t might be a little bit hard, but you have to say “Goodbye” to summer because... it’s time to go back to school! This school year will be totally different and much, much better than last school year. You will get to see all of your friends and do tons of really cool activities at school. It’s going to be a fantastic year!
Cute!
Little Sis, do you know who’s cute? YOU’RE CUTE! So, of course, you want to make sure that you are bringing all of the cuteness with your back to school outfits. Yes, Sweetie, your gear should reflect who you are. You are a sweet, special, smart, and super fashionable girl. When your outfit looks good, you will likely feel good. So, get ready to put on those fabulous outfits, Honey Bun! Not sure where to start with your back to school outfit choices? Remember, your clothes don’t have to look like everybody else’s to be amazing. They just need to be neat and clean. They can be your own style! Hey, you might even start a fashion trend. The most important thing about choosing your outfits is to choose clothes that make you feel great! Well, here are a few awesome and chic clothing ideas that you might want to add to your school wardrobe this year:
4
Denim Always Does It! Those little denim jackets and shirts can really make your outfit look adorable. You can layer them with other shirts or just wear them by themselves with a skirt, pants, or shorts. They go with EVERYTHING!
Skirts Are For Fashionistas
High Tops Rock!
Whether you choose high top boots or high top sneakers, adding high tops to your outfit will give it a fun and funky look. There is just something really cool about sporting high tops. Wear them with socks peeking out of the top of them to make them a bit more cutesy. High tops work with leggings, shorts, or skirts!
Girls look very stylish when they wear skirts. Skirts can be dressed up for school picture day or you can wear them just to look cute on the playground. Some girls like the skirts that seem to flow when they walk. Skirts can make a girl look really graceful and lady-like. If you play crazy hard at recess and if you have to go to P.E. class, then, you probably don’t want to wear a skirt everyday! But, when you do wear one, you are going to look phenomenal!
Patterns Are On Point!
Floral dresses, plaids, and stripes will have you looking sassy and classy at the same time. Pair your patterns with solid colored pieces to make an incredible fashion statement. You can mix patterns if you want, but you might want to be sure that they have similar colors.
Socks Say A Lot!
One of the most fun accessories for school are socks! There are some weird and wacky socks out there, and they can definitely look cute with your outfits. Try to find socks with funny sayings or that have pics on them of your favorite things. When you wear socks that mean something to you or that feature your favorite stuff, you are sharing a little bit of yourself with other people. That’s a great thing to do and it could lead to you making even more amazing friends!

ne of the best things about the start of the new school year is the chance for you to get to know new people. It’s super fun to learn about someone and to share who you are with them. Having friends is a big part of school. When you have friends, school days seem like they are more interesting and full of great experiences. Going back to school is going to be like an all new experience for some kids. Last year, most schools had only online classes. Aren’t you glad that part is over? Many kids are happy to go back and they are looking forward to meeting new people and getting new friends. Some girls may get a little nervous when they think about becoming friends with other kids because they might not know how. So, here are 4 fantastic tips for making friends:
Smile You can make someone want to become your friend by just smiling. It’s almost like a magic trick! Your smile will help kids to think of you as a good person. That is important! So, show them your beautiful smile (even if you don’t have all of your teeth!).
Say Nice Things Kids love when other kids say nice things about them. Whether you are telling someone how cute their hair tie looks or that they are really good at kickball, you can make people happy when you give them compliments. They will begin to know you as a sweet girl. Everyone wants to be friends with sweet and nice people.
6
Share There is something super awesome about sharing with other people. It will make you feel good and it will make them feel even better knowing that you cared enough to share with them. The other great thing about sharing is that you may find that you like some of the same things! Now, that would be amazing!
Invite Them To Play The easiest way to make a friend is to be a friend. You can make lots of friends by inviting kids to play with you. Everyone feels good when they know that they are liked. Plus, playing with someone gives you the chance to talk to them and laugh with them. It can be such a wonderful time and that person might be your friend for a long time!

After school Snack
Ice Cream in a Bag By Girl Tyler
I
ce cream is the perfect dessert to help you cool down after a fun day of exercising your brain! Before you get busy with homework, take a study break with a sweet treat. This ice cream in a bag recipe is great for after school or after dinner!
Here’s what you’ll need: • 1 cup half-and-half (or whole milk) •
1.5 tsp vanilla extract
•
1 tbsp sugar
• ice •
1/4 cup salt
•
2 Ziploc bags (1 small, 1 large)
10
Instructions Pour 1 cup of half-and-half into a small Ziploc bag. Add in 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Seal the bag, carefully to releasing excess air. Fill up half of the large Ziploc bag with ice. Pour in 1/4 cup of salt. Place your small bag inside the large bag, filling it with more ice. Seal the large bag. Grab two oven mitts and shake the bag for 4-5 minutes. (The bag will be really cold, so the oven mitts will make it easier to hold.) Remove the small bag from the large bag and rinse the outside of the small bag, including the top part right above the seal, with cold water. Wipe off the bag with a dry dish towel to remove any remaining salt. Open the bag and give it a little stir with a spoon. Scoop and enjoy! Makes two servings
