ALIGNMENT TO UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) The United Nation’s SDGs provide a holistic and ambitious roadmap for governments, businesses and civil society to work together to address a multitude of global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation and justice. As a state-owned company we go beyond what a private sector organisation would have to, especially when it comes to our communities and citizens. Given our involvement in the extraction of fossil fuels and our focus on developing capability and embedding safety into our operations to improve efficiency and prevent emissions associated with oil and gas production, we play a key role in advancing multiple SDGs. Within the framework of our ESG strategy, we have identified the following SDGs with which we believe our company values and operations best align:
