Whether you prefer a protective style, such as box braids, or wigs, or you’re a low maintenance Sista and want to rock a short cut, there are many options to choose from when considering a hairstyle. Ugly Christmas sweater parties, themed New Year’s Eve kickbacks, engagement parties, bridal showers, divorce parties (yup, they are a thing), and every other joyous coming together of humans is about to happen as we head into 2022. The last thing you need to worry about is how to wear your hair. Black hair is known for its versatility. We can rock any style: natural, sew-in, braided, or flat ironed. You name it, we own it. Browse the list of hairstyles, then make an appointment with your stylist or grab your hair tools and go the DIY route.

1. Classic Ponytail
Low or high. Straight or curly. You can never go wrong with a ponytail. Part your hair on the side or in the middle then put it in a low bun. Wrap braiding hair around a hair tie then loop it around your low bun. Secure with bobby pins. Take it up a notch by braiding the hair all the way to the end, then wearing it on one shoulder. If DIY hair isn’t your thing, drawstring ponytails are EVERYTHING.
2. Half-Up / Half-Down
Part your hair midway to the back and section off the front half, pulling your hair into a bun or a mini-pony. Finger comb the back to make sure it’s even. This look can also be achieved with a drawstring ponytail or a half wig.
3. Elegant Middle Part
There is something classy about a middle part. It doesn’t matter if your hair is hanging or pulled back into a ponytail, a middle part shows off your facial features perfectly.
4. Bedazzled ‘Fro
Wear your natural hair out and top it off with a rhinestone hair comb.

hile you’re switching up your wardrobe, transitioning from fall to winter, you should probably take inventory of your beauty arsenal. Do you have the right products to brave the winter elements? Cold weather and gusty winds tend to be extremely disrespectful to your skin. The next few months of frigid temps leading up to spring are critical to how you protect your skin. Harsh conditions are known to strip your skin of the oils needed to maintain a protective barrier, causing dry skin and flakiness. Let’s call a thing a thing though...ashiness is most prevalent in wintery weather. Nobody has time for that! Hydrate and soothe your skin with ease this winter. Here are a few no-brainer products to keep nearby:

DECEMBER 2021 LIP BALM You've probably noticed that you have a habit of licking your lips incessantly (like LL Cool J) during the winter when your Chapstick is nowhere in sight. Doing so causes an adverse effect...chapped lips. Stock up on moisturizing lip balms. Skip the ones that cause a tingling or burning sensation that produces more irritation. (Your granny and aunties were onto something... good ‘ole Vaseline will always do the trick!) Go the extra mile and pick up a lip exfoliant to remove dead skin. MOISTURIZING HAND CREAM With all the handwashing we've done since the start of the pandemic, you'd think we were prepping for surgery on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. When will I be billed for next month’s box? You will be rebilled on the 1st of the month for the next box. You will not be billed for the next box until after the box from the current month has been shipped/ delivered.

What is your cancellation policy? Your subscription can be cancelled at any time in your Brown Sugar Box Account Settings at izzyandliv.com. If you’ve already been billed for the next box (1st of the month), your cancellation will take affect the next billing cycle. To cancel your subscription, login to your account and click on the Subscription tab, then click “edit” next to your subscription. You can also email us to request that we cancel for you.

Can I exchange or return items in my box? We cannot accept returns at this time for Brown Sugar Box items, but we welcome your feedback to improve. Yes, you can skip a future month delivery and not be billed for it, without having to cancel your entire subscription. To skip a delivery you just need to click “Skip” to the right of each relevant delivery. This will only skip that one delivery. Should you have an issue with your box items (damage, received wrong size, etc) you must notify us at support@izzyandliv. com, with photo(s), within 7 days of receipt of your package. After 7 days, we will not be able to process requests related to this month’s box.
