When designing this magazine as

a class assignment I was approach with pretty difficult task. Due to me being a junior designer learning the all the techniques and aspects of design to takes to make something appealing to the eyes of an audience. But the further I played around the sense of visual feel I was going for the more I had I was drawn to Stefan’s quotes such as

S

“Trying to look good limits my life”, “Money does not make me Happy” , “Having guts always works out for me”. These

thought resonated in my head for quite sometime providing inspiration towards the final product of this magazine. I had found that Stefan’s quotes are very interesting for myself think around the same perimeters. The theme I decided to choose came early on with the mon-

keys being placed in odd position while being placed in random places.

For maximum exposer to catch

as many peoples attention. Upon picking Stefan to do this magazine around off first interpretation of him i thought he was a bit odd. However oddness he has, i had found myself trying to put myself into the shoes he walks in. I realized that when a person walks a different path from what’s know to be normal they are the most interesting people to get to know. I personalty don’t know Stefan but looking at his works and putting together this magazine. Has helped me understand him as if to say that I have met him one before maybe in a different life. Stefan Sagmeister, an award winner, a graphic icon, a great man.
