Ideation Sketches
Chosen Idea The idea chosen was a 360-degree hologram. The reason why this idea was chosen was that only it was the only piece of virtual reality that allowed multiple people to view the projection at the same time, similar to how people would watch TV.

“To design a new helmet used for skateboarding that can be easily transported to and from an indoor or outdoor skatepark, lightweight so the user is not put off balance while skateboarding, comfortable so the user can wear the helmet for a long period of time and aesthetically pleasing so the user feels comfortable wearing it in front of peers without feeling the negative stigma around wearing a helmet.”

Skate Share Helmet Skate share is a helmet that you can rent out or Outdoor skatepark. This eliminates the need to bring a helmet to a skatepark and people to wear a helmet that is assessable

Ride
Find the skate racks at your local indoor or outdoor skatepark or search for a skatepark that has the skate racks installed. You will be able use the helmet if there is a helmet available on the rack.
Download the skate share app, fill in your card details and unlock the helmet using a QR code on t he he l m e t s s t r a p . The he l m e t w i l l b e charged at the rate of 50p per ride .
Once the helmet is unlocked then you will be able to use the helmet, adjust it to the required size and ride. After you have finished riding place the helmet back onto the skate rack. If helmet is not return the rack within 24 hours the user will be charged the price of the helmet.

Coke play is a VR platform where you use a coke bottle to control virtual reality games on your smartphone. Your smartphone’s camera tracks the light inside the coke bottle cap which controls the game you are playing.

Turn and learn is an educational toy for children to used to identify insects and learn the names of them. The child would spin around the cards and try to match the card with the insects they found. The child will be able to learn the names in a fun practical way.
