Who is our audience? We believe that music festivals are for everyone and wouldn't want to limit too much who our audience is. However after researching we believe our target audience are between 17-40 year olds. This is a very broad demographic but festivals can be for people of all ages and music preference. Research also suggests that only 20% of festival goers are 'loyal' and continue to go due to their love of the whole experience. A high number of people go based on the musical guest line up, so as we offer a range over events we hope that our audience base will also increase. Who's presenting: Joe
How does it look? When designing the app it was decided to follow similar designs from existing streaming services. Of course with the name being Turntable Streams we incorporated the vinyl record iconography in the logo. Gradients and simplicity are two design features that seem to be used a lot within streaming platform designs, to make sure the user felt at ease we incorporated these design aspects so that it felt familiar to the user and they could understand that this app is just as easy to use as the others they are used to using.

Social Media marketing Forget Coachella? It's Couch-ella this festival season! We decided that Social Media would be the main tool in our marketing campaign. In this case, specifically Instagram. It was decided that we would make use of the hashtags and encourage our audience to interact and as a gift offer them tickets to events or discounts for upcoming shows. #TTS | #SHOWUSYOURSTREAM | #SOCIALDISTANCESTREAMERS | #SUMMERSTREAMS We also decided that influencers would be a big part in our marketing campaign, during the usual festival season timelines will be filled with influencers posing at festivals, so having them talk about the app and encourage others to join our streams could be a great asset. Other methods of promoting on social media would be Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat adverts and also sponsored YouTube videos to broaden the audience that we are marketing too. In app marketing Another marketing technique we decided to focus on is in app marketing. There is a page within the app which allows the users access to 'early bird tickets' or 'last call' to buy tickets to events that are soon going to be streaming. As previously mentioned if the user links their account to similar apps that they use we suggest tickets to events based on your likes or introducing new artists that you could be interested in. There is also the option to share your stream with friends and if they chose to join they will get a discount on their tickets. Who's presenting: Ewan
