Monarplan FM A polyester reinforced membrane designed specifically for use within mechanically fixed applications. The non-wick polyester fabric gives the membrane inherent tensile strength which is required to facilitate the use of steel fasteners to restrain the system against wind uplift. Mechanically fixed systems can be cost effective solutions, and are ideal where lightweight constructions are considered. Colours: white, grey.

Monarplan G Membrane with a glass reinforcement encapsulated between two layers of extruded PVC. The membrane is manufactured with a fungicidal additive and is specifically designed for use within ballasted or green roof constructions where the membrane is buried. Monarplan G is resistant to micro organism attack and can provide a long lasting waterproof solution for roof areas that need to be waterproofed fast. Colour: grey.

Ballasted system The Monarplan PVC G membrane is loose-Iaid and welded together at the overlaps prior to the application of the ballast which holds the membrane in place. This method offers maximum restraint to wind uplift and fast application times, while providing protection from mechanical and solar/UV damage. A separation layer (PE foil) is required and an additional protection layer may be required beneath the ballast material to protect the underlying layers from damage.

Adhered system Fully adhered systems are more commonly used above concrete substrates where the process of installing mechanical fixings is invasive and labour intensive. Fully adhered systems are reliant upon suitable weather conditions (which should be considered). However, complex geometries and pitched surfaces can be accommodated with great success. Fully adhered membranes can also provide a superior surface finish.

This method of application involves the use of thermally broken fasteners fixed at pre-determined centres and is a fast and cost effective method of installing the single ply membrane which is less dependent upon amicable weather conditions.

Description

Waterborne, single component roof coating. It is a tough, flexible material, which displays excellent UV and ozone resistance, it is generally used in conjunction with Sealoflex Pink® and Sealoflex Fabric™ to form a fully adhered single ply roofing membrane. Sealoflex Finish Coat™ is also used extensively as a protective coating to existing and new roofing materials such as single ply, modified asphalt membranes, and metal roofs.

Liquid sealant made of MS polymer, designed to waterproof gutters, planters,localised areas and channels. It forms a homogenous, elastic waterproof and anti-roots film. It is solvent-free, single component, ready to use and quickdrying. Perfect for planted areas, roofs and terraces.

ReflectoWhite*

Highly Reflective Protective Roof Coating, waterborne, single component. It is a tough, flexible material, which displays good UV and ozone resistance. ReflectoWhite™ is used as a protective coating to existing roofing materials such as single ply, modified asphalt membrane and metal roofs. Creates a Cool Roof effect protecting the roof from excessive sun heating.

Fondafor

Torchable SBS elastomeric bitumen membrane for exterior waterproofing of underground walls. Single ply application. Membrane top surface with slate flakes, under face with fusible film. Contains anti-root additive.

Parafor Ponts SBS elastomeric bitumen compound membrane with a high performance non woven polyester reinforcement and surfaced with white ceramic granules. To be used in single-layer system fully-torched onto the bridge deck including the Siplast Primer and the Parafor Ponts membrane. The membrane directly receives the wearing course (bituminous mix). New! Available now with Echo-Detect Radar technology for civil engineering: this system is composed of a 2 cm wide and 12 μm thick polyester aluminized stripe integrated inside the membrane that allows the location and identification of bituminous waterproofing membranes under the wearing course. The Echo-Detect technology enables bridge detailed analysis for preliminary diagnosis before the maintenance work for wearing courses and waterproofing membranes.
