Malacca is located in the southwest of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Straits of Malacca. It borders Negeri Sembilan to the north and Johor to the south. The capital is Malacca City, which is 92 miles south east of Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur, 146 miles north west to Johor's largest city Johor Bahru. Jalan Hang Kasturi is located beside Jalan Hang Lekiu and Lorong Hang Jebat. It is intersected by 3 roads which is Jalan Hang Jebat, Jalan Tukang Emas and Jalan Tukang Besi.

Malacca is the oldest city in Malaysia, founded in 1403. Since the 16th century, has been invaded Portugal, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Japan. Part of the history of Malacca closely ties with China. Because of its strategic location, Malacca was an important stopping point for Zheng He's fleet. To enhance relations, Hang Li Po, the Princess from Ming Dynasty arrived in Malacca, accompanied by 500 attendants, to marry Sultan Manshur Shah who reigned from 1456 until 1477. Her attendants married locals and settled mostly in Bukit China. In such a historical background, so you can see more of the country-style building and society in Malacca today painted with Chinese culture.
