IHCL CELEBRATES CASHEW FEST
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), Goa’s largest hospitality company and leader in the tourism sector, paid homage to the ‘Cashew’, an iconic symbol of Goan Culture and Heritage. In collaboration with Cashew Fest Goa 2024, organized by Goa Forest Development Corporation Limited, IHCL hotels across the state showcased Goa’s vibrant cashew culture through an exciting blend of gastronomic delights, exotic concoctions and immersive sessions from 10th to 12th May, 2024.
Speaking on the collaboration, Mr. Ranjit Phillipose, Senior Vice President - Operations, Goa for IHCL, said “As we celebrate the ‘Cashew’ - an integral icon of Goan identity through various curated culinary experiences across our hotels, IHCL, Goa remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting sustainable tourism practices and preserving the state’s rich cultural heritage. Guided by our ESG+ framework of Paathya, we strive to enhance every holiday experience with the opportunity to give back to the community while providing a holistic, interactive and enriching journey.”
Culinary experts at IHCL’s award-wining restaurants and bars developed specially curated menus of epicurean delicacies, innovative cocktails and riveting experiences that highlighted the allure of the delightful cashew. From delectable appetizers including Cashew Rissóis and Smokey Cashew Nut Satay and aromatic mains such as Cashew-Crusted Halibut Fish, Cashew Pesto Pasta or the Sri Lankan Cashew Curry to decadent desserts like Bolo Sans Rival and Cashew Nut Payasam, a plethora of cashew inspired flavours were unveiled. Additionally, an array of invigorating Feni blends including Fenrita, a refreshing union of Feni, cointreau and lemonade and the Tambde Rosa, a vibrant infusion of Feni and Kokum among others were the highlight of the showcase.
