Measurements of the boundary are taken. Actual construcDble site is indicated by gridlines with setback 20 feet from the road and 10 feet for the porch according to UBBL and the locaDon of the pile is marked.

The pile that divided into two parts for transportation is weld on spot when the first pile is driven halfway down. The pile integrity test (Load test) is carried out to ensure the strength meet the requirement before the rest of the piles were piled in.

A concrete test is carried out to ensure the strength meet the requirements after it was left to cure for 7 days.


Week 27

Duration: 6-7 days Materials: Clay Bricks, Cement mortar, Builder’s line, Wire mesh reinforcement Equipment: Wheel barrow (2), Shovel (2), Groovers (5), Edges (5) Skilled Workers: General Workers (6) Technical Information: Builder’s line will act as the guideline to ensure the wall is erected in desired position and do not slanted. The clay bricks with dimension 100mmx 215mmx 75mm is applied with a layer of mortar and stack together in desired bonding. A layer of wire mesh will laid on top of the bricks in certain layer interval as reinforcement.


Week 28
 Activity 1: Ground floor interior wall (Grid 16-23)

Duration: 6-7 days Materials: Clay Bricks, Cement mortar, Builder’s line, Wire mesh reinforcement Equipment: Wheel barrow (2), Shovel (2), Groovers (5), Edges (5) Skilled Workers: General Workers (6) Technical Information: Builder’s line will act as the guideline to ensure the wall is erected in desired position and do not slanted. The clay bricks with dimension 100mmx 215mmx 75mm is applied with a layer of mortar and stack together in desired bonding. A layer of wire mesh will laid on top of the bricks in certain layer interval as reinforcement.
