TRANSMUTATED HANOK
DESCRIPTION
Before Western modern architecture was imported, the characteristics of traditional Korean architecture called ‘hanok’ are structurally divided into three parts. stylobate - column - roof Each part is attached and assembled vertically without the use of any external joints such as screws. This project pursues a three-dimensional transformation of the exterior of traditional Korean architecture in various scales.
