About our theme: We started issue 15.1 in late August with the idea that Summer Nights would be our theme. Song lyrics would have composed the suns and clouds to go with the spirit songs. However, we quickly realized that using song lyrics would violate a few copyright laws. So, we scrapped the idea and decided to go with a summer vs. fall theme. The suns reflect on all of the fun ER students had in the warm weather, while the clouds represent the coming rainy seasons of Washington and the start of school. The front and back covers were designed by Co-Editor-in-Chief Brynn Adams.
