These standards are increasing due to the rider‘s quest for excitement and risks, and ongoing advancements in the cycling market. Both for road cycling and off-road biking, the demands placed on protective equipment are increasing all the time, as maximum speeds are achieved, for example with high-tech dampers and 29-inch wheels on mountain bikes, or disc brakes on racing bikes. Alpina is continually optimising proven technologies and developing new ones in order to provide the highest possible levels of protection for all bike disciplines.
