PROFILE
JUAN FELIPE MONTAĂ‘EZ BARRERO
When I think of architecture, space, time and man are no longer divided. These concepts become a single organism that functions and responds to our common needs within the world around us. Visual and physical representation is the first step in truly experiencing the structural relation to the environment and its emotional impact to the viewer. The architectural scale model is the medium for understanding all dynamics of the structure. It allows its viewers to feel the space, the proportion, the use of material and light in a dimension where all these intagible factors can be touched and lived. The model ( maqueta) improves the communication between architect and client. The voice of the Architect now becomes like a motherlanguage for the client.

3D VISUALIZATION
The goal is to give you a graphical aid for the development of your projects : architectural-, interior design , urban planning and landscape . Through 3D modeling reach a more realistically view of the ultimate goal of its projects and it is a direct and real language with the customers. To achieve this I develop photorealistic images of your projects that helps to illustrate to your clients the image that the project aims and to show the character features in design and specialities that has the project.itect and client. The voice of the Architect now becomes like a motherlanguage for the client.

ARCHITECTURAL MODEL SHOP
The modelstudio Project was born in the year 2010 togheter with my arcithect friend Jonas Horbach. With his experience of working in SL RASCH Special and Lightweight structures GMBH, Modelshop Leinfelden-Oberaichen, Stuttgart, Germany and our experience undertaken in workshops of architectural models in Colombia, Chile, Usa and Germany, we decided to start our own project ‘Modelstudio’. We made models (maquettes) from small scale industry projects and we combined light and reality in the models of our clients project. Our philosophy is keeping the tradition of the architecture school in its representation, being aware that the software architecture are functional in design tools, but the way to get there still is the creative freedom of the brain and hand.

SCHOOL OF THEATRE AND FILM
The school of Theatre and film is a support project cultural and educational for Bogota, La Candelaria. It’s primary use strengthen the historical culture in this area and promote recreational activities to get in this way more recognition. The purpose of this school is to learn more about the streets, the people, the true stories, traditions and to understand the different links between them so they function as virtual networks in the territory. It is a building that provides the city as a sculptural element, functional and teaching with the use of new contstruction techniques (metal) you can develop a model that does not have many technical constructive limitations and it allows the experiment to form and shape the concept.

ARCOSANTI, ARCOLOGY (ARCHITECTURE + ECOLOGY)
Introducion to Arcology Like Paolo Soleri says:”look at what is happening in today’s green movement reformation. We put solar panels on a single family home but can’t change the impact of inefficient construction or the consumption inherent to moving around the suburbs. We by hybird cars but must drive in the gridlocks of daily commutes. We by ‘green washed’ products but continue the same hyper consymtion that sprawl mandates. These improvements produce a ‘better kind of wrongness’.” Soleri suggests instead of reformation, we need reformulation of the way that we think about living and design habitats that get to the root of the problem. Do we have enough land and other resources to sustain the current types of development? Does green consumerism get to the root of the problem? Could the American dream be reconsidered and reinvented? Arcology seeks to embody a ‘ Lean Alternative’ to hyper consumption and wastefulness through more frugal, efficient, smart yet elegant city designs. Leanness is inherently obtainable via the miniaturization intrinsic to the Urban Effect.
p29
LEAN LINEAR CITY, ARCOLOGY (ARCHITECTURE + ECOLOGY)
Lean Linear City “Whats needed is a total reformulation. The core of this reformulation is the city in its more promising transformation. Life, inventiveness, and culture are more and more in the thick, in accordance with the teaching of nature.... the need entwine the thick of things of the city with fluid performance and logistics is one of the tasks addressed by SOLARE, lean linear City Paolo Soleri
