Handling a Team 

 

If as an LCP, you are having a strong conflict with one of your EB members and the situation is notably affecting the rest of the team. You have already tried dialogue, expectations setting, etc. but the situation doesn’t seem to improve and it is influencing this person’s performance and yours. The situation is even affecting you personally. It is midterm period and during transition you have been told that it is too late to ask a member to leave the team. What will your approach be? (Make assumptions on the situation if you find it necessary – mention your assumptions) How will you handle your EB team if they lose their motive to work? How do you think you can manage team dynamics and diversity on your team?

The Process 1. When plotting your lifeline consider key events in your life, such as graduation, relationships, leadership opportunities, challenges etc., victories you’ve achieved, crisis you’ve endured, fears you’ve overcome, stands you’ve taken, and lessons you’ve learned 2. 2. Your role in the LC transcends financial management, but also generation of revenue, how do you plan to work with the VP’s and LCP to ensure financial health for the organization? 3. AIESEC CALABAR has plans of getting its residence and office. How do you think this can be achieved? Clearly outline the strategies you would put in place to ensure that this target is met. Show the revenue streams that will help you attain this target. 4. The LC spends a significant amount of time sourcing for revenue for the LC, what products do you think AIESEC CALABAR should focus on? (Consider alignment with The AIESEC Way) 5.
