To develop a commercial and aspirational footwear and bag collection for the Gola Classics brand for the SS16 collection. All designs must be applied to an existing footwear and bag silhouette (as supplied) and the designs must be commercial and based on forecasted trends while also reinforcing the brand’s British heritage. The collection can be for men’s and/or ladies’. The project will also be a strong talking point for the Gola brand in the press and across social media platforms, so please include any considerations as to how the collection can be marketed. The project will conclude on 12th February and a winner will be selected the following week. The selected design will be sampled as part of our SS16 collection and sold worldwide.

Design a capsule collection based on your trend for the new unisex brand “Mikazi� that is aimed at ages 15-28. All of the designs must have strong branding. All aspects of the design must be thought of including the detailing, application of graphics, swing tags and internal labelling.

MADE MADE IN IN I chose to use a traditionally japanese inspired font as the logo for Mikazi as it is a japanese inspired company. The colour red traditionally has the connotations of blessing and happiness in japanese therefore I decided to use this as the main colour. My branding elements were chosen by Mikazi to be used at their launch.
