Access the Booking System via the online staffroom:

1) Hover over the HOME link under the main banner, click on "Staffroom" from the menu.

2) Access to the system can be gained by clicking on the following button: Use the menu on the left of the Bookings home page to access the area/ type of bookings you wish to make.

Booking an ICT Room: Begin by checking the OVERVIEW calendar for available rooms/ times/ dates. Use the button called: ICT Overview The calendar will open in Month View. As such (if needed) navigate to your desired month by using the menu on the right: Use the tab at the top of the calendar called: 5 Day, for a clearer view of the bookings. Each room is colour-coded. By hovering your cursor over the coded rooms at the top of each day, the colours are explained. Instructions can also be found at the top of each day for reference.


Free (available) rooms are identified by counting the number of slots. In the example (right) during P1 & 3 there are five booked rooms. However during P2, there are only four. The missing room (ICT 4/ Purple) is not listed during P2, therefore this room is available to book.

After identifying which room/ time/ date is available, navigate back to the main page (point of entry) by using the DONE button which is located at the top left of the calendar. To make your booking, use the menu to select your room, this will take you to a calendar specific to that room.

By default the calendar will open in Month View, so change this to 5 Day for clarity. Using the information gained by checking the Overview and navigating directly the to room/ date in 5 day view (example right) the free (available slot) can be easily identified by the blank space in the calendar. To book this slot, simply click on the blank (yellow) cell to enter the booking form.


Complete your booking by adding your details. Title: Enter your staff/ class code. Start: This will be completed automatically. End: This will be completed automatically. Description: If needed. notes can be added here.

Check your details and click on: SAVE to add your booking to the system. Use the CANCEL button to terminate the booking. After clicking SAVE, your booking details will be displayed like the example (right). To edit or delete the booking at any time return to the booking and use the buttons located at the bottom of the booking details.

IMPORTANT: Should a confirmation message appear like the example (right), this is due to trying to make a booking which overlaps with an existing booking. If you click continue, you will double-book! Use the BACK button to terminate and revise your booking. OTHER NOTES: • To make bookings for other rooms and items, follow the same guidance, although you will not need to check an overview for availability. Simply go straight to the desired room or item. • Bookings MUST not be made on behalf of other users as this can compromise the system. • Refer to the video guidance for demonstrations and more help.
