Interview With DJ Don Rivers! Meet DJ Don Rivers! Tell us a little about yourself. Don Rivers DJ in the Los Angeles, Hollywood scene I love to meet and work with new people. Dislikes: negative and not goal driven people What kind of art or performing do you do? DJing How long have you been doing this? 15 Years Where did your inspiration come from? Listening to local DJ’s on the radio. Do you remember the moment you fell in love with it? If so can you describe it? I remember being a kid and playing on my cousins turntables. What drew you to this particular field/talent? I love watching people dance and taking them on a musical journey. Tell us about your current projects or activities. I’m currently working on remixes also looking to get into the TV and film industry. My activities is mostly working, networking, and djing.
Which of your projects are you most proud of and why? My current project is working with my PM Artist team to find the next biggest venue to DJ at in the united states or international. Which of your projects do believe defines you as an artist the most? When your djing in front of hundreds or thousands of people it becomes your personal show for them, and that’s what makes you an artist. What sets you apart from other artists in your field? What sets me apart from other artist is me remixing different genres of music live and interacting with the crowd. What is one of your most memorable moments/experiences in your field? Watching the peoples facial expressions and them feeling themusic. Another thing is them coming up to you after the show to shake your hand and let you that they loved what you played tonight. What advice would you give yourself if you could go back in time to when you first started? I would have started even at a younger age. If you could be doing anything in your artistic/performing career right now, what would you be doing? Working more international events.
