PROJECT TARGET AND FIELD OF APPLICATION

To enable Inteli-SIM as a Roaming SIM, it should be attached to any local SIM, which serves the purpose of enabling the roaming SIM and trigger a call connection through Inteli-SIM controller platform. User Friendly Interface (UI), after the Inteli-SIM APP starts, mobile user can either manually or automatically (APP function) toggle 2 SIMs (Roaming SIM and local SIM) for enabling the target 1. 2 SIMs on switching -> 2 SIMs standby (Roaming SIM as a virtual standby SIM) -> 2 SIM working simultaneously, currently technically unable to achieve unless a dual processor is available on board of the handset.

A

ROAMING SIM DEFINITION:

Roaming SIM card originates from an UICC (Universal Integrated Circuit Card) SIM card, also known as an “Attached SIM card”. As defines its name, the success of a highly integrated UICC SIM card is a “Roaming SIM”. With this simple “pasting” action, no need to change SIM cards in the mobile handset.

ROAMING SIM TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Roaming SIM cards can support smartcard chip features. From the perspective of the hardware interface additional support ISO / IEC7816 GPIO interface is required; For external support non-contact payment and other non-telecom applications, the support of ISO / IEC14443 related agreements are also needed; from security point of view, there is a need to support this kind of smartcard security control, power protection, memory protection unit and the encryption algorithm. Together a SIM card and a Roaming SIM should have the following features: • Support ISO / IEC7816 serial port protocol (contactless applications), and have at least one additional GPIO interface protocol support 7816; • Support the ISO / IEC14443 Type A / B protocol (non-contact applications); • Support algorithm: DES, 3DES, RSA (non-telecom) and the corresponding hardware accelerators; With memory protection circuit (MPU), respectively, for different parts of the memory there can be permission settings; • Hardware supports true random number generator (RNG); • Hardware supports frequency detection, voltage detection, temperature detection, prevention of a variety of physical anatomy, probe; • Hardware store supports encrypted access; • Storage and modification of important information l power protection mechanism should be protected; • For GSM applications related to information storage and access, to comply with international norms GSM11.11-11.14 and 11.17; • FPCB Ultra fiord plastic design.

ROAMING SIM HARDWARE CONSTRUCTION ROAMING SIM CPU

There are few CPU chipset available for the Roaming SIM solution. Such as FM12xxx series, SHC 12xxx, SHC13xxx series, moto iSIM, Taiwan Taisij etc. Roaming SIM CPU chipset is a high-end CPU contactless smart IC card chip. The 7816 chip in addition to the standard serial interface, but also has a 7816 agreement can simulate SIO pad, allowing users to easily extended to support pin C6 foil card applications. • CPU is the ARM7 architecture SC100, • Compatible with 16-bit and 32-bit instructions thumb ARM instruction, • The processor supports fast interrupt (FIQ) and normal interrupt (IRQ), • Has seven operating modes, two security modes (user mode and privileged mode); • A memory protection unit (MPU), respectively, for different parts of the memory can be permissions; • Roaming SIM CPU chipset built-in 8K bytes of ROM and 8K bytes of RAM can be accessed by 8/16/32 bit ; • Its built 384K bytes of flash under normal operating conditions, will provide at least 100,000 times Endurance and at least 10 years of data retention time; • Roaming SIM CPU chipset also integrates two 16-bit timers and a watchdog, true random number generator, system control, safety control (frequency detector, a voltage detector and a memory encryption), DES / 3DES algorithm hard ware modules. • The chip can be used as either an ordinary SIM card or it can also be packaged into foil cards for the telecommunications market, especially in the field of application of 3G. 11

Roaming SIM CPU chipset is a high-end CPU contactless smart IC card chip, such as FM12xxx series, SHC 12xxx, SHC13xxx series, Motorola iSIM, Taiwan Taisij etc. to do the control part of the FPCB electrical circuts, the important step for the design of the Roaming SIM hardware is the core work of the hardware design, this requires engineer to know about the smartcard SIM driver design and the mobile communication hardware design. This is the inside structure of the Roaming SIM (see FPCB design figure).

The metal connection port, the protection plastic and the double side of an adhesive tape design is a kind of miniature industrial product design; a perfect design will be easy for a user to swap Roaming SIM to the local SIM. Therefore design engineer should have deep industrial design knowledge on the material structure injection and FPCB manufacture production. Ultra thin Roaming SIM plastic module using high-quality and high-frequency dielectric sided copper clad polyimide substrate, which enable the Roaming SIM more scalable, folding resistant and heat resistant. Applying low-loss cover film production making the circuit board bump highly reliable, corrosion resistant.

Roaming SIM being between the phone and a local SIM turns itself into a new smartcard to provide richer functionality and value-added services. As a smartcard product, foil card operating system is the core of its work. Roaming SIM operating system is shown in the receive data obtained through the terminal SIO, parsed PPS or writing APDU processitng sub-module of the SIM card IO port or reading data from the sub-SIM card APDU parsed by IO port to the terminal, this way SIM foil card by card then this " bridge" establishes a contact with the terminal.

As can be seen from the figure, on the core kernel part the SIM controller on the STK API the UICC Controller is used to control all operations associated with the card, by UICC Controller, we can access ICC Records (SIM card related), CatService (STK-related ), ICC File Handle (read SIM card file), by this way the software from the level of STK accesses the SIM and takes full control of the SIM hardware operation.

PRODUCTION MATERIAL SOURCING AND MANUFACTURE PROCEDURE QUALITY CONTROL

The Product development procedure is an essential procedure in the entire project development; there are 2 very important parts of development during the project development: 1 ID (Interface design), MD design (Module design) engineering This will require ID and MD designer to be very knowledgeable in the FPCB interface and SIM product MD electrical circuits design, and ensure that the Roaming SIM has good strong outlook shape, is ultra thin and fills up every necessary space in the SIM slot, and at the same time it has highly productive electrical circuits that can effectively perform all the tasks in less time. 2 Production material sourcing and manufacture procedure quality control Test sample production, small volume product and mass production are important process for ensuring the final quality of product, so from the test sample period, and the need to input large human resources to sourcing material supplier (PCB, plastic mounting materials), and sourcing for the third party manufacturers factory (currently only very few factories in China can perform the ultra thin printing plastic production), on one of the visits in China we have chosen one factory from hundreds of other smart card manufacturers, they have ISO9001:2008 which is a specialization for IOT device FPCB and NFC SIM manufacturing . Here we have only listed up some important parts in the manufacturing process.

Project resources planning

We will need to put in different kind of resources in different quantities according to the projects requirements in different periods. The project resources including human resources (software /hardware development engineers, ID CAD design engineer, products outsource engineer, administrator etc. ); Equipment and development facilities (computers servers, development platforms, test lab analyzer, production quality control, preparations tools, car for visiting factory and third party suppliers, etc) See the attachment file “project development resource planning” Office administrator according to the request coordinates with human and other facilities resources and provide a weekly office resources with organized plan, such as personal working hours and payment plans, office material purchasing plan, car arranging plan, suppliers meeting booking plan and so on.

Project development time table planning

After projects and their implementation have been defined, we will follow up and define time schedule for completing the project, the relations developer and outsourcing manager will follow up the project development time schedule for completing different tasks. Project quality control planning

Every development team will follow up with the project definition, software /hardware specification and development requirements, and follow up with the development “V” model to complete each step in the software/hardware project definition specification list development, prototype building, test and configuration, development implementation, completion of test result, critical analysis and result performance etc. Team leader will need to plan list for development quality control (result & time) in the following list: • Weekly review of the development technical parts (software UML chart, FPCB electrical circuits design chart, software program test version) and these materials follow up control list with project manager. • Weekly review each development team detail development project time schedule, to reorganize the development resource or reschedule the development time in case of need. • Weekly review of software and hardware problems list and problem solving list (later when product has been released to the market, will need to build up a technical support check-list) • Weekly review resource checklist. • Weekly system integration checklist with other teams.

The purpose of Roaming SIM project is to finally complete software and hardware-integrated SIM products, partly software on the mobile device, partly physical product with good quality and good performance. Production cost planning

In order to finally build up the Roaming SIM product and to continue production of the Roaming SIM product, we will need to build up the product sourcing team and production quality control team (production period) and production test tools for software download, testing tools for control of the hardware connectivity and performance. As mentioned above, we will need 3 product engineers (production sourcing team) who will be responsible for product ID/MD design and production quality control team (production period). Payment milestones

After consulting and signing of the development contract, move to the 1st step on the organization setup cost, HR and facility preparation costs, which will be 20% of the total cost for the total budget amount.

Project development period can divided into 3 phases of payment: • 1st phase (prototype phase - 2 months) starts after the 1st payment, 20% of the total budget payment • 2nd phase (product development phase - 2 months) starts after the 1st payment, 20% of the total budget payment • 3rd phase (sample and test sample production phase - 2 months) starts after the 2nd period payment, 20% of the total budget payment
