Award Winning Whether it be onboard or ashore Celestyal is continuously being recognised for leading the way with over 60 accolades to its name in the past 5 years. Most notably Celestyal is proud to be recognised by Cruise Critic, the world’s largest cruise review site and a member of the TripAdvisor family for four years running (2019-2016) as the editors pick of ‘Best Cruise Line for Service’. Cruise Critic remarked that “These are happy ships and you can tell.” “It’s the little things - such as your steward making ever more elaborate towel animals because you’ve mentioned your kids love them, your waiter helping your child carry his plate at the buffet or an excursion team that goes out of the way to tailor an experience for you - that make a cruise line stand out in terms of service. Sailing with Celestyal is like coming home.” Celestyal has been recognised the last two consecutive years at the Solo Traveller Awards as the ‘Best Cruise Line for Solo Travellers’ due to our solo friendly fares and warm Greek hospitality ensuring you’re never solo, unless you chose to be. Additionally, in 2019 Celestyal was recognised at the Mare Nostrum Awards in Genoa for our leadership and honoured for overall contribution and commitment to the development of the cruise industry in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Whether you want a mini cruise across the beautiful Aegean or you have a yearning to travel further afield, you will be in the best possible hands. You can follow in the footsteps of the Ancient Greeks, Romans, Venetians, Ottomans and even St. Paul. We will take you to destinations as epic, diverse and exciting as Thessaloniki and Istanbul, Cairo and Cyprus, Rhodes and Crete, Volos, Jerusalem, Limassol and Mykonos. Idyllic Aegean 2021/2022 Day 1: Athens - We leave the historic and classical capital of Greece aboard the Celestyal Crystal and set sail on our overnight voyage to Turkey. Your first night will give you the opportunity to relax, indulge in our All-Inclusive hospitality and anticipate the adventures ahead on your very own Aegean Odyssey of discovery. Day 2: Kusadasi - Our morning arrival gives us all day in Kusadasi, plenty of time to explore the colourful beach town that is the coastal gateway to the Hellenistic ruins of Ephesus, famed for one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis. A complimentary excursion is included and is not to be missed. Day 3: Rhodes - If Kusadasi gave us just a glimpse of the Ancient World, then this destination leaves it to our imagination. The Colossus of Rhodes once bestrode the harbour but he is long gone. So you can take in the lovely Old Town, a maze of atmospheric cobbled streets that will transport you back to the Byzantine Empire and beyond. We have a whole day here, giving you plenty of time to discover the crystal clear waters, wonderful beaches and lush wooded valleys. Complimentary excursion to Lindos is included. Day 4: Crete (Agios Nikolaos) - The beautiful town of Agios Nikolas embraces the picturesque lake where Athena and Artemis were rumoured to have bathed and in more recent times where the Germans sunk their weapons when retreating from Crete in WWII The town is one that is typically found on the Greek island with neoclassical buildings, restaurants, bars and shops line the lakeside. Wander the streets and marina and soak up the sun in one of the many cafes.

Day 5: Santorini - Santorini is instantly recognisable and we are sure she will take your breath away, with her soaring landscapes, clusters of whitewashed houses in the capital Fira, incredible sunsets and of course the iconic blue-domed church at Oia. And don’t forget to try one of the many restaurants jostling for position at the edge of the caldera. In the evening you can explore at leisure or simply relax on deck sipping cocktails or a glass of fine wine. Day 6: Santorini/Milos/Mykonos - You may be asleep when we depart Santorini but we will be in Milos, the Island of Colours, at breakfast time. You will have time to explore the capital Plaka, 2,000 year old catacombs or simply soak up the sun on the flat rocks of stunning Sarakiniko Beach. The real beauty of this truly gorgeous island is to be found in its stunning landscapes, wind and sea sculptured rock formations, soft sandy beaches, secluded coves and crystal clear aquamarine waters. The island’s most famous export is the Venus de Milo. Day 7: Mykonos - The Island of the Winds awaits. We have a full day for sightseeing or just strolling through the atmospheric Old Town with its immaculate whitewashed houses, winding alleys, lovely little churches and delightful restaurants. You will undoubtedly recognise the picture postcard white windmills sitting side by side, overlooking the sea. You may want to see the ancient temples on neighbouring Delos. Day 8: Athens - We arrive back in Athens at 9am. For more information on all our excursions, please visit celestyal.com, ask your travel agent or click here to view our online brochure.

Eclectic Aegean 2021/2022 Day 1: Athens - We leave the historic and classical capital of Greece aboard the Celestyal Crystal and set sail on our overnight voyage to one of the most iconic and evocative places in the world, stunning Istanbul. Your first night will give you the opportunity to relax, indulge in our All-Inclusive hospitality and anticipate the adventures ahead on your very own Aegean Odyssey of discovery. Day 2/3: Istanbul - There is no place on earth like Istanbul. We have two days in this vibrant city. Included in your itinerary is a cruise on the Bosphorus and a visit to the Spice Market. The Greeks, Romans, Venetians and the Ottomans have all held sway over this city that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. You will see the stunning Sultan Ahmet (Blue) Mosque, Church of Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, Galata Bridge, Taksim Square and of course the incomparable Grand Bazaar. And all this just touches the surface of the place once known as Byzantium and Constantinople. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the great food in one the many buzzing restaurants. Day 4: Çanakkale & Troy - Most people know the seaport Çanakkale as the launching point for visiting the Gallipoli battlefields. It has charming and atmospheric cobbled lanes, which are a focal point for eating, drinking and lively conversation, so why not spend a little time here near saat kulesi (clock tower) and take it all in. It was in this region that Helle, the daughter of Athamas was drowned in the legend of the Golden Fleece. The city is the nearest major centre of population to the ancient site of Troy, immortalised by Homer in his epic poem, the Iliad. You will not be short of mythological associations in this part of our voyage.

Day 5: Thessaloniki - The thick Byzantine walls guarding Thessaloniki give way to an inviting mix of architectural landscapes with winding cobbled streets. Approaching the port, you will be captivated by a city that radiates culture and sophistication bathed in golden Greek sunshine. Beautiful churches appear from every corner, seasonal markets sell colorful local produce and shaded spots on Aristotelous Square are where you can sit back with a homemade ice cream and watch the world go by. Day 6: Volos - We arrive in the attractive coastal port city of Volos in the morning. The area’s background will captivate you and features in some of the most remarkable tales of Greek mythology. Volos was the mythical home of Jason and the Argonauts. The famous Argonaut expedition set sail from the region which was also the birthplace of the Centaurs, part human, part equine. There is also the opportunity to visit the monasteries of Meteora, perched on the top of vertical rock formations and a wonder to behold. Three Continents 2021/2022 Day 1: Athens - From the Greek capital, we embark in the evening on this exciting and evocative journey incorporating Africa, Asia and Europe, setting sail for Alexandria. Your first night onboard will give you the opportunity to relax, indulge in our All-Inclusive hospitality and anticipate the many adventures ahead on your very own voyage of discovery across Three Continents that captures the spirit of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Day 2: At sea - Time to enjoy the onboard activities. Day 3: Port Said - Sitting on the coast of the Mediterranean, the city was established in 1859 during the construction of the Suez Canal. It flourished for decades but its glory is a little faded. It still has an allure but the main attraction is the Suez Canal, with a raised pedestrian boardwalk running along the waterfront. If you want to travel a little further please join us on a complimentary excursion to Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza, the only one of Seven Great Wonders still standing. You will rejoin the ship in Port Said. Day 4: Ashdod - Today is a fleeting visit to the Holy Land. Diverse, modern-day Ashdod covers the land of two ancient twin towns, it’s the largest port in Israel and one of the oldest cities in the world. It was inhabited by the Philistines in Biblical times and when they captured the Ark of the Covenant from the Israelites, they brought it here (although they had to give it back.)

Ashdod is only 33 miles from historic Jerusalem so a trip to see the Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock, the Wailing Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Via Dolorosa and more of the most celebrated sites and buildings anywhere, can be arranged. Day 5: Limassol - This bustling tourist heart of Cyprus is full of character and history, not least the centuries-old Limassol Castle, home to the Cyprus Medieval Museum and its collection of pottery and tombstones. A short drive away is iconic Aphrodite’s Rock and the striking Crusader castle at Kolossi. The centre of Limassol buzzes with cafes, bars and restaurants that are as popular with locals as with visitors. You can take an excursion to Pafos to visit the UNESCO archaeological site and Aphrodite’s Rock. Day 6: Rhodes - The Colossus of Rhodes, the third of our Seven Wonders, once bestrode the harbour but he is long gone. So you can take in the lovely Old Town, a maze of atmospheric cobbled streets that will transport you back to the Byzantine Empire and beyond. Day 7: Kusadasi - We arrive in Kusadasi in the morning and enjoy a full day in this colourful Turkish beach town. This is the coastal gateway to the Hellenistic ruins of Ephesus, famed for the fourth of our Seven Wonders, the Temple of Artemis. A complimentary excursion is included and this is one of the numerous undoubted highlights of our trip. Day 8: Athens - We return to Athens after an epic journey. We hope it will have been a ‘Wonder’ for you. For more information on all our excursions, please visit celestyal.com, ask your travel agent or click here to view our online brochure.

Steps of Paul 2021/2022 Day 1: Athens - We begin our journey in the world’s ancient capital, the cradle of western civilisation and the birthplace of democracy. St Paul himself is likely to have arrived by ship at the port of Athens and he preached at Mars Hill (Aeropagus) near the heart of the city, the Acropolis. The Ancient Agora in the Plaka district was one of the many meeting places of the Apostle.

Day 5: Dikili - The port city of Dikili in Turkey is our stopping off point for Ancient Pergamon, once one of the most powerful Greek cities. Here was the northernmost of the seven churches of Asia Minor as cited in the New Testament Book of Revelation. After a visit to the Acropolis, we will visit the remains of Asklepion, a healing temple and the forerunner of what we would know as a hospital.

Day 2: Thessaloniki - Full of history, culture and beauty, this is Greece’s vibrant second city. St Paul arrived here to preach in 49 AD on his Second Missionary. His First Letter to the Thessalonians was addressed to a church in the city the following year. In a day of wonder, we see the Citadel and Vlatadon Monastery where Paul visited. Then we drive to Veria (Berroia in the Bible) where he preached to the noble Jews. Saint Paul is the patron saint of Veria.

Day 6: Kusadasi - A complimentary excursion is included to Ephesus and Miletus. Kusadasi is the gateway to Ephesus, once the second largest city of the Roman Empire and of course the home of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It’s believed that Paul wrote his Letter to the Ephesians here and preached at the Great Theatre of Ephesus, carved into the side of Mt Pion. It is still renowned for its wonderful acoustics. Our day also features the ancient city of Miletus where Paul stayed on his way back to Jerusalem.

Day 3: Kavala - Saint Paul came to this northern city and nearby ancient Neapolis on his first journey to Europe. At ancient Philippi he baptised the first Greek and European Christian convert, Lydia. A church and open air baptistery stand on the very site. He gave his first sermon and we visit the archaeological site here including the prison where Paul and St Silas were held. St Paul’s Monument is also on our itinerary. Day 4: Istanbul - The Greeks, Romans, Venetians and the Ottomans have all held sway over this city straddling Europe and Asia across the mighty Bosphorus. You will see the stunning Sultan Ahmet (Blue) Mosque, Hippodrome, Church of Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, Galata Bridge and of course the incomparable Grand Bazaar. This only touches the surface of the place once known as Byzantium and Constantinople. St. Paul travelled through the nearby city of Troas many times.

Day 7: Patmos - Patmos is one of northernmost islands in the Dodecanese and one of the smallest, most charming and most spiritual. It has an atmosphere of sacred grandeur. Patmos is most famous for being the supposed location of the vision to John the Baptist in the Book of Revelations and where it was written. When John was banished by Rome to Patmos near the end of his life, he was the last remaining of the 12 Disciples. We visit St John’s Monastery and the Holy Grotto of the Apocalypse, both of which have drawn pilgrims for centuries. Day 8: Athens - Our return to the Greek capital after our breathtaking voyage of discovery. For more information on all our excursions, please visit celestyal.com, ask your travel agent or click here to view our online brochure.

Iconic Discovery 2021/2022 Day 1: Athens/Syros - We leave the historic and classical capital of Greece aboard the Celestyal Olympia and set sail for our first destination, the beautiful island of Syros. We begin with a complimentary tour featuring Ermoupoli centre, the picturesque capital of Syros, where you will see the main highlights, such as Miaouli square, the Apollon Theater and the “Vaporia” district. This will be the perfect way for you to stroll around the beautiful town, mingle with the locals and enjoy the atmosphere of the island. We visit the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin to see El Greco’s “The Dormition of the Virgin”, which was painted in the 16th century. We then walk to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Metamorphosis, the first high school of modern Greece and now part of the Aegean University. After your tour there will be time to enjoy the cafes and restaurants on the beach front or shop in the small town. Day 2: Kusadasi - Vibrant and colourful, Kusadasi in Turkey is the gateway to the Hellenistic ruins of Ephesus, famed for the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You can explore Ephesus on our complimentary tour.

56

Day 3: Rhodes - His remains are nowhere to be seen of course but the Colossus of Rhodes once bestrode the harbour which gives us another link to the Seven Wonders. Lose yourself in the maze of atmospheric cobbled streets of the Old Town (a World Heritage Site) in that will transport you back to the Byzantine Empire and be sure to wander through the Knights Quarter and the Palace of the Grand Master. Indeed Rhodes is also known as the Island of the Knights. Our itinerary allows us a whole day here which gives plenty of opportunity to discover the clear waters, wonderful beaches and lush wooded valleys. Day 4: Santorini - Our odyssey continues as we spend the day in Santorini, whose stunning face is instantly recognisable across the world. We’re sure she will take your breath away, with her soaring landscapes, clusters of whitewashed houses in the capital Fira, and of course the iconic blue-domed church at Oia. Don’t forget to try one of the many restaurants jostling for position at the edge of the caldera. Day 5: Athens - We return to the capital in the morning after an exciting journey of discovery. For more information on all our excursions, please visit celestyal.com, ask your travel agent or click here to view our online brochure.

Iconic Aegean 2021/2022 Day 1: Athens/Mykonos - Aboard the Celestyal Olympia, we leave Athens and head for beautiful Mykonos in the Cyclades. The island, according to Greek mythology, was formed by the bodies of giants slain by Hercules. The most recognisable site on Mykonos is the row of immaculate picture postcard white windmills overlooking the water. Every visitor takes that picture. The Old Town has many delightful cafes and tavernas along its winding alleys and time will pass very quickly in these lovely, relaxing surroundings. Day 2: Kusadasi/Patmos - Vibrant and colourful, Kusadasi in Turkey is the gateway to the Hellenistic ruins of Ephesus, famed for the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You can explore Ephesus on our complimentary tour. Our next port of call is Patmos, a small and charming island a little over 20 square kilometres in size and lying in the Dodecanese. Biblical legend has it as the supposed location of the vision to John the Baptist in the Book of Revelations and where it was written.

Our complimentary excursion will take you to Lindos, the Acropolis, then on to the Old Town of Rhodes for a walking tour. Day 4: Crete (Heraklion)/Santorini - From one evocative island to another. Crete is Greece’s largest island and the fifth largest in the Mediterranean, a place of myths and legends. There will also be the opportunity to visit the capital Heraklion and absorb some of its extraordinary history. We then enjoy an evening in incomparable Santorini where you may get the chance to see the blue domed church at Oia. There will also be time for a wonderful, traditional meal at one of the many cliffside restaurants. Day 5: Athens - We return to the capital in the morning after an exciting journey of discovery.
