Fjords Fjord is one of the few Norwegian words that has become international, stemming from the Norse fjorðr. A fjord is a deep, narrow and long-stretched sea channel with

Salmon so fresh it’s jumping, the joy of a gourmet nine-course dish, self-picked strawberries. The largest food festival in the Nordics, freshly made “svele” (Norwegian batter-based cake) on the ferry, a local brew in the glass: Mouthwatering is a common reaction in the culinary region.
