AMERICAN AIRLINES HANGAR II O’HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT | CHICAGO, IL
To support the modernization program of Chicago O’Hare International Airport, American Airlines decided to develop a new double wide-body aircraft maintenance hangar. Their aim was to construct a structure that would improve and consolidate both line and base maintenance operations at one of their busiest hubs. This project worked closely with American stakeholders to understand their operating requirements and conceive a highly efficient facility that accommodates a variety of aircraft. Now complete, American Airlines new hangar improves aircraft and maintenance operations while serving the greater modernization of the Chicago O’Hare International Airport. This project is a landmark for the redevelopment of American’s nextgeneration facilities that will ultimately strengthen the airline’s future growth, allowing them to continue servicing one of the largest and fastest-growing aircraft fleets in the world.

LOGAN HARDWARD RETRO GAMING BARCADE | CHICAGO, IL
Logan Hardware is now an open tavern, a record music store, and a mecca vintage center of retro arcade and classic pinball machines for all to enjoy. The project is in itself a unique place that transcends a chilled out environment that serves drinks, sells vinyl records, and a deep line of arcade games to play. This design project required a building permit application of a full service bar with an interior twist of renovation work to create a relaxing environment in having a traditional space of retro arcadic games. The client Jim Zespy hopes that this project creates a stronger sence of community for all sorts of hipsters, gamers, and families living in the Logan Square area to enjoy.

BIBB’S RESIDENTIAL PROJECT SOUTHERN COTTAGE STYLE | COLUMBUS, GA
This project came from Brown Design Studio with the task of changing elevations, floor plans, and details along with other requests from the client. This traditional design is for a development site that comes uniquely different in its own sense of space. BEACHTOWN COT TAGE TRADITIONAL NEIGHORHOOD DEVELOPMENT | BEACHTOWN GALVESTON, TX
Designed by Brown Design Studio, this Beachtowns Cottage “#3”, is the firm’s first single story units to be raised sixteen feet above sea level. A grand part on this project was to work on the floor plans, elevations, and electrical plans, sections and interior elevations. In the end the town developer requested a computer generated 3D model and wanted to view the different types of finished materials on the exterior design. Working along side town builder Tofigh and Nadar Shirazi, Beachtown Galveston now uses this model, along with other illustrations to showcase their design options to Beachtowns clients. This rendering in particular was issued on the cover of Galveston monthly magazine.

TR ADITIONAL HOUSE DESIGNS SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH TRADITIONAL DESIGN | USA
In a strive to provide more traditional neighorborhood designs, collaboration with Congress for New Urbanism (CNU) and Duany & Plater-Zyberk (DPZ) was set in motion. In the bases of the masterplan and code development there is an oppertunity to design a traditional sustainable building in the practice principles for new urbanism. For this concept to become reality, motivated planning and good financial practices on using local materials were implemented as a strategy for similar communities to be sucessful. Through research and studying the traditional techniques, inspried by historic neighborhoods as reference from both foreign and domestic lands, we are able to create pockets of communities in urban areas as they grow each year. The creation of these enduring residential aesthtic designs only added economical and social value that people love to experience.

VOLUNTEER WORK ARCHITECTURAL OUTREACH | MOTIVATION FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DESIGNERS
Every year there is an oppurtunity to be a professional consultant to advise and mentor the next generation of designers. Throughout the process of this architectural career I have made myslef available to my alumni school in passing on experience and sharing knowledge to upcoming graduate students. Discussing the different aspects of responsiblities that an associate operates, from the practice of volunteer work and charette participation, guiding students in site visits, client meetings, and informal discussions helping them gain a deeper understanding of the construction process providing meaningful direction with each design project. Having this engagement as the consultant and critiquer provides a propose in continuing on a strong relationship of networking, and provides a good keep up with the latest talents and tech trends that are happening in the now realm of architecture.
