BASORDA Kw/m2 Lemoniz, Bizkaia, Spain Basorda Kw / m2 is a project located in one of the few spaces of direct contact with the sea that has the coast of Vizcaya, a space unjustly snatched by the implantation of a nuclear power station at the end of the Franco dictatorship. Basorda Kw / m2 through the reappearance of water and nature regains the currently inexistent relationship between object and environment, thus being able through intervention in the landscape and architecture to regenerate the space and ways for the possible and necessary energy transition .
The former Basorda cove, nowadays Nuclear power station, is located in the municipality of Lemoiz, Vizcaya, a space located on the coastline, a place of transition, where the approach by land and sea is so important. The Gulf of Bizkaia has always been a place of great connection with the sea, both as an important fishing area and one of the great ports of international transport.
This relationship with the sea allowed cities such as Bilbao to be also large industrial and steel manufacturing cities. Today, however, as industry and fishing decline, many of the fishing ports are now marinas and the connection to the sea change of perspective towards leisure and energy production.
Lemoiz, belonging to the region of Uribe Costa is located between 2 very important points of the Vizcaina coast, 26 km from Bilbao and 30 km from the Urdaibai and Gernika biosphere reserve. Access to Basorda’s creek wing in Lemoiz is only possible by two means. By means of public or private sea transport, or by land via the BI-3151 road.
This part of the coast Vizcaina given its orography raises a façade of cliffs which causes that there are few spaces of direct contact with this one. Precisely this road BI 3151 runs all the coast from the reserve of Urdaibai to the capital of province. In its course, in those few points where sea and land are at the accessible quota, there are the emblematic spaces of Bizkaia .
The old cove of Basorda, present Central Nuclear is located in an area of little urbanity, population and connections. The nearest municipality is 6 km, a small fishing village that is Armintza The presence of fresh water is abundant and evident. On one side are the rivers Zabala and Artadiko that supply water Urbieta reservoir, built to supply drinking water to the installation of the plant. On the other hand, we find the Merdeka and Momategui streams that formerly flowed into the Basorda cove, causing the appearance of marine species such as barnacles or shellfish, nowadays disappeared, since these 2 rivers are found in galleries underground under the nuclear power plant who intended to use this water to start it.

LEMOIZ NUCLEAR POWERPLANT
The old Basorda cove, actual nuclear power station of Lemoiz, is situated in the municipality of Lemoniz, Biscay, in the north of Spain. It is a space located on the coastline, a place of transition, where so important is the approach by land as by sea. Today that the maritime industry has diminished many of the ports of this coast disappeared and the connection with the sea changed of perspective towards leisure and energy production, as for example, the platform BIMEP located in front of the nuclear power station as a prototype for oleomotor energy production. Lemoiz, is situated between 2 very important points of the Biscay coast, 26 km from Bilbao and 30 km from the Urdaibai reserve. The access to the cove of Basorda is only possible by secondary road or by sea. Since the abrupt orography causes a facade of cliffs to the sea, in this road we f ind those special points where sea and land reach their quota 0, making them the most emblematic points of the coast of Biscay, among them, THE NUCLEAR CENTER OF LEMOIZ .

Before 1972, the year of the beginning of the works, Basorda was a cove of diff icult access that the few villagers who lived near used for f ishing of seafood and leisure. Without prior notice and irregularly without proper permits, in 1972 Iberdrola, the electric company, begins the works of a nuclear power plant, the most powerful in Europe until then.
Therefore, today we are in a privileged and inaccessible space that is part of the memory of the Basque Country.
in 1973 the rumors of the construction of the nuclear power station reach the universities and ecological groups. Hard marches and mobilizations begin.

PERMEABILITY OF THE OBJECT
Partial demolition of the plant to release the ground f loor to allow natural access to nature and activity
REINTRODUCTION OF THE PARTS AS A VEGETABLE SUPPORT
Flooding of cooling towers so that after the encounter with nature becomes part of the new environment
BUT ... HOW DOES A NUCLEAR POWERPLANT WORK?
PROGRAM
In the plans of redrawing the powerplant a nuclear powerplant can be understood as an installation of constant water f low in the subsoil.
B
On the one hand, crosswise, sea water, which gets to feed the turbogenerators, passes underneath of the reactors to cool them and returns the water back to the sea. On the other hand, longitudinally, the fresh water of existing estuaries that serve to supply the central of drinking water. Basque energetic green and red points
SECTIONS The 21st century is the century of energy transition, and more than ever before, so that the new energies can not be speculative like the fossils, it requires transparency and citizen participation and discussion. That is why the nuclear plant becomes BASORDA KW.M2

The model combines the laser cutting system and 3d printing. This model represents the recovery of the natural space and above all the structural intervention of the project. On the one hand, the elements that remain standing of the nuclear power plant and on the other, in red color, the intervention of the mega-structures that generate the new architectural space.
BILBoH! Bilbao, Bizkaia, Spain The Bilboh! tries to adapt the concept of “hotel of the future towards a city, Bilbao, in complete transformation. Recalling its industrial past of blast furnaces and the manufacture of steel in the industrial port, for the project the concept of the cranes that still remain as traces of its past and the combination of uses, transport, managements ... of a a hybrid building that aims to represent the future of this changing city. There is a hotel, a 33-storey skyscraper that includes the city’s urban services, the arrival of the subway, the proximity to the new bus terminus, an entrance to the city, containing on the ground floor and the base of the building a convention center and nursery of companies that represents the arrival and the use of the new city. The hotel, apart from containing not only the rooms for guests, is a journey and constant flow of uses, from leisure to business, using the memory of leisure and business of the past to shape its architecture.
Bilbao. Founded in 1300, it has developed parallel to its industry and port, thus becoming the 19th century epicenter of iron and steel industry and heavy industry in the north of the Iberian peninsula. That port and industrial Bilbao that in pursuit of a new image of modernity and change has sold its essence. The GRUAS, the reinterpreted MEGASTRUCTURES, manage to evoke that nostalgic past while fulfilling its verticality
IRON ROAD CARAVANSERAI Eurasia 2020 Historical continuity of The Silk Road Rethinking Caravanserai uses means of transport as a unit in order to allow the historical continuity of the most important characteristic of the Silk Road , the Exchange. Movement city is created through a structure of steel with screwed unions built starting from a module 6 x 6 where is the placement to units that run along the entire path between the stations of Europe to Asia. Obsolescence 0 = sustainability Sustainability is based on the cycle, the nondisappearance of the function of each of the elements allows its sustainability. Rethinking Caravanserai is a constant cycle, the units move, manipulate and transform, building constructions that define a function, the building is building as the functions appear, and disappear once the need goes to an end.
Respectful with the environment during its construction The global city of the movement which we propose here is a sustainable city at the time of the construction, because there is only a single period of work (the construction base of steel), and a single means of transport for materials (high speed train). Railway is the only transportation and main tool of construction of these cities, there is no displacement by ground or truck. Units are built regardless of form prefabricated nearby factories via, are transported on the train and arrive to the structure, preventing consumption and disadvantages of construction work processes.

MEXICO SE MUEVE Eurasia 2020 Mexico Moves Barranca del Muerto is the last metro station of line 7 which makes this place an indispensable point for the mobility to the east of the city The City of 3 layers The property is located in the only point of the low bridge of the second floor of the periphery with possibility of pedestrian crossing. Therefore, the city reads in 3 layers, the subsoil (the subway), the level and the second plant (Periferico Highway) The City of the Future Within the imagery of the avant-garde architects of the twentieth century, Bakema and Van der Broek, Broadacre city, and H.Wiley Cadett, we have already found schematics on future cities of such characteristics
SEASIDE URBAN HOUSE IN BEGUR Begur, Catalunya, Spain “... FROM SEPTEMBER TO MAY ...” The construction of a simple dwelling can affect the municipality to which it belongs, as it happens in places like Begur. The massive parcelization of the land in its minimum occupation, exceed the limits, sporadic use ... isolates the municipality from its own environment. Taking into account references such as Casa Malaparte or Ruccelai Palace, objects that function not only as a building or private dwelling but also as an urban element, we could make a second reading of the program and allow the house also to function as an urban object. “... DOMESTICAR EL EXTERIOR ...” Through domestic elements like chimneys, ovens, picas ... Useful furniture to generate a dialogue between the urban object and the house. “... THE ULTIMATE RUIN ...” the good architecture is the one that ends up becoming ruin, the others, they end up disappearing, Rogelio Salmona Take advantage of the natural elements of the place and offer several possibilities so that it is flexible and useful in a long future.
URBAN INTERVENTION IN ROTTERDAM Rotterdam, Netherlands Rotterdam is a city in transformation, it leaves behind its industrial ppass to turn in the translational world of economic centers and of leisure. One of the most important areas to recover is its important port already obsolete after the change of economic model. The project proposes the recovery of spaces of the port reconnecting them with the city in bike lane buildings that in their step build the plot of the new housing and services building of this forgotten part of the city.
PROFESSIONAL AREA Selected drawings In the professional area I have been involved in multiple sectors and functions of the world of architecture. Above all I have always been linked to the world of prior design and image representation, although I have participated in several executive projects and today I am immersed in the deepest research on the new systems of representation and thought constructive like model BIM, Grasshopper or many others. This is a selection of images and projects in which I have participated actively.

I am part of the Astra coordinator of Gernika (Bizkaia). Astra reopened its doors as a factory of creation in the past 2012 and along with 2 more architects we are part of the work group of infrastructures. Between the three we proposed how this new space should be in terms of its distribution. A space of communication, without walls that helps to revive the wide diaphanous space without denying its post-industrial origin Therefore, we should make this a flexible space, adaptable to the different disciplines that were going to be carried out; from a mass concert, to a cycle of lectures, a cooking course to simply to “be. The project does not involve any watertight enclosure construction, the space is muted through a rolling shutter (for the gods that a drainage is needed) and those that we ended up naming as Astra tank.

The project tried to design and build the shopwindows of the clinics solving in each of them different problems. In the first, the question to be solved was the reflection and the distance from the street. Solved through huge light panels that punctually illuminate the necessary in a dark background. In the second clinic, the location is closer and local, a smaller scale. The customer approaches the product in a more pleasant way. A distribution of boxes is generated that allows the product to be illuminated in a dark background.
