EVERYDAY ART Student Art Shop (EDA), which is a platform for the students, has promoted their works of art since 2013. CMP PUJEN Foundation for Arts and Culture collects students from the art and design colleges of Taiwan's universities every year to create a stage for young artists. EDA brings not only the beautiful original works of Taiwan students but also a small story that is behind the works. The purpose is accumulating the attention of collectors, market experience, and expression of the ability in their student periods. Look forward to promoting and supporting students to continue to create, EDA also promotes the arts into the life experience and give everyone opportunities to buy the art works.

Before graduating, it will take place a design exhibition to display students’ graduate works. The exhibition not only presented students’ professional training results but also expressed some new environmental views. We expected people could care more about environmental and landscape issues and start to focus on the harmonious interactions between people and the environment. The exhibition aimed to create a platform for landscape architecture and environmental. The drawings and models displayed the epitome of effort regarding students’ four-years studying and presented that they participated in multi teaching contents and their growth potentials. Luckily, I was elected as a curating group leader in 23rd Graduate Association in Department of Landscape Architecture, Fu Jen Catholic University and an exhibition area workplace overseer. Besides, this design exhibition had another cooperative partner, Tunghai University. Thus, we worked together to plan the exhibition design details and allocating areas for theme and personal display stall.

(2013)

DESIGN ITEM Poster | 42.0*59.4 cm (A2) Invitation card | 21.0*10.0 cm

DESIGN DESCRIPTION The Color & Style: Natural Style (Brown, Purple-blue, White) According to the performer, Pei-yi Liu, is an outgoing girl. She likes the natural color very much. However, she's a fan of MUJI which is a brand of Japan and full of natural color products. To match her image, I use a brown color series as a primary color. In addition, I also add some natural material on her graphic designs.

DESIGN ITEM Postcard | 10.5*14.0 cm (Red) Postcard | 10.5*14.0 cm (Black) Postcard | 14.0*10.5 cm (Deer)

DESIGN DESCRIPTION "ARE YOU A FAN" was an invitation card for my family and friends. I wanted to invite them to come to my Graduate Design Exhibition. I hoped that everyone can not only share with our pleasure for graduation but also realize the efforts which we have put on the work. "鹿港還剩什麼" was a postcard for those who came to The Graduate Design Exhibition. The deer is the symbolical of Lukang. "還剩什麼" means that although the tourism industry is a lifeline of Lukang, there are some potential resources more important for us to look for.

In the decades, Lukang tourism tended to commercialize. Merchants consumed local features without restraint. In addition, the government did not raise any useful strategies to protect the cultural resources. Consequently, Lukang was sort of sustainable planning so that the cultural resources faded away gradually. “The Planning of Living Museum in Lukang Historical Village” will discuss to solve these problems and find some potential resources to renew the image of Lukang. The position of “The Planning of Living Museum in Lukang Historical Village” will introduces the concept of living museum. For the purpose for transforming local cultural potentials, we hope tourists experience the local lives and do as the natives do to enjoy the different way of life in Lukang. COMMERCIAL TRADE Qing dynasty opened Lukang as official trading port in 1784. In addition, the dock region had overdeveloped, some local merchants built the most popular shop street which paralleled to the dock. However, from 1851 to 1872, because of the silt, the shipping could not enter that the trading port fell off.

ACTIVITY

TOURISM "Lukang and Fuxing Urban Planning" put some important historical sites into Lukang Historical Reservation in 1971. Then, in 1986, some parts of Lukang Historical Reservation were allowed to use for business. Thus, Lukang tourism business started to flourish.

In 2010, for the purpose for Taipei International Flora Exposition, the government combined all the museums and parks to build up an international exhibition area. However, after ending the Flora Exposition, some of the exhibit areas were idled. In addition, only few tourists and local residents visited the park. Thus, “The Planning of Taipei City Museum Village” will discuss how to change the predicament. We decide to reorient the meaning and increase the multi-function ways to attract people to give the park a new life again.

PARK WATERFRONT

1) Because of large parking lot, most of drivers enter form the south of site. 2) Most of transports gather in the east of site. 3) Sec.3, Zhongshan N. Rd. runs through the site. In addition, the car flow is also higher. Thus, seldom tourists visit the park.

People gather in the exhibition areas in the day. On the contrary, because of the limiting opening time, most of people are in the MRT station or fair at night.

In terms of different type of museum village, we can divide them into two group, "Practice Museum" and "Experience Museum".
