Digicel Business is currently expanding the existing reach for connectivity solutions. The new sites reach from French Guiana to Suriname and on to Trinidad & Tobago where our existing Southern Caribbean Fibre backbone terminates today.

Digicel Business is offering high speed connectivity and with a dedicated branching unit for Oil & Gas. In addition, we are enabling access throughout the Guyana basin with branching units to the north as well as on the outside edge of the Stabroek block.

Furthermore, Digicel is investing in an additional branching unit off black 58 in Suriname to more easily service the multiple operators in the area.

This enables either capacity from a repeater Fibre pair or dark Fibre to the mainland.

Our investment in subsea is mirrored with the rollout of new Fibre services in Guyana coupled with a link between Paramaribo and Georgetown to offer a completely redundant and diverse route from both countries.

The cable is on track to be delivered by Feb 2024.
