DOES OPENING YOUR CLOSET DOORS MAKE YOU CRINGE? IT’S TIME FOR A CHANGE.

IS YOUR CLOSET LIVING IN THE PAST AND YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO MAKE THE CHANGES TO MOVE FORWARD? In the new podcast, “Uncluttered and Unfiltered,” professional organizer Christine Stone and 99.9 Gator Country radio personality Eden Kendall discuss how making simple and inexpensive changes to your closet can bring a sense of calm and create a closet that works with one’s everyday life.

Eden and Christine’s launched their podcast with the idea of helping woman over 50 find their community, as well as share tips on a variety of topics—including how to declutter, get organized and enjoy a more efficient life. So, when it comes to organizing a home closet, Christine offers the following suggestions. • Keep like items and colors together. Doing so prevents over-buying, so you can see what you already own. • Let go of the “what if” and “use to be” clothes. These items take up valuable space in a closet and prevent you from living in the present. • Make a list of new items you need to rebuild your wardrobe. Create a closet with clothes that represent who you are and your current lifestyle. • Change your hangers. Slimline hangers in the same color give your closet a uniform look. Plus, they are inexpensive and this change doesn’t take a lot of time to achieve. • Keep a bag in your closet and, if you put something on that you don’t love or feel good in when you wear it, put it in the bag. Don’t wait until the next big wardrobe purge.

If you don’t like it, don’t hang it back up. *
