CURRICUL WHO AM I? I am a fourth year, VIIth sem undergraduate architecture student at KLE Technological University , Hubli A keen observer and an active explorer , who loves to travel through uncharted places. I am intrigued by the design of things around me and how it shapes the thought process of an indivitual. I am always motivated to learn new things and try to subtly present my best. I totally believe sky has no limits and there is always a scope for improvement.

SLUM REHABILITATION

AFFORDABLE HOUSING INTRODUCTION AND BREIF To build afforable houses for rehabiliatation of hosur slum at kusugal road, hubli for nearly 200 families along with other amenities The proposed scheme can consist of three types of housing units ranging in the area of 50 sq.m - 75 sq.m catering to 75- 800 members of the community Also to find solutions from traditional architecture for contemporary needs and callenges in housing for economically concerned people

CONCEPT AND DESIGN NARRATIVE Envelope of greenspace A building envelope is commonly defined as the separation of the interior and exterior of a building.Building envelope separates indoor environment from outside environment aswell as provides the comfortable indoor environment through an appropriate balance of passive and active technology to promote sustainability, building envelope, energyefficiency, users. building envelopes prevent airl eaks,as well as control internal airpressure, quality and temperature. Accounting for natural ventilation, minimizing drafts and leaks, and using energy efficien twin dows, insulation and sealants are all important aspects of building envelope design

HOSPITALITY SPACE DESIGN

3 STAR HOTEL INTRODUCTION AND BREIF The aim of this project looked at architecture and spaces that are open to the public at large. Eventually to design a space that is visually and functionally sensitive which mainly focused to make socially inclusive spaces that add the activation of urban life for its users and advance placemaking in the city. Also , innovating spaces and programmes for hosting events such as conventions and conferences which are flexible and serves as an optimal resource

CONCEPT AND DESIGN NARRATIVE The main aspects which I considered while designing was mainly comfort , easy access , luxury and the required faciliites which the guest wants . Also I wanted to create a space which has a local essence with contrast which luxury. Since the location of the site was 500m away from airport, a brief criteria and bylaws was to be followed while designing. Therefore my conceptual idea was to create pacemaking , sustainability , authencity , mixed use space and mobility.

SITE LOCATION :Gokul road, opposite to foundation of sandbox , near Hubli International airport , gokul village Hubli LATITUDE :15.3647’ N LONGITUDE : 75.1240’E

HUBLI, KARNATAKA

FORM DEVELOPMENT:

The access to all the spaces from a single node was the idea , so basically creating simple T form and contrasting it with a wind-mill alike shape makes the form of the design which is focussed on mainly mobility and accessibility. This simple formation gives the idea of the outline of the plan deesigned. FORM

INTERIOR DESIGN

BACHELOR PAD FOR A CRICKETOR INTRODUCTION A bachelor pad is essentially an apartment rented by a single man or shared by a group of unmarried friends. This residence generally has less personal space than a two-bedroom apartment or starter home for young icons, with some rooms performing double duty as a bedroom, living room, dining room or den. A bachelor pad can also function as a man cave, a living space filled with sports memorabilia, video game systems. Oversized televisions and a generoUS SUpply of beer and other adult-level amenities. This residence usually functions as the social epicenter of former college friends and co-workers looking for a place to unwind. These apartments are often located in less desirable parts of a city. which means the monthly rent is more affordable and the tenant/landlord relationship less formal.

DESIGNING A BACHELOR PAD FOR INDIAN CRICKETER SHREYAS IYER Shreyas lyer is an Indian cricketer who plays for India in international cricket, Mumbai in domestic cricket and capfains Delhi Capitals in the Indian PremierLeague.

Understanding his favourites from the scratch , his likings and his personality, coming up with the design programme and all the essential spaces to his lifestyle was to be curated and designed. The main focus was on the fitness neccessaries for a sportsman whether it is a ice bath or a specialised gym was the core of the design. The proposed design should be convicing and acceptable to the celeb as he will be the user.

GIVEN PARAMETERS AREA 11O SQ. FEET

LOCATION-PENTHHOUSE IN 23RD FLOOR CONCEPT SPACES LINKED BY A COMMON SPACE: This is an interesting relationship in the design. In this the space linking the common spaces is greatly relied upon for the interpretation nof all of the linked spaces. this sort of space can also be looked at as a focal point. the spacesthat share this common focal point of connection also have unique relationships with each other.

THEME:

Minimalist interior design is very similar to modern interior design and involves using the bare essentials to create a simple and uncluttered space. It’s characterised by simplicity, clean lines, and a monochromatic palette with colour used as an accent. It usually combines anopen floor plan, lots of light, and functional furniture, and it focuses on the shape, colour and texture of just a handful of essential elements

COLOUR PALETTE AND FURNITURE

Simple minimalist furniture with either 2 or 3 colours is being used to give a sense of warm and peace to the spaces Since this bachelor pad is not a full -time habitet space , to avoid less maintainance ,thus minimalism comes for the rescue

FISH SKULL CHAIR CONCEPT

460

900

The main concept was to create a chair which is uniquie in existence , adds a sense of aesththics and most crucial should be relaxing and comfortabe . Inspired by the ribs and skull of a cal fish , This chair gives a look of vintage yet modern and elegant. This chair can be user friendly in theme based beachside lounge , outdoor patio, theme bars and in restobars.

MATERIAL + COLOUR Creating a complementary look by combing these 3 type of wood i.e, gunstock , horizontal cedar and wild cherry natural base and also installing a good quality cushion on hassock for comfort is a must
