GENERAL NOTES: Vertical beams to be anchored to the slab with 12mm steel bar. Exact position of masonry walls are subject to design development and final on-site coordination. All walls to maintain min. 2 hour Fire Resistance, unless stated. Full-fill cavity insulation to all cavity walls within habitable areas, including apartments, bin stores, plant rooms, store rooms.

The level of the horizontal tie beam is tentative and should be arranged on site according to door gross reservation so that the tie beam also works as lintel over the doors. Individual concrete lintels over openings to have a minimum bearing of 250mm either side of the lintel (refer to Gobustone).
