Many believe that AI has the potential to revolutionize nearly all aspects of our lives. There are a few common myths about AI that need to be explained so that people have a better understanding of what AI isn’t.
Fact #1 AI Is Not Here to Replace All Jobs. This is perhaps the most common misconception. The narrative that some have been selling for years is that AI will come along and rob humanity of jobs. But this is simply not the case. Sure, there will be positions that can be automated due to artificial intelligence. But there are plenty of positions that will be created in fields that are just beginning to grow.
Fact #2 Super-Intelligent Computers Will Be Better Than Humans. Generalized AI takes a look at how machines are capable of applying themselves to a number of different tasks. Even though these machines are improving at learning different functions, it is unlikely that we will deal with super-humanlevel artificial intelligence.
