicular offers charming panoramic views on its way to the beautiful upper city of Bergamo Alta. A stroll along the narrow medieval streets will reveal its rich heritage of personalities who lived there in the past: the Palazzo della Ragione in Piazza Vecchia, the ancient seat of the town hall; opposite, the white "New Palazzo"; Piazza del Duomo is the site of the Baptistery, the Colleoni Chapel with its splendid façade, the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica and the Cathedral.

The visit ends with a traditional lunch at a restaurant in the upper city. Free time followed by return to the hotel.

Milan upside down Milan is evolving. It changes every season but still preserves that "Lady of the North" charm that has confirmed it as capital of northern Italy for a millennium and, in recent years, as Europe's second most loved destination. In recent years Milan can be visited looking up at the skyscrapers designing its new skyline, in the Porta Nuova district. Day 4 Departure after breakfast by bus to Limone, an ancient village with its picturesque corners has preserved the typical atmosphere of a fishing village. Walk including a visit to the Lemonaia Museum with a tasting of Lemoncello and other lemon products. At the end, meeting at the port for the transfer to Malcesine by boat for the visit. Surrounding the ancient Scaliger Castle and the historic Palazzo dei Capitani, the town retains part of its original medieval appearance of a village protected by walls. Day 5 After breakfast, departure for Peschiera and Valleggio. The guide will introduce you to the fortified town of Peschiera with its gates, walls, squares, buildings and strategic and defence canals. The excursion continues with a lunch at Valeggio Sul Mincio, where you will taste the famous "nodo d'amore" (love knot), the delicious tortellini. Day 6 After breakfast departure by boat to Lazise, walk in this town overlooking the Verona side of Lake Garda, surrounded by the walls of the Scaligeri of the XIV century, the fortress and the medieval castle. Continue with the bus to Bardolino, one of the most popular towns on Lake Garda, then visit Garda, one of the most picturesque towns on the lake at the foot of the fortress overlooking the village, and Torri del Benaco which has ancient origins dating back to prehistoric times.

Day 2 - Urbino - Fratte Rosa and the traditional Terracotta, Mondavio and the Rocca Roversca.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Urbino (the ideal city of Renaissance), for a visit to the splendid Palazzo Ducale, a vital and cultural center of the court of Federico, today a Unesco heritage site. In addition to being one of the most important examples of Renaissance architecture, the building is home of the National Gallery of the Marche and preserves works of great value by artists such as Raphael, Piero della Francesca, Paolo Uccello, Melozzo da ForlĂŹ, etc. Crossing the ancient streets and alleyways of the city you will pass between the Cathedral, the Churches of San Domenico, Piazza della Repubblica, where every corner tells a page of history. Free lunch. In the afternoon we will continue in Fratte Rosa, a historic village famous for its earthenware: we will visit an artisan workshop where tradition will be told and the techniques of working with terracotta will be shown. Short transfer to Mondavio to visit the Renaissance village, with the beautiful and imposing Rocca Roveresca, designed and built by the Sienese architect Francesco di Giorgio Martini. Inside it has been set up a reenactment museum that reproduces the scenes of the life of the time and the armory of the Rocca, a short walk in the historic center with the historic Palazzo del Municipio and the convent of San Francesco. There are many things to see: the ovoid tower, which is an element of the military fortress built by Francesco di Giorgio Martini, many churches including the Cathedral, San Francesco, Santa Maria della Misericordia, etc., the Palazzo Pubblico, and the beautiful Teatro Comunale, which still preserves nineteenth-century theatrical machines. Lunch in a typical restaurant to taste the delicious carbonara. Day 2 Excursion to Lari (beautiful village - one of the most beautiful in Italy, famous for its cherries) In the morning, we drive together to Lari, a small, still secret place in the province of Pisa. Famous for its fort and wonderful cherry liqueur, we would like to kidnap you to explore this picturesque village with us. You will visit the pasta factory of the Martelli family; here the traditional food par excellence is still produced by hand. During a typical "alla italiana" lunch, you will taste the spaghetti made in the pasta factory!

Afterwards, to digest, you may also try the cherry liqueur and then really dangle the soul with an ice-cream break (3 scoops) in an "ice cream parlour" in Lari. Return and dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 Excursion to Pieve a Nievole and visit to a Frantoio. After breakfast, departure to Pieve di Nievole, where we will visit an oil mill. You take a tour with a carriage (pulled by a tractor) to reach the oil mill. Did you know how the olives are pressed or the difference between "extra virgin" and normal olive oil? Here, you have the possibility to get to the bottom of it all at a tasting with freshly pressed olive oil. As a souvenir, take one bottle of 500 ml olive oil per room with a personalised label. Day 2 They have a tour guide from the hotel and drive to Lake Trasimeno where they have time to stroll in Castiglione del Lago.

The cozy town of Castiglione del Lago has just under 16,000 inhabitants, this makes it the largest town on the lake and the best starting point to explore it.

Originally, the whole city was located on an island. The water level of the lake is, however, since the Middle Ages steadily declining, which is why today a hilly city on the mainland has lagged behind.

You will visit a Cinta Senese breed (typical pig breed) with Light Lunch, drinks included and Cinta Senese products.

In the afternoon, do a cooking class where you can learn how to make the pizza dough.

The traditional urban craft activities are composed of various industries that are represented in this association, including the weaving "Giuditta Brozzetti "with fine hand-woven fabrics and lace that you will visit.

In the afternoon you will learn all about antipasti in a cooking class and make crostini with Maghetti (liver spread), cauliflower, Arvoltolo (typical Umbrian sweet or salty pizzetta). This includes the production of the liver spread, the cauliflower spread and the production and baking of Arvoltolo. During the course the interpreter will be at your disposal.

Drive in the late afternoon to the hotel with final dinner.

Day 4 Let's go with the tour guide from the hotel towards Orvieto where you have time to stroll and enjoy. In the late morning you will meet to visit the tuff entrances. You will not come out of wonder anymore.

A unique light lunch at the Pasticceria Adriano awaits you, amidst the underground passageways. In the afternoon you will learn all about starters, tagliatelle, cappelletti and homemade ravioli during a cooking class.

They make the pasta dough and prepare the fillings for the ravioli.

Day 5 The tour guide leaves from the hotel for Assisi followed by a halfday tour. Assisi extends on the slopes of Mount Subasio above the rivers Topino and Chiascio. Assisi is much more than the hometown of Francis of Assisi. Here you will also find a collection of extraordinary works of art. Giotto, Cimabue and Simone Martini produced their greatest masterpieces here.

The oldest part of the town is protected by a defensive system with a total of 8 entrances, surrounded by a long and wellpreserved city wall that ends at the two castles Roggia Maggiore and Roggia Minore. The old town itself, with its narrow side streets and alleys, always offers surprising views and views. Visit the basilica (headphones included) before heading to an old abbey near Perugia.

Day 2 - Lanciano, Costa dei Trabocchi.

Breakfast at the hotel and tour of Lanciano, one of the most beautiful art cities of the region, famous for its markets, which draw traders from all over the Mediterranean. Light meal on a trabocco (an ald fishing machine). In the afternoon, tour of the abbey San Giovanni in Venere, which stands on the foundations of a pagan temple dedicated to the goddess of love. Day 3 - Sulmona, Scanno.

Dinner in a typical butcher's shop in Cisternino: the butcher's shop restaurants of this city are a well-known tradition throughout the south of Italy for the goodness of their meat!

Day 4 After breakfast, departure on a guided tour of the city of Bari.

Overlooking the Adriatic Sea, it is an open door to the nearby East with the old city protected by the Svevo Castle. Lunch in a typical estate where a cheese-maker will demonstrate how mozzarella is produced and allow you to taste it while it is still warm. In the afternoon, return to the hotel for the goodbye dinner with various starters, pizzas and desserts‌ all accompanied by the music and good cheer of a folk group.

Today we drive to Venosa, which has beautiful churches and a castle from the sixteenth century. The ancient city of the Italian Samnitans is also the birthplace of the Roman poet Horace.

Afterwards we return to Melfi driving through endless chestnut forests. The cityscape is characterised by red tiled roofs and narrow, shady alleys. The city wall, the cathedral and Porta Venosina are also worth seeing.

Lagopesole - Aliano - Day 4 (OR 3rd day for flight journey).

The Castel Lagopesole towers like an oversized monolith on a mountain over eight hundred metres high is visible from afar. The village served as a Byzantine granary before it was modified by the Normans. Staufer Friedrich II is regarded as the owner of the castle in its present form. The emperor, probably the most dazzling and fascinating ruler figure of his time, spent many summers here. The change in its interior of striped architectural styles and elements highlights different construction phases that alternated over the centuries. You then travel to Aliano in the Lucania badlands (Calanchi). The village became the scene of world literature through Carlo Levi's book "Christ stopped at Eboli".

Then, you reach the surroundings of Matera.

Matera - Day 5 (OR 4th day for flight journey).

Today you will visit the ancient city of Matera and its famous "Sassi" (stones): parts of the film "The Passion of Christ" were shot in the old cave settlements. The old town of Matera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and European Capital of Culture 2019. At noon you will have a typical focaccia snack. Free time in the afternoon.

Cosenza - Pizzo Calabro - Day 6 (OR 5th day for flight journey).

Today you travel further south and reach Calabria. The first stop is in one of its oldest cities: Cosenza. The 70,000 Cosentines are proud of the honorary title "Athens of Calabria". The university city has a lively cultural scene with literary cafés and the Teatro Rendano, and is a Naples-oriented city. The historic city centre is one of the most beautiful and oldest in Italy. Along the Tyrrhenian coast, you reach the charming fishing village of Pizzo Calabro. In addition to a historic town centre, the famous Piedigrotta cave church, which lies steeply above the sea, awaits you. Tropea - Capo Vaticano - Day 7 (OR 6th day for flight journey).

Day 5 - Mantova Breakfast. Visit to Mantua, the city of the Gonzaga dynasty. In the 15th and 16th centuries, it was one of the most important intellectual and artistic centres in northern Italy.

Day 6 - Verona - Sirmione Breakfast. Departure for Verona, one of the most important art cities in Veneto. Like an arm, this island reaches into Lake Garda and the water reflects back brightly. There will be a nice little boat trip around the islands of Sirmione (about 30 minutes). Day 3 Florence - Montecatini Terme After breakfast you will visit of Florence, whose historial city centre is one of UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. European town, between the 14th and the 16th century Florence astonished the world. Indeed, second only to Athens, Forence was a hotbed of creative minds who wanted to create a new culture. Dante, Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo, Brunelleschi, Donatello and the "divine" Michelangelo have left their mark in the streets, the marble, the magnificent palaces and the museums of this town, a legacy of mankind. In the afternoon you can visit the Uffizi museums (optional and as free visit, without local guide) or just go around the elegant shops and the popular markets in the small streets and squares.

Day 4 San Gimignano - Montepulciano - Rome After breakfast departure towards San Gimignano, a charming historic town set on a hill above Val d'Elsa, also called the Manhattan of the Middle Age. Well recognized from a distance because of its famous medieval towers. You will admire the beautiful view on the countryside and enjoy its flowered balconies and all the little shops. It historic centre is part of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards you go to Montepulciano for a tasting of excellent tuscan wines and farm products, such as pecorino cheese and salami. Late afternoon you will reach Rome.

Day 5 Rome Breakfast in hotel. Today you will make a "full immersion" in Ancient Rome, visiting the Capitoline Hill, symbol of Rome's power, which still serves as the seat of the city government, the Roman Forum, which was the centre of the ancient city; next to it the Imperial Forums were built later on. Particularly famous is Trajan's Column (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The Colosseum where in the past gladiatorial combats took place will seen from outside. The tour goes on with the Arch of Constantine and the Palatine. When it is time to have a break, we have arranged for you the typical Italian "Aperitivo" with a drink of Prosecco and some snacks in one of the most beautiful squares of Rome. Then the tour continue with the visit of the most fountains of Rome, such as Piazza della Repubblica with its Naiadi Fountain. Not far awa y stands Moses Fountain while the Fountain of Dioscuri is on the Quirinale Hill. Atop of the hill stands the Quirinale Palace, the presidential residency. From here we reach Trevi Fountain, Rome´s most renowned fountain.

According to tradition, if you throw a coin into the fountain, one day you will return to Rome. Not far away there are the famous Spanish Steps!

Day 6 Rome After breakfast, a vip-entrance has been arranged for you to visit of The Vatican Museums, Cappella Sistina and St. Peter's Basilica. This impressive construction had been built as mausoleum for Adrian and his family and later on it was converted into a papal fortress. During its centenarian history, it has been also used as a prison. Visit of the Vatican Museums: among the works of art there are for example the Lao koon group, the Belvedere Torso, masterpieces of the Greek art dating back to the I century BC. The Sistine Chapel, where the papal election takes place, contains masterpieces of Michelangelo, such as the Last Judgement. Of course you can not miss St. Peter's Cathedral, Christianity's biggest and most impressive church, with art works of Michelangelo and Bernini.

In front of it the fascinating St. Peter´s Square, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture. In the afternoon you will go outside of Rome, to the Albani hills area and Castel Gandolfo, the papal summer residence. Then go down to the Alban Lake, a volcanic lake. From here we can enjoy the stunning view of the various medieval towns with its castles. On the slopes is pleasantly situated Frascati, the famous city of wine.

Day 7 Arezzo - area Venice After breakfast you will leave Rome and go towards Northern Italy. On the way on you will make a nice stop in Arezzo (Tuscany) to visit the "Etruscan Town", where famous personalities have left their mark such as the poet Francesco Petrarca, Piero della Francesca and his frescoes in the Church of San Francesco, Giorgio Vasari, the great architect who built the Uffizi. Arezzo is mainly dedicated to handicraft as under the Etruscan and later the Roman rule. At that time Arezzo was famed for the handcrafted ceramics and metal. Today the town is renowned for the production of golden jewellery. The Antique market on Piazza Grande and the surrounding streets are very charming. In the surrounding we have organised for you a light lunch in a "locanda" of charme situated in the beautiful landscape of Tuscany. In the wine bar, you one can taste the best of Tuscan and Italian wines accompanied by little appetisers. Then transfer to hotel in area of Venice.

Day 8 Venice Breakfast in hotel. Then you will enjoy a guided walking tour of Venice. Fairytale beautiful, suspended between sea and sky, the town of the Doges welcomes visitors from all over the world. Venice owes most of its charm to the fairylike light lagoon scenery as well as its array of works of art created in both Western and Eastern style. The rest of the day is at our own disposal. If the return flight the day after leaves in the morning from Milan, you can visit Verona this afternoon.

A very important colony under the Roman Empire, later Verona was conquered by the Ostrogoths, the Langobards and the Franks.

Program Day 1 - Sorrento area Arrival on the Sorrento Peninsula, accommodation in hotel for 3 nights HB. Day 2 - Amalfi coast After breakfast, a trip to the so-called "Costiera amalfitana" (Unesco World Heritage Site), an area of great physical beauty and natural diversity. It has been intensively settled by human communities since the early Middle Ages. There are a number of towns such as Amalfi and Ravello with architectural and artistic works of great significance. The rural areas show the versatility of the inhabitants in adapting their use of the land to the diverse nature of the terrain, which ranges from terraced vineyards and orchards on the lower slopes to wide upland pastures.

Return to hotel in late afternoon for dinner.

Day 3 - Pompeii After breakfast, the morning is dedicated to a guided tour of Pompei (Unesco World Heritage Site). Pompei, the city buried by the great eruption of Vesuvius, is an impressive and revealing insight into life in antiquity. You will visit the Antiquarium, which contains documents about the city's history and articles of daily use as well as models of mills.

Afternoon at leisure and return to hotel for dinner.

Day 4 - Trani - Fasano / Cisternino area Breakfast and departure for Puglia. Along the way, a stop in Trani.

The architectural jewel of the city of Trani is its beautiful cathedral, also called the "queen of Apulian cathedrals." It is the highest expression of the Romanesque style in Apulia and stands before the square Swabian Castle, one of the most impressive structures built by Friedrich II. Arrival at hotel in Monopoli area, for 3 nights HB. Day 5 - Castellana Caves / Alberobello Breakfast and departure for a full day trip to Castellana and Alberobello. The long underground caves offer visitors a unique natural spectacle. You will penetrate about 1 km into the caves on a one-hour tour. We continue on to Alberobello, where a typical lunch is booked in a friendly restaurant in a real "Trullo". After lunch, we visit the town, capital of the round stone houses called "Trulli". There are more than one thousand trulli in the centre, which has been named a World Heritage Site.

Return to hotel in late afternoon and dinner.

Day 6 - Castel del Monte After breakfast, departure for Castel del Monte (Unesto World Heritage Site) where a local guide awaits you for the visit.

The Castel del Monte is an exquisite masterpiece of Swabian architecture, built by Friedrich III on one of the highest spots in the Murge. Here, Apulian masonry, the new court lifestyle, and classical inheritance come together. Afternoon free and return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7 - Matera and Altamura Breakfast and departure for full day excursion. Today we discover the ancient town Matera, famous for the so called "Sassi di Matera": cave dwellings of tufa stone laid on each other half bored into the rock walls. This is the most outstanding, intact example of a troglodyte settlement in the Mediterranean region, perfectly adapted to its terrain and ecosystem (Unesco World Heritage Site).

Then the visit continue to Altamura (the name means means 'High Walls'). Here we taste the exquisite focaccia (kind of white pizza).

Day 5 Today we drive from Florence to Venice through Pisa. Day 4 Pompeii - Naples After breakfast we start a guided tour of Pompeii, famous around the world for its archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman town was buried under 4 to 6 meters of volcanic ash in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. For lunch you will taste the famous Neapolitan pizza.

Day 5 Palermo Arrival in Palermo in the morning. Your guide will show you the hidden corners and the stunning beauty of the Sicilian capital.

Day 7 Mount Etna and its flavors Breakfast. Departure for an excursion to Mount Etna, which with its 3340m is Europe's highest and largest active volcano.

We will drive up from the southern side up to the Rifugio Sapienza at 1926 m. From there we start a pleasant walk through the spectacular lunar landscape of the Crateri Silvestri, originated from an eruption in 1892. Today you will have the opportunity to taste various local products such as honey, wine and much more at an agriturismo at the foot of Mount Etna and in a renowned winery.

Day 8 Catania - Taormina Breakfast. Guided tour of Catania, amazing baroque town whose cultural heritage is combined with a wonderful geographical position between Mount Etna and the crystal clear Ionian coast. In the afternoon we go to Taormina: after a nice walk in the picturesque alleys you will enjoy an aperitif in a unique location, on a terrace with stunning sea view.

Sicily and Malta two islands under the same sun This tour takes you to the southern islands of the Mediterranean sea, to discover their unique cultures. When you think of Italy, you probably think mostly of Roman ruins, but Sicily is a real melting pot of cultures. Over the centuries, the island was colonized by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Muslims, Normans, Spanish and the Bourbon Kingdom, before becoming Italian. You can still find the traces left behind: Greeks and Romans ruins together with Byzantine and Arab art all at once! The Phoenicians, the Carthaginians, the Romans and the Byzantines, all left their sites also on the Maltese Islands, which was actually an extension of Sicily till 1530: the conquerors in fact also governed the Maltese Islands till Charles V bequeathed Malta to the Knights, taking Malta through a new golden age. Day 2 After breakfast we visit Palermo, a history and art-packed city with its Cathedral and the Palazzo dei Normanni in which the precious Cappella Palatina is found. The art heritage and traditions of Palermo date back to ancient times. Dominated by different and contrasting cultures, the town and the region as a whole were a melting pot of cultures and the famous Cappella Palatina offers finest examples of oriental-style mosaics. In the afternoon we head to Monreale with its impressive ArabNorman cathedral and an astonishing Benedictine cloister with 228 decorated double columns.

Day 3 Breakfast and departure to explore the province of Trapani.

Erice, founded in the 9th century, is a charming location with beautiful views and has a medieval core which has been preserved intact. From here we enjoy a breathtaking view of Trapani, the Egadi Islands and the inland countryside. While strolling around the city, we will sample its famous marzipan in a local pastry shop. Later we continue to Segesta, with the ancient theatre, the only building enclosed by city walls where historical remains are still visible, and the temple.

Then we head to Agrigento for overnight. B&B. Day 4 After breakfast, a local guide will take you to discover "The Valley of the Temples" of Agrigento, an archaeological site which is one of the best examples of classic Greek civilization; it has been named a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO. The most famous temple, the Temple of Concord, is the bestpreserved building of the whole Magna Grecia. The trip resumes towards the eastern part of the island, reaching the area of Giardini Naxos-Letojanni-Roccalumera for check in at the hotel. 2 nights on B&B.

Day 5 Today you head out for Mount Etna, a 3340m high volcano that provides wonderful and fascinating view at all times, particularly in winter with its snow capped crater. The volcano is still active and along the 2000 metre journey you can admire a contrast-filled landscape with lava flows, brooms, chestnut trees, and vineyards. Afterwards in Zafferana Etnea a delicious sampling of honey-based-products is planned. Then you spend the rest of the day in the charming town of Taormina: old town boasts amazingly scenic views, especially from the ancient Theatre, the narrow picturesque streets, elegant boutique and craft shops.

Return to the hotel.

Day 6 Breakfast, check-out and departure for Catania. The old town is one of eastern Sicily's baroque jewels with the splendid Piazza Duomo and the Via dei Crociferi with its churches and convents. A visit to the fish market (every morning except Sundays) is a must-see. We head to Syracuse, the "finest and largest of all Greek cities" according to Cicero, to admire its splendid Greek theatre and the old town on the island of Ortigia. Not to miss are the Temple of Apollo and the Temple of Athena - the latter converted into a church by eraly christians and today cathedral of Syracuse, where remains of Greek architecture are still clearly visible.

Continue to the hotel in the southern part of Sicily. 1 night on B&B. Day 7 Early departure (according to ferry schedule) to bid farewell to magical Sicily and say "Hello" to Malta. First step is to visit the capital city - Valletta - which is rich in history and monuments.

This excursion will allow you to discover the Upper Barrakka Gardens that dominate the Grand Harbour, St. John's cocathedral, the cathedral museum as well as the oratory to view the famous Caravaggio masterpiece.

Day 8 In the morning, departure by coach towards Marfa to take the 30-minute-ferry for Mgarr, the main port of Gozo. You will have thus the occasion to pass by another island of the Maltese archipelago, Comino (1800 metres in length) on which only about ten people live. After arriving in Gozo, we will head for Dwejra Bay, an impressive natural site that includes the Fungus Rock, a huge cylindrical rock isolated at the entrance of the bay, an inland sea that links to the open sea through a natural opening. We will then move onto Rabat to visit its citadel and learn about history and traditions of the island. We then proceed towards Xlendi, one of Gozo's typical and picturesque fishing villages with a final stop at the Megalithic Temples of Ggantija: an impressive pre-historic monument.

Day 9 Today our first stop is Medina, the heart of the island, also known as the Silent City. The old capital is a true city-museum, entirely encircled with bastions set on a rocky outcrop, and a maze of alleys lined with patricians residences, baroque churches, convents and palaces. The next stop is the Ta' Qali crafts village allowing you to see local artisans at work developing typical objects (lace, weaving, silver filigree and blown glass) and where the potters will disclose their secrets.

The excursion will continue with a visit to the botanical gardens of San Anton, then to Mosta, with its famous parish church of the Assumption, a neo-classic building whose 67m high dome is one of the biggest in Europe.

Day 10 After breakfast transfer to Malta Airport.

Terms of Service 1. Contract The contract consists of the general terms and conditions, the tour confirmation and the travel arrangements set out in the brochure or flyers.

Any changes requested by the Client, any alterations in the travel arrangements featured in the brochure and any special request must be made in writing and outlined in the contract.

If travel arrangements as set out in the tour confirmation are found to be different from the Client‘s request, the tour confirmation itself represents a new proposal from Gadis Tourist Service, to which Gadis Tourist Service shall be bound for 14 days, and which the Client may accept by returning the same within the above term of 14 days.

2. Terms of Payment 80% of the price stated in the tour confirmation form is payable 4 weeks prior to the departure date.

The remaining 20% is due 2 weeks prior to the departure date upon delivery of travel documents.

If the Client makes the booking 2 weeks prior to the departure date the full balance of the price must be paid immediately after delivery of travel documents.

Any amendment to article 2 must be agreed upon in writing by the parties.

3. Price alteration A price change may be necessary the contract has been signed subject to significant changes in transportation costs, cost of fuel, taxes and fares such as landing taxes or embarkation fees levied by ports and airports, and the exchange rate.

Price alteration shall be proportional to the above mentioned costs and the cost details shall be provided to the Client.

No price change is possible in the 20 days prior to the departure date.

A fee equal to € 29,00 will be charged by Gadis Tourist Service to cover the costs incurred.

6. Cancellation 6.1. If the Client chooses to cancel their participation, cancellation charges are outlined as follows: • up to 28 days prior to the departure date 5 % of the price paid • up to 21 days prior to the departure date 15 % of the price paid • up to 14 days prior to the departure date 35 % of the price paid • up to 7 days prior to the departure date 50 % of the price paid • within less than 7 days prior to the departure date 100 % of the price paid 6.2. Notwithstanding with the terms and conditions stated in other documents, the terms and conditions of this contract will remain in full force and effect.

6.3. The parties can withdraw from the contract without any refund in the event of unforeseen circumstances (events of force majeure, war, riots, epidemics, acts of restrictions of governments, acts of God, breakdowns, destruction of lodgings, strikes beyond the parties‘ control and similar events).

7. Abandonment If for any reason whatsoever the Client is unable to proceed with a tour, Gadis Tourist Service will refund the Client subject to Gadis Tourist service being refunded by Third Party Suppliers.

8. Minimum number of participants If a tour is subject to a minimum number of par4. 11. Complaints Any disappointment or complaint which the Client may have concerning their travel arrangements must be reported immediately to Gadis Tourist Service so that Gadis Tourist Service or its representative may deal with it.

Any complaint in respect of Gadis Tourist Service should be made in writing and sent by registered mail or fax within 14 days of the end of the tour set out in the contract. Claims reported after the 14days period will be considered only if the Client was prevented from meeting the deadline for reasons beyond its control. Anyway any complaint becomes ineffective 6 months after the end of the tour as stated in the contract.

12. Refund The client agrees and guarantees that: • they are a travel agent / tour operator duly authorised to conduct their business in compliance with any rules and regulations, orders and decrees by the relevant authorities; • They conduct their business in compliance with any rules and regulations, orders and decrees by the relevant authorities; • It has stipulated insurance policies in compliance with any rules and regulations, orders and decrees by the relevant authorities and anyway consistently with its business activity.

The Client shall indemnify Gadis Tourist Service against any statement of claim brought by tour participants, which shall be compensated directly by the Client(without prejudice to any claims of the Client against Gadis Tourist Service should a liability of Gadis Tourist Service occur in accordance with the terms of the contract).

Furthermore, the Client shall indemnify Gadis Tourist Service against any claims from third party suppliers in respect of any cancellations made in relation to services booked.

13. Information on passport, visa and health provisions Gadis Tourist Service shall, within its possibilities, inform the Client about any material variation in the general instruction contained in the description of the trip.

In no event Gadis Tourist Service shall be responsible with respect to the concession and delivery of any necessary visas from foreign authorities.

The Client is the sole responsible of the compliance with all the instructions necessary to carry out the trip. Any inconvenience which arises from the non compliance with the instructions above shall be on the risk of the Client.
