Design Task- Blue Beans Task Brief_01 :- #MASKINDIA is a new campaign and a creative solution to help mask the nation. Needed to create design solutions that brings awareness by submiting 2 original creations using any design tool,showcasing the strength of ideas and designs that solves a purpose in today's world. Task Brief_02 :- TOSSIN PIZZA RE-IMAGINED! Tossin is synonymous with gourmet-ish pizzas with a cult following. Needed to study and create new Identity for it by submiting original logo interpretations, packaging and application ideas, and a re-imagined social mediauniverse for Tossin.
The most effective way I thought was to use the original masks and create something around it. And thus this idea stuck on me. I created two kind of approaches and took the original photographs of the masks.

Design Solution:- #MASKINDIA is about creating awareness regarding how Masks are our wellwishers aswell as are protectors. These all design interpretations talk about how mask is your cover protected shield holding you tight against attacks and how it makes you your own care taker from the current situations. Lastly, the face swap shows how MASKS save you and your pretty world and leaves with a questions of what will people choose for themselves.
Baked in Brick Oven Products used to create the pizza are all fresh and high in quality.
Brand Story- Seeded by duo in Gurgoan. Firstly was a takeaway joint and now is a 50 seater restaurant. 4 people thereafter who were friends took over it and became 4 pillars of Tossin.

“TOSSIN PIZZA” was created for bringing the experience of the best Gourmet house of Pizzas. Tossin by it’s name suggests tossing the dough. This brand has two main aspects of it’s characteristics :- The first concerning the skills needed to craft this unique masterpiece of art by the chef and
the other is the wide variety of this brand which offers numerous options to clients and is one stop solution to all cravings. Thus, this rebranding provides both aspect in play.
Design Task- Specscart UK Task Brief_01 :- Clipping path - Transform the raw image of our product into a white background mage. Task Brief_02 :- Social Media Post- Using the same edited image of the product (from Task1) - Try to place it on any background in square dimension , so that it feels natural and appealing. Task Brief_03 :- Draw any illustration that inspires the role of glasses. It can be fashion or eye-care oriented, as per your choice.

Design Solution:- The designs are created keeping in mind the simplicity the brand owns and thus, a minimal style is given to them. Along with it the nature, flowers and plants are used to depict the subtle, soft nature of the procrss of cleaning glasses which metaphorically resembles for preventing the glases to scratch.
Design Task- Dear Chocolate Task Brief_01 :- On a 8 inches * 3.75 inches canvas, create an illustration for Father's Day.
Task Brief_02 :- Keep a tab of no. of hours you put on the above task (from conceptualization till execution) and share the same.
Task Brief_03 :- Go through the Happyness website in detail and suggest few areas of improvement.
The Task of creating the Father’s Day illustrations was created keeping in mind the genericity of the designs the company already have. I tried finding few pointers of the visual style and tone of designs and made notes to keep myself on track. I made a moodboard of what is father for all and tried to create some CUTE moment out of it.
Design Solution:-
I believe that there are numerous moments to celebrate but giving the clients a number of variety in terms of illustrative packaging for a single moment would help to gather more eyeballs. As me as a consumer wants more & more to see & choose from the collection for example:- Like for the moments for father’s day, a person may like to buy with the illustration of remembering & cherishing old melting moments but can also show a dad’s sacrifice for his kids or a father being a superhero or someone wants to gift chocolate to his grandfather or maybe the father in law. So some dynamic choices would be loved. For the website the initial slideshow animation is really quick, the timing for it could go a bit slow. Collection for moments on website talks about more than 200 moments but the options are missing as a viewer would love to buy more when he/she gets more visual options on screen. Thus, I think the website layout should be in a way where people can clearly see the illustrations from the moments page and see more or all of 200 of it. Solution or suggestion for the same can be a kind of slideshow for a specific moment or Using Card approach in UI for the different moments for giving much cleaner look make it easier to browse (giving easy usability benefits) .It also looks perfect on any screen and used in responsive designs . For packaging I would like to suggest that it would be really great that the packaging help us to gain something from it like a removable keychain or a package created in a way that can be turned into a mobile holder or a detachable bookmark etc. This helps people to regain something out of the illustrations & moment memories of the chocolate. For website- while letting it be the simpler & minimalistic designs, it would be great if you add certain dynamism in the UI as well as the illustration snippets like some motion graphic but a minimal yet effective approach because right now the elements as well the UI is very static. It may help to bring life on website. The last the most important thing is the missing of the search button on the website. The search button is really very important to find certain moments to gift etc. Could also ideate more of how to create such search button.

The brand name Happyness, is written with a ‘Y’ that stands for - your happiness i.e. personal to you.
The core model is based on importance of small moments in life and associated happyness with it. It targets amalgamation of gifting of greetings and sweet chocolates in one product. In other words storytelling is an important aspect to its identity.

Happyness- Roles & Structure Design Brief Rules :- We were assigned different briefs, whereby were required to manage the target of 1 design per day.
Products were the major priority - as were established on E-commerce channels and we could get instant design reviews.
Needed to revisit the Brand Guide for consistent designs - But room for fresh idealogy was open in terms of design ideation and the major design style was fixed.
Though handling individual series, the design feedbacks, critique and design ideas within the group and collegue was very important.
For effective time management, rather than wasting time in creating different ideas, I structured my process of first finalising the rough idea or story through moodboards or sketches and then finally working on it as a final piece.

Thus the very aspect of designs were - CUTE but keeping the TG in mind it should not be childish or caricaturish, rather be matured, simple & cute. All communications on whatsapp group and if required on Zoom Call meeting.

Work Life Series Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having you as my Boss”.
Design Solution:-
Creating design for a corporate sector means formal look and feel. For “Boss” it could be either a male or female and needed to make 2 designs for same. Instead I came up with an idea of only using the hand or arm of a boss. KEYWORDS/ QUALITY OF A GOOD BOSS - 1) Leader, 2) Mentor, 3) Provides Direction in Life. Thus, with the idea of good leader and path provider, I had to connect the written message with the idea so I changed it to “ Happyness is in working with The Best Boss Ever.” And With Design I needed to highlight the corporate sector &highlight the boss The Fnal Concept talks about a GOOD BOSS IS A GOOD LEADER who is a great , true and best leader supports the employess and enlightens ones life.

Task Brief :- “Happyness is in working with The Best Team Ever”.
Design Solution:-
The Best Team in worklife is about strategised team who always achieve the heights with its teamwork power. Keeping this in mind I tried conceptualising a team in work environment with both men and women as a part who are strategising or planning a goal together with their hands together. And the hands when together creates fire that ignites the rocket. So rocket here is a metaphor of achieving the hardest things in a great team. The communication was changed according to concept - “Happyness is in achieving goals with the best team ever.” Also the style of all the designs in this series have same visual placements.

Task Brief :- “Happyness is in working with The Best Colleague Ever”.
Design Solution:-
The criterias for best colleague were multiple and thus, I ideated multiple concepts showing “Coworker who becomes a friend”, “Colleague as a great person to work with who also helps you to grow”, “Could also show happiest hours with coworker at work”, etc. I most important decision was to make a generic design for both male & female coworker so nothing had to be gender oriented, thus solution was to not show faces. Secondly, there were soo many aspects to a best coworker but more genric was working happily together in a work environment. So, the final concept was a bottom view from a ant point of view that would show 2 coworkers in a work environment shaking hands with eachother as a gesture of partnership nd friendship aswell.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in welcoming you aboard”.
Design Solution:-
The best way to create designs in a limited time frame is to use assets from the previous work and arrange it in a manner that brings benefits to your design. Thus, playing with smart work rather than hardwork was a learning I executed in this design. Onboarding is all about a warm and comfort welcoming. The design for welcoming aboard was simple where I thought welcoming can be done by employes aswell as the boss itself. Text was directly written on the board held by employess as a tricky way to no repeat sentences. And a happy welcoming face of boss helps in showing a great welcome. the setup was done of inside an office kind of environment to give look and feel of corporative sector.
Task Brief :- “Worklife & Family Icons to be made for Website ”. Design Solution:-
The most important was to know the UI Design for website, I tried understanding the icons and decoded them creating similar ones which would look exactly of the same family.
I sketched out laptop, work bag, tie that represents work life but Tie was finalised as a symbol of Professionalism. Family was well reprrsented in simple ways by a home and thus, created a minimal home for icon.
Family Series Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having Best Sister”.
Design Solution:-
The major challenge in sister stories was the different interpretations of Sister. A sister’s chocolate can be gifted by a sister to her sister or a brother to her sister and vice-versa fr brother. Thus, initial ideations of a story scenario where a sister is shown with a sibbling won’t make any sense. Secondly, a great challenge was that we don’t know who is gifting to whom like Elder to Younger or Younger To Elder. Thus, creating a generic design was difficult taking in consideration the age, characteristics and combinations of sibblings in mind. Thus, I thought of creating a very simple design where a sister’s back is shown which visually doesn’t define any age. It shows the crazy factor in a sister and creating the flowers around her shows more feminine but also adds some tenderness, softness and love care feeling to the family series. Combining it with the placement of sister on the first position talks all about the Bestest factor of her. I tried various visual style in bg such as gradient effect with grain texture to give a rich effect on a simple illustrations in these series.
Looking onto all the factors I came up with the idea of showing a sister on 1st Position with different faces of her representing her characteristics like- Crying or Annoying, Funny and crazy, her puppy face and her selfless loving nature. But eventually it became a complex idea to execute.
These were some references of the characteristics of a sister butwould only resonate with ones who had a elder sister so, the essence of sister was extracted from these illustrations.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having the best brother”.
Design Solution:-
The Brother illustration was totally dependant on sister’s story approach so taking in considerations all those factors I represented the brother with a crazy dab pose that is famous and trending for a boy. Thus the face is hidden just the pose is shown effectively. By making him stand on 1st position talks all about the best brother in the world.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having the best daughter”.
Design Solution:-
This design for best daughter was a story indicating that a “Daughter is someone you laugh with, dream with & love with all your heart.” So the concept of showing a father mother playing with their daughter was an ideal approach. The story was questioned for just a gift for younger daughters but on my defense I tried to put the essence of story to be like a childhood memory of parents with their daughter also for the parents their daghter and son however big and older they become always remains their small child only. Thus, this concept was choosen, the daughter is highlighted to maximum with showing more cuteness over her face with lesser of frame with parents.
The references for a daughter keeping in mind that what if a father gifts or a mother so created both parents.
The learning here was to understand a layman’s POV and it is important to eliminate unnecessary elements & being minimal.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having the best son”.
Design Solution:-
Similar approach was taken for Best son like Best
Daughter aswell. The designs went like the mom and son had a colour tone of a south asian and dad looks like mohammedan. Where I tried to put a conversation about the Unity and why does that matter But considering the vast TG the thought of neutral faces help everyone related to any place or religion could relate to these illustrations and stories.
The illustrations are created like this by me and the best way to effectively create uniformity in designs are to use the same colour complexion tones and shades of the other illustrations and also efficient way is to use the existing elements so that time is not wasted to make a new alltogether.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having the best Grandparents”.
Design Solution:-
Grandparents stories are just like a childhood memories with our “Dadu & Dadi”. Those time spent, bed time stories, cute kissing and care of the grandchild are always cherished even if the grandchild becomes an adult he/she will always remeber those cutechildhood memories with grandparents. Ideally looking from the business point of view grandmother’s & grandfather’s stories had to be 2 separate illustrations as a customer would buy 2 of them. So, playing trickily I made these stories free from gender bias and generic. Used small kids barely visible with grandparents as a childhood memory to cherish. I realised that the moodboards even had grandparents out of India and Grandparents in India have a lot of difference in visual outlook. Thus, Indianising the illustrations was very important.
The hair style, hair colour, clothing colour was purposely chosen according to Indianising these Grandparents. There were slight feedbacks , before creating mockups for the designs we certainly have feedback sessions in our group aswell as by laymans and potential customers to looks how they interpret these designs. By which way It gave me clearer picture of how I get totally lost in illustrations while creating them that I couldn’t find any of the perspective differences. But Layman’s feedback helps a lot to look design from the other view , sometimes it is really hard to accept the changes but sometimes it creates a great impact on designs.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having the best Husband/ Wife”.
Design Solution:-
The married couple would gift eachother the design thus, creating a single for both husband and wife was an idea by changing the communication to “Happyness is in having you as my Life Partner.” The design was thoughful and simple with a sweet story behind of understanding that Best Husband is aperson who helps his wife or supports in every activity but this story wasn’t resonating with the other people. Thus, a story of a couple spending their sweet time together in their own private room. The couple of elements were taken and combined as adesign like - Sweet time together, privacy, a marriage evidence. So, by ombining these things together we created a minimal yet impactful design. This design was liked by soo many people and became a best seller aswell.
Many stories talked more about marrying stage and less about already married stage
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having the best Cousins”.
Design Solution:-
The Idealogy behind a great story for cousins is differentiating cousins with any friends. I realised that the fact where friends and cousins can be differentiated is the AGE. The cousins have fun and togetherness since childhood. Childhood is the target of this story which could show the cousins & their relationship. I followed the trend of the BEFORE AND NOW series and recreated the memories all in one story.
Special Days Series Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having Best Teacher - Happy Teacher’s Day”.
Design Solution:-
Teacher’s Day illustration was quite tricky as there were a lot of directions to look at lik- A mother or anyone can be a teacher, a teacher is a motivator, guides you, someone who gives unconditionally & in India a teacher is a “GURU”. Also there are so many different teachers that we needed a neutralised idea. So, after a great discussion of who are we targetting and who all are going to gift to whom we concluded to create 2 concepts one was of my ideology and the other of the need of the client and layman. Concept_01- Talks about how any teacher acts like a growth agent who waters the plants in ones heads and help them grow. Concept_02- Is the recreation of a famous illustration itself of different teachers making a ladder for a child to climb ahead in life. I wanted fresh ideas to take a leap but the conceptualised theme was not very clear to the layman and client thus, had to fix with the older one only.
Task Brief :- “Designs for Faewell, Goodbye and Promotion”.
Design Solution:-
Designs for Goodbye , farewell and Promotion was very generic in nature keeping in mind the wishes part of it. Farewell was party, allthe best feel with best wishes for new phase. Whereas goodbye was more like a saying bye to someone you had a great time . Promotion was more like reaching heights in career. The designs were neutral, minimal and generic , anybody could relate along with it the contect and messaging was tricky.
You & Me Series Task Brief :- “Happyness is in having Best Boyfriend & Girlfriend”.
Design Solution:-
The Girlfriend and boyfriend illustrations make customer feel a story of great poses or great times with their partners together. It has subtle visual elements that brings Romance, Love , Care & Intensity in play. The Girlfriend design went through itterations with the Girl’s pose. Sir wanted it to be more modern and pretty but I agrued about should not idealise beauty standards and every character I draw have its own characteristsics. But The fact the client asked me to still do change it was from the consumer standpoint. People would relate to a girl who looks more young and active rather than a mature looking girl.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in Being Engaged to you”.
Design Solution:-
The Fiance Chocolate was a must design which was later ideated by me. I tried to look through all the stages of a relationship in You and Me section and came up with this story. The story depicts an engaged couple and the look and feel to illustration is given like a party or a function where the things glitter and shines.
Task Brief :- “Designs for Inviting to our Wedding & Perfect Date”.
Design Solution:-
For Perfect Date - A date is always perfect with a great ambience, food, location and a soothing time with the partner. Considering this imn mind I created an amazing setup for a perfect date story. For Inviting to our Wedding- I illustrated the Bride & Groom with a great decor, but the client raised a question of if the couple donot relate to this illustration and wanted to prefer the symbols or elements that just represent wedding. I thought this to be more value as marriage in India is represented majorly with this but I do consider to create amother design with just a simple invite.
Task Brief :- “Designs for Crush on You & New House”.
Design Solution:-
Design Crush On You - is created for both a boy having crush on a girl and vice versa. So, Crush on you depicts a very beautiful story of just admiring the other person in a very cute way. Here the eyes becomes prominent as usually we never showed eyes but this design demands intricate details over Eyes. For design New House- It refered to more like a dream home everyone dreams of but more like a soothing and perfect place with peace and greenary all over. Showing the hand with keys of house totally depict that the house is bought.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in Being Pampered By You”.
Design Solution:-
Pampering always refers to the other way of loving eachother, caring for someone you love and moreover taking care or loving in a different way or could say other means of saying I LOVE YOU. Thus, making eachother eat with their own hands show a gesture of pampering eachother.
Task Brief :- “Happyness is in Your Smile”.
Design Solution:-
The Smile refers to the best emotions for both partners experiencing together. Here the smile is shown on both faces depicting that the couple is having a great amazing and lovely time together which can bring sweet smiles on their faces.
Single Series Task Brief :- “Happyness is in Being Single”.
Design Solution:-
The Single series was again the best sellers and loved by many from business point of view. The design was simple yet impactful to look at. The representation of BEING SINNGLE= SELF LOVE & SELF SUFFICIENT and the designs had to be created individually for both boy and girl. The environment is all about “ME TIME”, evergreen nature, loving oneself ambience with a lots of self loving or self enjoying poses.
Motivational Series Task Brief :- “Design for Things are going to get better”.
Design Solution:-
The motivational series are the ray of hope. Telling someone that hings are going to get better tomorrow is the best motivation anyone can give to their special people. Thus, Understanding the story for brighter tomorrow is inspired by nature. As the darkness surrounds someone in the forest the sun comes over as a ray of hope to enlighten ones path. And that’s how we got a story to convey from our messages. As the illustrations or story developed it was necessary to change the content according to the communications we are providing so we changed it to - Tomorrow will be Brighter.
Task Brief :- “To create designs for stages in achieving one dream”.
Design Solution:-
The most tricky idea was in creating the dreams stories. The best route was for me to cater them as a 3 serie designs showing the start, journey and end result of a person trying to achieve his/ her dream. These all are the stages to the achievement of goal. I created an effect of the day passing by and the person who started from early moring who has found the path to his dreams move towards going after it since afternoon and then finally in evening he reaches to his goal. The content was again a major aspect for designs thus were thoughtfully arranged according to te storyline.
Finding the way to your dream was initially planned as going where noone has gone before, but after a lot of ittirations we concluded to the final content that matches well with design.
Initially for Going after your dreams I thought of a different approach but ended up it in a series of stories.
Task Brief :- “Designs for hobbies like cycling & Biking”.
Design Solution:-
The designs for cycling and biking were about a professional TG who used to go on hiking and all within groups or individually. Thus, keeping those stories in mind I tried creating these visuals.

Design Solution:-
These designs are the mandatory ones for any chocolate company. The series of Valentin’s day have numerous stories to celebrate so this is were I recreated the old version to new ones.

04_Instagram Series Packaging Ideas
Task Brief :- “To Promote Designs on Instagram Platform”. I created some insatgram 3-grid and 9-grids similar to the Insta style of the brand. I even tried to pitch the idea of Animation & Motion graphics slightly from the illustrations aswell. But due to business point of view it wasn’t a priority. The client do not want to effect the product’s sale. He wanted to take a strategical approach while wasting time in animation he wanted to provide that time in the product stories.

Task Brief :- “To think about packaging the box for multiple bars. I took packaging basic inputs from my mentor for understanding the basics of packaging. I tried to give some inputs in packaging like if the existing packaging could be sustainable - means reused in any other form by the customers. After getting fair idea for the packaging design, I tried to put on all my initial thoughts over it started to look onto all good works done for packaging designs for chocolate. The first thing was to look onto the packaging for multiple bars stack which can be thereafter use as a box or a holder on the tables or etc.

Packaging project was incomplete due to certain tough times and business issues, I was asked not to work on priority for the packaging yet but the products more from business point of view. But whatever I tried looking onto or thinking about packaging were as follows1.) Thought if using the Local approach of the chocolate that it is Highle Artisinal Coverture chocolate and comes from a certain part of world , could highlight that in packaging. 2.) I wrote down some pointers or questions for research like Who is the audience?, What is the chocolate market in India?, Who are the compititors, What is the emotional connect with the brand?, etc. 3.) I tried to look onto trends in chocolate market packaging. This was overall an incomplete project but in future could work later to improvise ideas for sure.

RAGE CHOCLATIERS - website research for “YOU & ME” sectionlooking for what we can create. & Case Study for what else we can incorporate in our Happyness stories, what are we missing out. I also gave a thought to start section for LGBTQ community, Countdown seris aswell.
Zodiac Series- Coordination for ideation with Ishwin. I tried looking about Constellations -there are elements like dates, constellation for the particular sign, colour pallte for a specific sign and the personality traits. Suggested -Like you can also combine few elements and make an illustration for a specific sign. These are some references for visual design. Check out can take some elements from them nd delete few just to show how rich illustration can get aswell.
Countdown Series- The ideology for showing numbers in cute way.
I tried giving the idea of using the hour glass effect- can be shown like the sand moving at the bottom the number is appearing out of it or like the sand slightly moving down with the numbers getting closer.
Location Series- Coordination for ideation with Ishwin. I jotted down few common elements - Colour ( specific to a city), local places(famous), maps of the city, famous dialogues - in their language, specific lines for the city(eg, Ye Dili hai mere yaar, yahan Ishk Mohobbat, Pyaar), Vehicles & local things happening.

Task Brief :- “Wedding invite for Bride and Groom”.
Design Solution:-
Created an illustrated invite for a couple and a small whatsapp video from both Groom & Bride’s side. I created a common theme for both of the person that could be used for both parties and the songs or the writeup could be changed or altered. I created the content, entire illustrations, the minor animations and entire compositions with sounds in a week (Even with the illness). The design of this video was influenced by what functiomns does the cuple wanted to display. There is one night scene for dinner and the morning scene for Wedding. I ideated the wedding as a Morning Autum September wedding - which is visually impacting the visuals and animations of flowers falling. I created very rough storyboards for me to visualise the animations. I kept one screen for Save the Date, then the card content, then the Night Couple and lastly the marriage information. The project was to be completed in limited time frame so the animations and the slides were approached in that manner only.
STORY BOARDS & CONTENT
There was a huge learning and insights in writting the content. I was totally dependent over the client for the write-up so didn’t paid much heed but there were much content mising. I should initially get that proof checked in a rough draft rather than changing the entire wedding videos.
PROCESS
Got a lot of pictures of bride and groom with many different poses.To captre the real essence of them.
