Water Pressure

Throughout this tap section each tap has its own individual colour-coded, key features. The colours aim to make it easier to pick out the features you want when making your choice of tap.

When choosing a tap you need to consider the water pressure available in your home. Cold water will be at mains pressure so is not usually a problem*, the pressure at which your hot water comes out the tap is vital and you must note those designs which require a high pressure to perform well.

Tap features

If you have a pressurised water heater system then you will have a minimum amount of pressure (normally 1.8 bar), which is more than adequate to provide good flow through most taps.
