Purpose
#2-1 Pilot Project for Sustainable New Urban Communities Productive Low Cost Environmentally Friendly Village
• To develop a PLEV methodology that can be tested within the first allocated site of 2000 acres in Fayoum hoping that such model can be documented, assessed, evaluated, and then advocated and promoted for replication to cover the current allocated sites for 400 new communities in desert remote villages or any other new community in Egypt.
• Create and establish an integrated sustainable-village model to house a sustainable community initiated, developed, and managed by its youth residence through the technical expertise of the Housing & Building National Research Center and its partners (Governmental, institutional, civil society, donors, and interested individuals)
